She sighed. "Yeah fine." She slumped down in her seat. She twirled with her lush blonde hair. "How long, may I ask..." She looked at the man in the drivers seat. "Sir."

"Well, maam, it should take 5 minutes in this bad boy." Curiosity looked forward again. "I'm a time traveler of sorts, but don't tell anyone." He winked at Nicky.

Nick nodded gravely. "You can say that again..."

"A time traveler?" She looked confused. "Do you mean you drive fast?" She look at Nick. "What does he mean?"

"No, I mean... Never mind..." He sighed in frustration, letting the stereo fill the silence.

She look curiously at the man in the driver seat. "What do you mean?" She searched his eyes. "Can you tell me?"

Nick rolled his eyes, feeling Curiosity's annoyance. "It means he travels time. You said something about the time space continuum when we first met, right?"
Surprisingly, he was starting to grow accustomed to the weirdness of his... Groupmates, if that's what you wanted to call them.

She seemed less confused. "Interesting." She pulled out a phone and started to text someone.

Nick busted up laughing at this odd sight. "Seriously? You have reception? And that person is still alive? What are the odds, man, what are the odds... I'm totally losing my mind. Someone pinch me."

She chuckled. "Just my brother." She sighed. "He's the only one I actually know that is alive right now."

"How do you explain the reception? Lemme guess: that's magic too."

"Magic? Don't be ridiculous. There is no such thing." She waved the phone in front of him. "Just high-tech."

He laughed, leaning against the door for support. "No magic? Then how are we time traveling? How can those two-" he waved at Raden and Curious- "summon completely awesome guns out of nowhere? Oh no, no magic at all."

"I'm sorry, but I honestly don't believe in magic. And having guns appear out of nowhere? Rubbish." She just looked away as if thinking that conversation is over.

Nick sighed and stared out the window. "Sorry to burst your bubble, princess, but we're surrounded by the damn stuff now... I can't have normal friends."

"It's true." He looked back and grinned. "I do have magic. I can make stuff appear and disappear. But Curiosity here is much more experienced in magic than I am."

(Curiosity never gave his name)
