Tressa sat down with him and smiled. "I'm really hungry too!" She started eating when their food came, kicking her feet under the table idly as she ate. She couldn't help but be so energetic. "How long is it from here until we get home, daddy?"

"About another day if we don't stop. If we do, we'll get there at around midnight.

Tressa ate her food, listening to him. She nodded. "Okay. I don't wanna stop then, I can handle it! I wanna see home as soon as I can." She smiled. "I've never had a home before, I can't wait!"

He smiled down at her and burped loudly as he finished, "Oh my! Excuse me," he laughed and stood. He bought a bottle of Argonian Blood Wine and sat back down.
"You go to sleep," he said, "I'm going to speak with some of the other adults," he said.

Tressa giggled when he burped, and she smiled at her father. "Okay, daddy." She gave him a hug, then went to get into bed. She liked it better when he tucked her in, but oh well.

He did in fact follow her and tucked her in with one hand, holding his wine in the other then kissed her forehead and walked out of the room and back to the main hall.

Tressa smiled when he tucked her in and kissed her forehead. She would try to fall asleep, but it took over a half hour. When the half hour passed, she just got to her feet and went to the door, peeking out it carefully. She couldn't sleep, and she wanted to see what her father was up to.

The Khajiit was simply talking and laughing with the other adults, telling ludicrous stories from his wine-induced stupor.

Tressa crept out a little farther, looking down from the railing to try and listen to her father's stories. She was curious as to what tales he was telling. She sat down and put her legs through the bars of the railing to the upstairs, and watched her father idly. People came and went up and down the stairs, going to their room or to the tavern area, but no one paid attention to the little child.

Dmitri finally said goodnight to everyone and started walking his way up the stairs when he caught sight of hmthe 12 year olds bare feet, but the alcohol quickly made him forget and he walked on up.

Tressa was nearly falling asleep on the stairs. But when she saw him coming, she scrambled back to their room and hurried into bed, pulling the covers up over herself just as he came in. She stayed still, and by pretending to be asleep so Dmitri wouldn't get angry, she actually really did fall asleep!

Dmitri smiled when he saw her in bed and washed his face then changed into a pair of fresh sleeping clothes and lay down next to her in the bed.

Naturally, she cuddled up against her father and fell asleep. In the morning, she probably woke first, since Dmitri may very well be hungover. She got up, carefully, and went to wash up and get dressed. She peered out the window to try and decide what time it was, then went over to poke at her father's arm. "Daddy, time to get up."

He groaned agitatedly as he sat up. Dmitri wasn't really hung over, Alcohol never had that much of an effect on him to even get him drunk for long an the worst thing it did for him was make his Russian accent become much thicker and he slurred his words. Argonian Blood Wine was one of the only drink that could make him stumble and he only had it lar night as a bit of a celebration for having his new daughter.
"How did you sleep?" he asked as he swung his furry feet over the side of the bed and stretched.

Tressa smiled at him. "I slept good, daddy. Did you sleep good?" She stretched, then went to look out the window again. "Can we go soon, dad? I want to get home as fast as we can!" She couldn't wait to finally be home. To finally be in the place that she would be living in!

"We will. Would you like to just take breakfast with us?" he asked as he stood up and playfully wiggled his tail against her nose.

Tressa giggled and gave a little sneeze as he tickled her nose. She rubbed at her nose and smiled at him. "Yeah, let's take it with. Then we can get home sooner!" She followed him to get their things ready, and then get breakfast to eat on the horse.

He gave her some money to buy what she wanted for breakfast then got dressed in a nice but simple shirt and went downstairs. He waited by the door for Tressa then led her back out and down the road to the gates. Then out and around the walls and to the stables, where his horse was waiting.
"The rest of the ride is going to be very dull," he informed her, "Mostly flat tundra... We'll probably see some giants and their mammoths though."

Tressa smiled happily and went to get her food, then got onto the horse with him. She settled against him. "Really? Giants and mammoths?! Wow!" She smiled. "I'll be good daddy, I promise!" She didn't want him to stop so she could run about, she wanted to get home!

"Yes. If we see them on the road, we must wait though. They are not guardians like the Sprigfans and they will attack is if we get too close." he said as he climbed up behind her and turned the horse to start trotting down the trail.
