Mouse watched quietly as the human explained to the small thing.... and then watched her put away her weapons. The story was an odd one, but when were the humans ever not? Letting loose a small sigh, she turned off her cloak and stood to the side, looking over the little thing. It was but a moment before her sword was minimized.
A moment later her hand flashed out to grasp a tiny sparkling being. Mouse couldn't help her look of confusion as to it's purpose, but it couldn't be seen through her mask- so it didn't seem to matter.
"What?"

"What?"
Jason trailed off uncertainly, staring at the tiny sparkly elephant. "Umm..."
"That's cute," Pit commented, coming to the conclusion that Jason was back under control. He walked back out to the common room so he could keep reading his book.
Kirby intercepted him on the way there, holding the mangled toaster, his face blackened and charred from the explosion. "Look at it!"
"I'm looking," Pit replied cautiously. "Wait a minute... Where's TL?"
"His hat was on fire so I stuffed him in the freezer to put him out."
"Will you please go get TL out of the freezer and bring him over here?"
"Sure." With that, Kirby waddled back to the kitchen, still laughing at the exploded toaster.

Maxwell giggled silently with glee as his distraction worked.
Now just to find a way to get back to his precious Starites... He had almost figured out a way to get that little boy's tooth without waking him up, too.
Blast.
Let's see if a TELEPORTER would work?
The room suddenly had an odd chair-device thing in the middle of it all. Right next to the elephant.

Jason stared at the chair, wondering if this day could get any stranger. "Umm... Okay then." He glanced at the elephant, wondering what he was going to do with it now that it was here.
Kirby came out of the kitchen with something bulging in his mouth. Pit frowned at the pink puffball.
"Kirby! Spit him out, now!"
Kirby spat a small, green clad figure into Pit's arms. The little thing was shivering uncontrollably and his eyes were squeezed closed.
"C'mon, TL, lets go warm you up," Pit said, taking the mini version of Link to the couch to warm him up and fix his smoldering hat.
Kirby followed along behind. "Hey, anybody know where that new guy ran off to? What'd Jason call him- Maxwell or something?"

A video game character, huh? It was all I was told. Yet to be honest, the panic wasn't surprising. Even as 1s and 0s, there was always some sort of awareness that all those guards rehashed banter and looks were not by coincidence. Now they all had different faces, yet still bland one. At the beginning, they were making sure I didn't slip into a Panic Attack with some scans and pills and junk, but also reassuring that the others wouldn't be so hard to kill as The Doctors. Of course I didn't like what they were playing at, but
they fed me some stuff and washed my straitjacket-made-shirt. They even got out that little gray matter stain on my sleeve that bugged me oh so much.
After about a week of that, they assigned me a room. Did I flip? Of course. It was all too familiar. But those meds did something funky to my messed up head, and I found myself tense, yet I went along with it after being told over and over no killing. I wouldn't kill them, but it's nice to know how a person, or character, is. Just to make sure I'd be able to kill them if I had too.
So now I gotta socialize....

Jason sighed, "Probably Maxwell goofing around... Geez." He picked up the tiny sparkly elephant and strode off, tossing it at Pit. "Here, have a pet."
Pit jumped, startled, and caught the thing before it could bonk TL on the head. "Watch it! My hands are kinda full right now."
TL nestled further into the warmth of his wings, somewhat sleepy and cold. "Stop moving."
"Sorry."
Kirby nommed innocently on a fish stick he had cooked in the now exploded toaster. "Yumz."

Master Chief silently moved through the Covenant warship, silently, quietly. He went invisible and he looked around, making sure there were no hostiles in the immediate vicinity. He then sprinted down the hallway, but the surroundings blurred. He started to feel a little dizzy, but he didn't stop. That's when things faded to black.
Gordon Freeman took out his gravity gun. Combine were closing in, but he had to defend Dr. Kliener (Not sure if that's how you spell it.) while he was configuring the teleporter. He picked up an explosive barrel conveniently near him and shot it at the combine troops. The startled soldiers shot at the barrel, exploding it in their faces. "Gordon!" A voice crackled over the radio. "Get in the teleporter! Quickly!" The doctor said. "Thanks, Dr. Kliener." He said. He ran into the teleporter, but his vision blurred and then he started to get dizzy. "Hopefully Kliener did this right..." Gordon said when everything went black.
Master Chief and Gordon Freeman stood near each other, their heads sore. They noticed each other, and Cheif drew a combat rifle out and Gordon his pulse rifle in turn. They stared each other down. After a while, they said, "Who're you?" at the same time.

Jason had gone back into the room to get the teleporting chair thingy out of the lab, and he hasn't expected to see two new Heroes with some nasty looking guns recently spawned, if that's what you want to call it.
Startled, he jumped back a foot or two. "GAH!"

Mouse had not gone too far from the general transporter device, but turned to regard it when noises came from it. She was not surprised to see the Monster, or rather, the Master Chief, pop out of the device. After all, he was one of the best earthling in battle, had obviously gotten the better of her own race's best warriors. It was wise of the Arbiter to hear him out and find reason in the maddness that was our religion. The prophets were not to be trusted.
