Tressa shook her head at his question. "No, I didn't get hurt. You protected me, just like you said you would, daddy."
He smiled and nodded, "Good..." he slowly lifted his right hand and a ball of cream-colored, swirling light appeared into it. He focused his energy and suddenly the light swirled around his whole body, healing himself.
Tressa stared as he healed himself, her eyes wide. "Magic!! That was magic!!" She smiled. "Daddy, I want to be able to do that. I want to learn right away, so that I can help you and protect you too!"
He smiled at her as he stood and stretched, "I will teach you when we get home... Stay inside though. I need to help with cleaning and healing the injured," he said quietly.
Tressa hesitated, not wanting to be away from him. But she nodded, and went back inside to stay and wait in their room until he came back. She wished she could do more to help. She hated just sitting around.
When all the bodies were taken away and the injured had been healed, he went inside and got Tressa from their room, bow in his hand and the arrows and warhammer strapped to his back, "You ready to go?"
Tressa hopped to her feet and nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready." She went with him to the horse. "Everything's okay now, right daddy?" She didn't want another dragon attack. That had been so terrifying.
"For now. I just hope we don't get attacked on the road," he sighed, shuddering as the memory of Shor's Stone returned. An Elder Dragon had attacked the village. He and three guards were the only survivors of the miners camp. All the villagers had been killed.
"Let's go," he lifted her onto the horse then climbed up behind her and st off down the trail, ready to go around The Throat of The World.

Tressa settled back against him. "I hope so too." She rode with him on this next day of their trip, sighing. "Daddy, when are we going to get home? How many more days?" She couldn't wait to see her new home and get settled in.
"It should only take two more to get to Markarth," he said reassuringly, "We will get to the city of Whiterun by tonight. We will be able to stay in the inn there, which is much nicer. I know the people there too."
Tressa listened to him and smiled. Just two more days! "Okay!" She was excited to meet people her father knew. She rode on the horse with him happily, excited to be getting so close.
He smiled and Nuzzled his wet nose against her cheek.
Tressa smiled at his nuzzling and giggled, rubbing her head back against his happily. "I love you, daddy." she said quietly.
He blushed deep red, "I love you too, Tressa," he purred a bit and brought his tail up and around, resting it on her lap and using the tip to tickle her nose.
Tressa smiled brightly when he spoke. Someone loved her. That made her so very, very happy. She giggled as his tail tickled her nose and she batted at it playfully.
He rested his chin on top of her head and yawned a bi but kept on flicking his tail in front of her, giving her something to do. He didn't even need to really guide the horse. It knew to stay on the trail.
Tressa was kept quite preoccupied by his tail, giggling and playing with it while it flicked around in front of her.
After a while, Dmitri stopped the horse and got off then took Tressa off too and set her down. In the far distance, the castle of Dragonsreach could be seen in the grassy tundra that Whiterun was built on.
"There it is," he pointed and smiled, "Dragonsreach is the castle."
"There it is," he pointed and smiled, "Dragonsreach is the castle."
Tressa bounced around a little as she was set down, and she looked at the castle. "Oh wow! A real castle!" She smiled brightly and hurried about, running around in the grass to get out all her energy. "Have you been inside the castle, daddy? Is it pretty?"
"Yes I have and yes it is," he smiled and sat down in the soft grass as his horse stooped over for a drink from a nearby stream that ran to the river in the center of the valley far below on the right side of the path.
A ball of dark purple light appeared in his hand and he thrust out his palm, shooting it at the ground. A massive, tentacled creature appeared in front of him, a Seeker. It hovered idly in front of them then turned and looked over at Tressa.
"Whenever I summon you, it is your job to protect her, understand?" Dmitri told it. The creature made no noise but the patron of Seekers, Hermeus Mora, was the Daedric Prince (Demon/pseudo god) of knowledge, secrets and lies, so he knew the creature understood.
