Tressa nodded a little. "Oh, okay. How much older?" She looked up at him, then looked down at the horse. Finally, she looked around them. Honestly, she couldn't wait until they reached home. But it'd be a few days, he said. She was excited just to get out and travel, however. Twelve years in the same place really got boring.
"I mean to find out what race you are. You haven't quite developed the facial features of an adult," he smiled, "You could practice magic as soon as you'd like."
Tressa smiled as he clarified. "Really? Neat! I want to learn as soon as I can, daddy." She touched his furry arm, curiously, then looked around. "How long are we gonna ride, dad?" It was nice to be with her father, but the child couldn't help but be impatient.
He blushed as she called him that and sighed, "We are riding until nightfall"
Tressa glanced up at the sky to see how long it would be until nightfall. Then she just started petting at the fur on his arm and humming. Horse rides were only exciting for so long, something else had to occupy her attention!
He kissed her scalp again, "We'll stop in a while so you can get your energy out."
Tressa glanced up and stopped her petting, feeling like perhaps she was annoying him. "Okay." She tried to sit patiently and wait while they rode on.
After a few hours, he finally hopped off te horse and helped Tressa down. They were in a small grove of trees and a Spriggon hovered idly in the distance, looking at the two cautiously. If any harm came to the grove, it would attack.
Dmitri grabbed his warhammer just in case and red veins glowed as he touched it, showing it had a fire enchantment.

Tressa smiled happily as she was put down, and she ran about excitedly. She explored the grove, an innocent child learning about a beautiful new place. When she found some flowers, she picked one and ran over to Dmitri, holding it up to him. "Here, daddy!" She blushed a little, shyly. It was so new to her, having a father.
(A Spriggan, though they're usually green)
Dmitri watched the Spriggan carefully when Tressa picked the flower, though fortunately, she was smart enough to know that Tressa was just a child. She looked very confused though, when Teessa called Dmitri "Daddy."
The Khajiit smiled at his daughter, "Thank you. If its still alive when we get home, I'll plant it," he kissed her forehead then pointed to the magical creature hovering nearby, "Do you know what that is, Tressa?" he asked.

Tressa smiled happily as he smiled and kissed her forehead. She looked over to the creature he pointed to, and took a step closer to her new father. "...no...there was nothing like that at the orphanage, or in the village.." Tressa was almost like a baby, in the sense that she was nearly brand new to the world. Hardly outside the orphanage, and never outside the village. "Is it going to come hurt you, daddy?" she asked worriedly. He had picked up his warhammer, after all.
Everytime she called him that, he blushed and couldn't help but smile, "No, she won't. She's a Spriggan, a guardian of the forest and of nature. She will leave me alone as long as we don't harm her trees or this area," he said, "You may run and play around as you wish, she will not hurt you. If she comes near you though, just move a bit slower, I'm sure she's just curious. Not many children are out here. don't run unless she gets aggressive."
Tressa listened to him and nodded. "Okay." She smiled at him, then went to look around some more. This time, however, she took Dmitri's hand and pulled him along to look with her. She glanced occasionally at the Spriggan. "She's a guardian...so she's nice, right?" She smiled and gave a little wave to the Spriggan, and then looked around with her new father.
Dmitri laughed as he was pulled along, carrying his warhammer over his shoulder as he followed her.
The Spriggan looked down at her own hand, confused at the gesture before doing it towards Tressa.
"Well," the Khajiit laughed, "They are as long as we don't harm their trees or the animals around here, but she seems nice."

Tressa nodded. "I don't wanna hurt the trees or animals, so we'll be fine. She's nice because she protects them, because they can't protect themselves." She smiled, and explored the grove with him. When she wore out all her energy, she stopped walking and leaned against her new dad.
At one point, the Spriggan gained up the confidence and actually sat next to Tressa, though Dmitri immediately had his warhammer at the ready in case something happened. The Spriggan was content to just sit there next to Tressa, watching her.
When the girl was all tired out, Dmitri picked her up and set her on his horse's back then hopped up behind her, giving the mystical guardian a nod of acknowledgment. She did a little spin then waved at Tressa.

Tressa would smile and chatter at the Spriggan about how pretty it was here, and how the Spriggan was doing such a good job in keeping everything nice and safe. She would lean back against Dmitri when she was settled on the horse, and she did a tired wave to the Spriggan as they left on the horse. "She was nice..." Tressa yawned. She closed her eyes and settled against Dmitri.
(Unfortunately, Spriggans are very hostile creatures in game and attack immediately)
Dmitri set the horse off at a canter, his arms holding the reins and holding Tressa up.

Tressa stayed on the horse, but she soon fell asleep. She'd probably sleep for the rest of the horse ride, until they found a town or stopped for the night. Then she stirred, yawned, and looked around. "..where are we?.."
Tressa would find herself laying in a bed while Dmitri sat in chair nearby and watched over her, though he was almost fast asleep though when she asked and he barely managed to say "Inn," before passing out.
