A red Envelope seal with what an untrained eye would see as wax but any tained hunter would smell the blood used. The seal looked from a wealthy family. Once open a red page with black writing, elegant but bold.

Dear resident,

My family is having a ball on New years eve, only a few are selected to come. This year I chose you! You may bring one guest or come alone. There will be dance and refreshments all night along with a count down to the new year. We are at the castle Van Wrath. I hope to see you there.

Gael frowned down at her black dress as she walked. Her only friend, an old elf had recommended her to wear one. But her sword had to be conceiled under it, along with a bunch of knives. She had had to choose the dress carefully to be able to do that.

The invitation had been a big surprise. She'd never been invited to a party or ball before, and wasn't sure of how to act. The decision was made when she noticed the blood. It was clear she had to go.

So now there she was, trying to fit in until she could identify the vampires.

Yuki in her white flowing dress looked over the crowd with her brother. "Well this is dull" she said yawning.

Kie laughed "look there a nice girl, what about her?"

Yuki licked her lips this girl was in a purple dress that screamed to be eaten. "She'd just be a snack" Before her brother could answer her:however : Yuki was already gone to separate the girl from the party. Just as Yuki thought this girl was only good for a snack. Throwing the Girl to a thrall that served her coven for disposal, Yuki went back to her brother licking the blood off her lips. "See no power in that one,"

"Well its not the kill hour anyway. That's the only time you can get power out of the powerless." Kie smiled and kissed the blood off his sisters lips.

Yuki rolled her eyes and went to the drink. They where a red colour and spiked with some of the best Aphrodisiacs known to man. Yuki stirred the bowl before truning her eyes back to the party.

Some young men approached and asked her to dance but she refused politely. Dancing wasn't something that came easily for her. She walked towards the drinks to at least have something in her hand that could serve as an excuse to not to dance. But one look at the strange contents of the glass convinced her that it may not be a good idea.

Yuki smiled at the girl in the simple black dress "how are you enjoying the party?" she asked, drinking from a darker red glass. "I hope your finding things to your liking?" The vampire licked her lips not this one she could feel the power off of this one. Flicking her eyes to her brother so the other wouldn't steal her kill she truned back to teh girl " I am Yuki and you?"

Gael nodded at the girl, at first not looking at her but staring at the drinks. Then she glanced up to introduce herself and a grin appeared on her face. It hadn't been that hard after all. Now, the plan.

"My name is Gael."

"Gael? What a strange name. Nice to met you. " Yuki smiled and offered a hand as she set her drink down " Would you care to dance?" Her eyes flashed from blue to red as her hunger rose. Yuki quitted it, this one was worth saving till the kill hour. When all the power she felt from the girl would double maybe even triple, and it would be Yuki's.

She smiled back, a fake one that was all too familar. "Sure." She said taking her hand and resisting the natural urge to stab the vampire right then.

yuki smiled and pulled the girl in to the room more. The grand candler casted wonderful shadows on the girl. "Are you alone tonight?" Yuki asked as she twirled the girl. Yukis white dress flowed but there where a few drops of blood red here and there almost not noticeable.

Gael struggled to look nonchalant and pretend as if she knew what she was doing, doing her best to not to trip with her dress. How many more vampires were at this place? Would she be able to take them all down? Just one way to find out.

"Yes, I'm alone." She could now smell the scent of fresh blood coming from the vampire and had to hold herself from scrunching her nose in disgust.

"Oh poor dear, were you stood up?" she asked wondering if there was bait to be laid. Yuki was looking for a longer term power source. She was trying hard to hold back her urge to lick her fangs. Yes this one would be prefect to bend and break. "So no one to kiss you on the count down? Poor dear" She spun the girl into a hug and smiled as the glint of a weapon. This may just turn into interesting night.

She was caught by surprise but laughed half-heartedly. "I'm not interested in that sort of thing, so I don't mind." She had in mind to get the vampire to leave with her. She couldn't kill her here, there were humans around too.

Yuki smiled " well maybe I'll steal you away" she smile and dance tword the egde of dancefloor. She grabed her drink and the girl a dirnk " here this will warm your heart. " she smiled and gave a look that said the girl need to not pass the dink up, or be rude.

This is it, this could be the opportunity she had been waiting for. She looked at the vampire girl, then at the drink in her hand. It couldn't be so bad. She'd just have to swallow... "Sounds great to me."

Yuki smiled and got close to the young girl, breathing in her sent and trailing her hand on the others hair. "you smell so good, hows the drink."

A shiver ran down her spine as she sipped from the glass. At least it didn't taste bad. In fact, if she hadn't had doubts about what it contained, she would've asked for another. She grinned and nodded. So she was her target. Big irony.

"Delicious. You should have one too."

Yuki held up her glass " I do have one, Its my favorit drink I get sad the only time we can have it is in the winter. she shruged then lead the girl to a sitting room where they could still see the dancers bt no one could really see them. "So tell me where do you live?" An hour to go...Maybe Yuki would time it right and she would have the other screaming her name just as the kill hour fell

Gael started to feel lightheaded and was grateful for the lack of twirling now. "Everywhere... Nowhere." It was true, she didn't have a permanent residence. Traveling so much didn't let her have one. She was barely aware that the girl was just making time. If she really was her target then she must be waiting for the right time. "I don't like to stay too long in one place. And you? You live here?" She asked as she had more of the drink.

Yuki sat the girl down and sat behind her leaning on the similarly framed girl. "Oh how advenchers I wish I could travel. I've been stuck here with my family. We have just always lived here." Yuki sighed her family was on of the few that disobyed the right of travel. On of the few laws vampires fallowed at all.

kissing the girls neck and rubbing her shoulder Yuki worked to get the girl relaxed "your to tense for my part relax. Not like any one is going to eat you " she smiled

Yeah, right. Gael thought; but let out a sigh when she felt the girl's hands on her shoulders. She was tense indeed, considering a vampire's mouth was so close to her neck, but it felt... well it wasn't so bad. "I'm just not used to parties. This is the first I attend to actually. And I don't even know why I was invited."
