Kori bounced down the street, as carefree as he could possibly be. The sly little hobbit wove his way in between the oblivious merchants and buyers, carefully snatching the coin purses out of their pockets lightly and continuing on his merry way before they realized what had happened. Only later would they realize they had been purloined.
Kori was a master pickpocket. They would never know, unless someone saw him...
But no one ever did. He took pride in this fact. Nobody ever suspected the hobbits, especially the innocent looking ones like him.
Yes, I don't care if I got booted from town, this is- OOH, SHINY!!

Ryoran walked around, making his way through the crowd as if he owned the world, with his blue top hat standing out like a street light. He saw a poster of 'Wanted' pasted on a wall and snatched it, crumpling it into a ball and tossing it aside. They just never got his good angle.

(Sure, Shadow- I don't mind)

Kori paused a moment, eyeing a guy in a blue top hat. The vibrant blue caught his attention, and his kleptomaniacal tendencies kicked into high gear. He wanted that hat-
However, the dude tossed a piece of paper on the ground, and Kori frowned instead, distracted. "HEY! PICK THAT UP, YOU LITTERBUG!" he snarled with surprising ferocity for such a small being.
Kori, after all, was a nature lover.

Ryoran stopped walking and looked around to then spot a not very happy small guy. He pointed at himself with his thumb. "Are you talking to me, little man?" He asked as he walked towards him, subtly kicking the crumpled paper out of sight.

"Yes I am," Kori replied, stubbornly holding his ground and slowly craning his neck to look up at Ryoran as he drew steadily nearer. "Be considerate of your wild environments!" he squeaked up at Ryoran, noticing that now he only really came up to his kneecaps or so. He flailed his arms spastically for good measure. "One day that will end up in your water!"
The blue hat was driving Kori insane. He really wanted to reach up and snatch it right off his head... But there was an issue with that. Ryoran was much taller than him, and even if he took a flying leap he could probably only reach this guy's belly button.
Sometimes it was sad being a hobbit.

He raised an eyebrow at the hobbit, not understanding what the big fuss was about. "Calm down, it's just paper." He took notice of Kori's pockets that looked like they had quite the money in them. "You know what, if you're so upset about it. I'll invite you a drink as an apologize." He offered tipping his hat back. "What do you say?" Ryoran had been searching for something significant to steal but coins would do too. He had to eat something.

(Hmm... Should I have Crysor in this too or just Kori?)

Kori paused a moment, scratching his chin.
"I do enjoy lemonade," he admitted, "especially when it has a lot of sugar in it. I love sugar, you see, it's all sweet and-"
With that, the bubbly little hobbit babbled on and on good naturedly, forgetting about everything, including the paper and the hat.
He's a little ADD that way.

"See, we'll have fun." Ryoran palmed the hobbit's back, knowing exactly where to go. He didn't know if they had lemonade there, though. "Sugar is awesome."

He grabbed Kori's head to steer him in the correct direction as the people around didn't spare them a glance. And he was glad for it. But soon he'd have to change the color of his hat since each day there were posters with his face on it, and not the good kind.

Kori staggered along with Ryoran, staggering only because of the pressure on his head. He held out his arms to steady himself, trying not to kick anyone in the shins as they wound their way through the packed streets.
"So where are we going?" he asked in a trusting manner.

"Oh, this place called 'Rainbow Sparkles'." He chuckled. "It's really good." He used his free hand to slip his hand in one of the hobbit's pocket and grab a couple of coins, while still guiding him. "I know you'll love it. My name is Ryoran."

"Rainbow Sparkles? Sounds shiny," Kori commented, feeling something off in his pocket but deciding to ignore it. "I'm Kori."

"Oh it's shiny indeed." Ryoran laughed, thinking of leaving Kori there once he got some more money. "Nice to meet you, lad." He finally stopped in front of a dirty looking tavern, not at all shiny, with a phrase sloppily written on its front. 'Rainbow sparkles'. "Here we are."

Kori paused uncertainly, staring at the worn out building. "Doesn't look very shiny... I don't see any rainbows either. This is weird." The place gave him the creeps, but he decided not to voice this opinion. No, better go in tough and looking like he could take care of himself, even though it was a difficult task.

"Trust me, they have the best lemonades." Ryoran opened the wooden door, hoping the little man would get stomped by the guys around. The sound of loud talking and the smell of beer and other unknown scents mixed to create a rather nasty atmosphere.

Kori covered his sensitive hobbit ears as the door opened. The cacophony of noises and scents was overwhelming, and he was having issues processing it all.
"Gah," was his only response.

"Yeah, that's what I said too the first time I came here. What are you waiting for? Go in before someone skins you out of fun." Ryoran said half joking. They were met many unfriendly stares but he welcomed them with a grin and a salute. "Smell that? I think it's chicken!"

Kori shook his head like his ears were waterlogged, trying his best to look tough so he wouldn't make an easy skinning target. It was very hard though, and he mostly ended up looking like a lost puppy following its owner.
He furrowed his brow against all the malicious glares and straightened his thin shoulders, though his light hazel eyes betrayed his uncertainty and nervousness.
"I like chicken," he mumbled hesitantly, sticking close to Ryoran's side.

The grin on Ryoran's face vanished. He realized he was being kinda mean, and decided that he would get the guy his lemonade and get him out of there, but that'd be all. He had to admit the place could be pretty intimidating for newcomers. "Then lets get you some."
