Okay, to be fair though, mostly what I do is make insane gambles. Which is my plan, more or less.

I'll be holding off the posting until we shift location. Masato is out, and OPTIC is laser focused on getting him healed. I don't really have anything else IC'ly that would make sense to converse about :p

Which, btw, what are we looking at for surroundings within line of sight O'Mighty GM?

Generally speaking, old looking business-type buildings. The two important ones word be the police station and the grocery store. Every other building switches place or shapeshifts from time to time. Traps are forming in the store at present, trying to get Seo.

The police office is pretty safe, and said traps and shifts are minimal as the town's energy level slightly reflects Vincent's, and he's asleep.

An ominous mansion is present in the center of town, and visible from the present location because it lies on top of a hill. Very bad idea to try entering it at the present time.

Should be a hospital somewhere, closer to said mansion and not visible. Will likely have more medicine then the police station, but the station does have a first aid kit or two that we all could use.

I NEED to make that map.

Furthermore, how drastic of a location shift are we looking for? Looking for the hospital or pharmacy would require some aimless wandering and, depending on how bad of a shape Masato's in, a first-aid kit might be enough. So, how bad a shape is he in?

Do you want some help with the map? I can't promise National Geographic skills. But I can make a mean MS Paint.

I'm an artist myself, so I can make a functional and pretty-ish digital map. The only issue for me is time.

Without magic and without being focused, even though she was in a bit of a rage and panic, Victi's discharges may leave some minor burns, but it wouldn't have been able to, say, cook his insides. From my side of things, I would expect some muscle soreness once he wakes up, due to the several seconds of forced convulsion, though I'm not sure what other damage Ch10^9 is expecting based on the operatives hardware. That sort of thing usually causes unconsciousness more or less from the pain and the body just needing to shut down. There was also a bit of mauling in there, though he is armoured, so I dunno.

I was thinking a lot of concussive and blunt force trauma. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was tackled, thrown, pounded and stepped on by a magic creature of suggestively heavy weight :p

Yep, I'll try to doodle something during art class. I only need to make "zones" and draw a couple of buildings that don't move.

Tackled by Lisa, knocked back, tackled and briefly locked by Victi before she rolled off to avoid getting burned or having a shockwave wash through her guts at very close range, then she kinda crawled over in a feral fury, grabbed him, and just kinda went to town on him, mostly palm-striking around the head and trying to rip that helmet off so that she could have the armour soak up less of the current. A lot more kneeling than standing while she was blinded and deafened, but she probably was on him. Most of her weight was probably on her knees, so same result, I guess. Magic doesn't strictly work, but Dazz and I did talk about the funky biology involved, so she was able to bring more energy to her muscles than normal. Regretting it now, though. Girl's gonna need a lot of food. '^v^

Also, she's not super light, no, but for her dignity, let's do some quick math. ~v^ For a human woman around her height (~ 6'), typical weight range is around 148 to 162 lbs for a woman of medium frame, which.... she probably is, I don't think she's really "light frame" overall. She's quite athletic, especially with those legs (murr), so lets put her around 152, which is not too far out of high light-frame territory.

Now, each tail is probably between 3-4 pounds, and I might be low-balling that by, like, up to a factor of two, but I'm not sure. They're hard to weigh properly. Anyway, using an average of 3.5 lbs/tail, we're adding on another 31.5 lbs of floofer, bringing her up to about 183.5lbs. Each of the four wings is probably around an extra tail or two of mass (they're light), adding on another 14-24, using the same probably-low estimate, getting to a range of 197 to 208lbs.

She doesn't have much fatty tissue, granted, but again, lowballing wings and tails probably.

Okay, that was less quick than I planned.... but yeah! She's not really sensitive about it or anything, but I still felt the need to justify it. '^v^

Seems right, if not important? If you were to double the tails and wings and guess a 160lb base, I'd be closer to 300, if you assume 2tails=1wing, which seems.... high. I know for sure I'm not that heavy. My bones are lighter than nomal as part of the Valkyrie thing, though, so we can call that and the heavier tails a wash.

I legit feel bad for Liliath, by the way. '^v^ Victi's a liiitle bit hard on children. She had to grow up real quick, and.... doesn't really understand them well. They probably won't get along well for now...

So I was gonna pick the worst possible time to wake up Liz and I think we got it.

She hasn't been sleeping long but Victi screaming at a child seems like an effective alarm.

Yeah, waking up, head still hurts. The man she had earlier attacked has her in a fireman carry over his back, and Victi's screaming. Liliath will probably be in tears. Adam and Raven are just kind of there and they have no idea what to do.

Shouting more than screaming. VERY different things with someone like her. Screams are high and narrow-throated. Shouts are full-throated and at normal talking pitch. ^v^
