Hey you guys, welcome to my thread!
So since you've read the title - otherwise you wouldn't be here, right? -, you probably already know what I'm looking for: folks from whatever race, with whatever kind of personality and from whatever kind of setting who are willing to go on an adventure with my Dragon pal! Toby here is likely the first OC I have ever created - at age 7, mind you - and is still stuck in his 'child-friendly' state due to the 'child-friendly' mindset I had when I was 7 years old, but that doesn't mean he can't handle darker roleplays. Look past the fairy tale-like origin story and his awkward name, and you've got yourself a decent hero for each and every type of gritty, mature fantasy game. That said, light-hearted RPs are more than welcome as well!
Okay, allow me to throw some guidelines your way, and don't worry, they're not that strict. I'm really flexible when it comes down to.. well, whatever might be the issue, all you need to do is ask. Now, let's have a look at my requirements and stuff:

Okay, allow me to throw some guidelines your way, and don't worry, they're not that strict. I'm really flexible when it comes down to.. well, whatever might be the issue, all you need to do is ask. Now, let's have a look at my requirements and stuff:
- I've been roleplaying for about 4 - 5 years and I'm able to switch between concise (3+ sentences required!), para (1 or 2 decent paragraphs), multi-para (3 to 7 decent paragraphs) and novella (7+ decent/shorter paragraphs). Please tell me beforehand which style you prefer, I like them all!
- ^ However, there are a few things that I won't do, which include: oneliners (that give me little to nothing to go on), asterisk roleplay (just.. learn how to use proper punctuation, man..) and script-style (yeah, sorry kids..).
- Big ol' yes to: Character development, adventure, worldbuilding, fantasy, action, combat, IC drama, using NPCs, detailed writing, romance (MxF), supernatural, some sort of literacy and decent sense of grammar, intriguing plots or going with the flow, and of course, OOC banter! c;
- Big ol' no to: Powerplay, OP and/or Mary Sue/Gary Stu losers, godmodding, smut and anything erotic, OOC drama, ghosting (of course you can quit the roleplay, but tell me), not being honest about stuff (if there's something wrong, tell me!), and.. you know, all the stuff that decent roleplayers usually steer clear of doing.
- It would be fun if your character was a dragon or other non-human creature as well, but this is not a must! Toby and I are willing to play with anyone and everyone!

I'm pretty eagerly looking for a test run to try out this new character... I built this delicate little alien for sci-fi scenarios, but they'll work as a fantasy creature as well. I'd actually be pretty interested to see how they gel with a dragon. They're not very combat-capable, but I'm not against them getting into trouble and going on adventures.

That's an interesting little bloop you got there! In fact, despite sci-fi not actually being on my list, I do enjoy it and wouldn't mind adding some elements to the roleplay, I hope science fantasy is good with you? Either way, good to have you on board, I'll shoot you a PM as soon as possible.

I have a few characters but I'm not sure if any of them really either fit or would work well with a dragon. However, this thread has certainly peaked my interest and I could be willing to make a character (or pull one from existing documents etc) unless you see a current one I have that you like.
Much like my friend Riik here I am mostly multi para averaging 3 paragraphs per post I'd say but I can go straight novella at times too.

Sure, sci-fantasy is perfectly viable.
