Griffon slept very well, and when he woke up he grabbed his back pack and left the room to the main room to see if he could find Acer.
Acer emerged from the game from the game room and found Griffon at the fork in the road golden carpet that lead to Acer's three private rooms. "Finally awake I see?"
Griffon nodded, he was wide awake. It was one of those lucky sleeps you get when you are excited when you sleep and wake up completely rested and alert. "What time is it?" He inquired.
Acer led him back to the door to the staircase, "Time to get going."
Griffon smiled. "Alright, I have two copper coins and a map. Let's go adventuring!"
The stairway led up to the main deck. There was a group of crew members waiting for them with what looked like supplies. "You ready," Acer said looking down, which made his hair cascade over his face even more, hiding his eyes.
Griffon looked at Acer. "Of course I'm ready!" He looked up, but his short hair went nowhere. "Are you, my friend?"
Acer smirked before turning to face the crew members. He walked over to the edge of the ship and looked over the edge. He saw that the boat was ready, which made him turn to face Griffon. "They'll lower you in one of the life boats." He pointed to the lifeboat next to him that had the sheet pulled off. Acer turned back and jump up to the boat's railing. He stepped overboard and fell straight like a board, landing in the middle of the speedboat, without making a sound.
"Well alright then." He climbed into the boat and waited to be lowered down. Being normal had its downsides when he had to take the long way all the time. "Show off!" He called down.
The crew members lowered him down, while the captain came from the top and waved a bon-voyage. Acer did a slight casual salute from where he sat without looking as a reply. "Let's go," Acer said as Griffon's boat leveled next to Acer's. Crew members still o the boat awaited for Griffon to alight it so they could press the button sending it back up.
A cautious exit took Griffon to the boat Acer was in. He nudged him. "Hey you got any carrier pigeons?" He looked around then up at the large boat. "I want to send back that cup I got, turns out it does work and I just happened to get it at a really cheap price. Don't want to lose it!"
"You want to put it back on the boat?" Acer said with an annoyed look on his face.
Griffon gave him a shrug. "I guess I can just hang onto it." He patted the pack on his back. "It should be safe enough!"
Acer dug his hands into his pocket and sat down as the motor started. He sat down and exhaled, "Don't you remember we need them at the island?" He clenched onto his lucky ring that he bought from the merchant. Acer cursed himself under hi breath, "The one day I forget my money..." He knew Griffon couldn't hear him, however.
"That was before I was no longer going to go through the desert." He waved an outstreatched hand across the horizon, showing all the water. "Water water everywhere but on the island there is a drop to drink!" He smiled at his word play.
Acer tried to hold back rolling his eyes before he buried his face in his palms.
A few minutes later the sun started to appear beyond the horizon, with the company of an island. Acer looked up as if instinct and immeadiatly noticed that the little green-ish dot was their destination. "Finally," Acer said in a cold voice as they crept closer along the water.

Griffon stood up, "That's where we gotta go!" He yelled, then half stumbled half sat back into his seat. He drummed on the backpack between his legs. This was it!
When they arrived Acer stood up quite fast, pulling out his map. The boat was several feet feet from the sand. "OK. Absolutely NOBODY gets out of this boat, got it?" The crew members nodded. Acer turned to Griffon, "Take out your map, will ya?"
Griffon pulled out his map from the same pocket he had earlier. It had dried out since and was slightly stiff as Griffon unfolded it. "There ya go!"
Acer rubbed his eye before saying, "OK, so we have to find out where on the island we are. I'll fly up there and tell you which way to turn the map when I come back down."
