I've had problem with lack of inspiration recently and don't know what to do with it. I have dozen of replies to send, lots of new rps to start but whenever I sit down to start working on them within 15 minute I give up on them. It's not like I'm not interested in that particular story, it's just I don't find myself in the mood to do anything.

Because of my busy schedule I'm already giving slow responses and now in addition I'm not inspired enough to send good replies. I don't know what to do. :( nor I want to keep my partners waiting for too long, nor I want to rush in anything.
Aww, Lotus, this happens to us all. Don't fret. I know the feeling is awful, and it sucks immensely, especially when excited to create a story, but perhaps your brain is telling you to take a break. Despite not wanting to, perhaps give your brain a different exercise in the meantime. Listen to music, dance maybe? Go for a walk if you are able, read a book, chat with friends? Wait a few days whilst trying to put writing out of your mind, and see if your brain is willing to give you a bit of a quid pro quo for the break you've given it.

Yeah, I know. Thank you for suggestion Demi. I just hate making people wait for weeks. 😭
I went through a patch, feeling similar to you. I realized that I just needed to take a break from RPR, and figure out what I needed. Which, I found hard because I tend to want to help other's before myself. I just would let everyone know about how you feel, and then relax. Don't fret about it. They will understand, and give you the break you deserve, and once you're ready, you can go back and start the RP again! <3 Just take a deep breath and remember that your health should be your top priority, before sending replies. You can't always satisfy everyone. I've learned that over time, and I hope that you feel better! :)

It can really help me to communicate some 'time off' towards my RP partners. :) That way I don't have the pressure in the back of my head going "Oh no they're waiting for a response" and can actually focus on practicing self-care, otherwise I just end up putting all my energy into fussing over making my partners wait.

Don't be afraid to spend several weeks doing something else if you have to. A lot of the time a day or two isn't quite enough to give you the rest you need, because by the time you're actually winding down you already need to get back in the saddle.
My dear Lotus, waiting for a good writer and a friend is simply not a problem. Life happens to us all, and sometimes I am too tired to write my replies, or equally feel drained of inspiration. Whatever you do, do not force it. Let it come to you, and catch it when it does, but please do not force yourself to write. It should not become a chore.

Like Demi says, take a break and do something else, that you love and enjoy, and then you will see inspiration coming back to you. If you chase it, it will run. <3

Relax reenergize rejuvenate yourself. I recently had a real life crisis. I stopped role-playing for 6 weeks. I feel way better now and my muse has roared back. When something isn't fun anymore take a break. Watch movies and just chat with your freinds. We all get writers block. Take time for yourself. All your freinds will understand and be here for you.

Cannot echo what Dorian and others have said enough. I know for certain that when it comes to the Tam-Fam, we all understand. All you need to do is pop into the discord and give everyone a heads up, Love. We're all here for you. <3
I agree with what everyone has said here. I have found that people don't mind, they can see where you're coming from, because chances are they've had the same thing before too. :)

This! I get this totally Lotus Flower! It is exactly what I've been working through since the new year. I have a couple RPs where the story is great, and the depth is really awesome, but for the life of me I can't seem to concentrate on getting a reply done. I'm starting to get back to my 2018 level thanks to some very patient co-writers and some new friends inspiring me.

Good insights and advice here! I guess at the end of the day, we all love writing and collaborative RP story-building, and the muse ebbs and flows for each one of us as their own tides.
