Tressa froze when her father made that terrifying creature appear. She ran to hide behind Dmitri, shaking. But then he spoke to the thing. She peeked out, then hid behind her father again. It was scary!
Dmitri put an arm around Tressa and pulled her into his lap. The Seeker looked down at her, it's octopus-like tentacles swaying beneath it.
"This is my Seeker. He is strong and he will protect you if I am otherwise occupied" he said reassuringly, "They help the Daedric Prince Hermeus Mora find all the secrets of the world. That is why they are called Seekers."

Tressa listened to him, staying close against her father as she sat in his lap. "...okay." she said quietly. He was still scary-looking. She nuzzled against Dmitri though, and he helped her to relax a little bit.
"How about I conjure something more friendly for you?" he asked with a small smile. He personally found Seekers t be very interesting creatures and extremely helpful in battle.
Tressa nodded. "Yeah. He looks scary. I'm glad he'll protect me because he'll scare other people off, but he's kinda scary when he looks at me..." She nuzzled into her father.
"He's helped me a lot," he chuckled and another orb of glowing purple light appeared in his hand. When he thrust his palm out, a translucent, glowing blue wolf appeared and it growled for a moment then sat down and wagged its tail. The Seeker had vanished into the wind.
Tressa stared in surprise, then smiled at the wolf. "Wow! Dad, you're so cool! You can make anything come up!" She hugged him and looked at the wolf. "Can I pet it?"
"Not anything. Everything that I can summon helps me to fight or to protect you now," he smiled and kissed her cheek, his whiskers tickling her nose, "You may play with it too, little one."
Tressa giggled at the tickling. "Oh, I see." She smiled happily when he said she could play with it. "Okay!" She got up and hurried over to start playing with the wolf, petting it happily.
The wolf looked up at her then stood and rubbed his head against her.
Tressa smiled happily and would play with the wolf, having it chase her around playfully. When she was all run out again, she went back to her father.
Dmitri cast a spell and the wolf vanished into the wind.
"Feeling nice and tired?" he asked and kissed her forehead.
"Feeling nice and tired?" he asked and kissed her forehead.
Tressa smiled and yawned, giving a nod. "Yeah. Are we gonna keep going?" She cuddled into him, closing her eyes.
"We could stay here for the rest of the day, or we could go to Whiterun. If we camp here for the night, we will skip Whiterun but it will take a bit longer to get to Markarth."
Tressa listened to her father. "Markarth is home? Or close to it? I want to go see Whiterun, and I want to be closer to home faster." She smiled a bit at her father.
"Markarth is the city with our home," he smiled and lifted her onto his horse then hopped up behind her. It took about another two hours before they reached Whiterun's gates and a guard helped Tressa off the horse then Dmitri hoped down and the guard led the horse to the stables.
Tressa listened to him and smiled, getting onto the horse. "Then let's go!" She giggled, and enjoyed the horse ride. When they reached Whiterun, she looked around with curious eyes. She loved all the new sights!
It wasn't a large city exactly, but it was quaint. When entering, the first thing on their right was a blacksmith's shop called War Maiden's. The smith, Adrianne Avenicci, was standing at the forge, creating a sword. Just to the left was a road leading up to part of the residential distric and right next to that road, just before the houses was a bar and fletchwrs shop called the Drunken Huntsman.
Dmitri guided Tress up the road, past a few houses on the righ and to a small market place. Directly to the right was Balimunds General Goods Store and on the left were market stalls and some stairs leading up to another circle. Directly opposite of them was an in called the Bannered Mare. Dmitri led Tress to it and opened the door for her. It was warm inside, a large fire glowing brightly in the center. People were sitting around, having drinks.

Tressa looked around curiously, taking in all the sights around her. It was such an amazing thing. When they reached the inn, she smiled at her father and went inside, looking around at the inn. The entire place was just...so amazing!
Dmitri rented out their room and ordered dinner. He sat down at the two person table near the entrance as two plates with steak and cheese arrived.
"I'm starving," he grinned.
