AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

You are a nice person. I guess feed him until it gets warm and then release him into the wild. And make sure he doesn't bite you in case he has some kind of wild animal disease or something. But awww!
Hades_

Please, PLEASE make sure you wash your hands! Do not use the towel that you dried him with for anything. While sweet, cute, and fuzzy... Mice carry MANY MANY diseases. It can be very harmful to you. It's okay that Please just be careful. He is a wild little thing and if he bites you it can be very detrimental to your health if he is carrying anything. He may look healthy and clean, but he could still be carrying something harmful to you and especially to any pets you might have.

I would just suggest keeping him in a container that has a lid on it, of course let him breathe, but they an be quite the crafty little escape artists.

I demand constant updates! ^_^ Do the babies have names?
You, uh, probably have an infestation, actually. >.> And the first may not even be related to the others, since the smaller ones are at least a couple weeks old.

Keep your food well sealed? ^^;
Cute! They look like house mice, though, which means there's probably a lot more where that came from.
Draken901

I highly suggest moving them to a bigger... enclosure if you have one available, as mice poop and pee A LOT, and could be wallowing in their own filth mixed in with their food in such a cramped space. Especially if you have something like maybe a left over terrarium or hamster cage as I know rats have the capability to chew through plastic, not sure about mice though. Also consider feeding them something other than grainy foods, as they're omnivores and also eat fruit, seeds, and even other animals. (and if food's scarce, they can become cannibalistic.) Once the snow blows over just take 'em out to the nearest bushel or wooded area and they'll be good to go.
I’d recommend releasing them back into the wild. They are wild animals who deserve to be wild animals.

to answer some questions/comments!

their names are HORVATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS; DAR G'FLENON, RAVISHER OF DIMENSIONS; CHEES, MOTHER OF THE ABYSS; and Bill. he's a cool guy.

so far there haven't been any more sightings outside of these four troublemakers. hopefully this is the extent of them.

they're currently in an extra ten gallon tank (with a screen lid, duh) with newspaper and food, moved them after the pictures. they're very noisy creatures at night...the little ones are squeaky when they're squabbling over a piece of food. don't ask me why they want that piece in particular when there's an assortment of stuff for them to have.

they'll be returned to the wild in the local park tomorrow, weather prevailing. was going to do that today but then it dropped to the negatives again and snowed.

fun fact: they're basically ninjas. teenage mutant ninja mice.
I love this thread oh my god

OP shared in the first post why they had not done that yet. :)
