Hiya! I was looking for an rp with darkly humorous themes in which our characters hunt down baddies. These malcontents can range anywhere from the serous to the ridiculous, as does rest of the world. I don’t mind serious scenes, as long as we can wash it down with a bit of humor. Possibly vice versa.
The game takes place in the backroads, small towns, and occasionally the bustling cities of America. The general rule of thumb is if you can find folklore of it existing, it probably exists. Vampires, werewolves, warlocks, and many more exist. I’m not against creating some original creatures, however! Some world building would definitely take place before the rp starts. I would like some modern twists on the classic monsters and creatures, of course. They’ve been around for centuries, sure, but to blend into today’s society, they need to be adaptable!
Some plot/world ideas:
-Time Travel to rescue a doomed artifact to save the world
-Rather than Christianity being the “real” system of deities, maybe using Greco-Roman Gods and Godesses
-Evil unicorns. Don’t care how, don’t care why. Just.... evil unicorns. I actually have a character that is an evil unicorn. This is what happens when I take a joke too far: you get an actual rp with the evil serial killer Dad unicorn I’ve dreamed of.
I am literate, and you probably should be too. I write short paragraphs once play is established, however, I usually write much longer, multi-paragraphs to start and during complicated scenes and time skips.
