1. Getting honked at in traffic?

Yesterday when this happened, I was like, "Pshhhh...you're fine. Calm down." They couldn't hear me, of course. But I said it anyway. I don't tend to honk back.


2. Getting surprised with a gift?

I love that kinda stuff. Some people don't like suprises, I think it's fun.

3. Taking a few days away from roleplaying?

I am doing very well past day or two at making myself not roleplay at all for a few days to get refocused. But I thought it was interesting how, if I'm off for long enough, my mind will go to "Wouldn't it be neat to make a YouTube channel? Let's do that!" or some such grandiose idea. Lol. The creative impulse has to go somewhere.

4. Your city's team winning at sports?

I could not be more indifferent, except I like watching the other people get all excited.

5. Dropping something?

I cuss.

6. When someone accidentally bumps into you at the grocery store or somewhere?

I usually apologize, and then walk away frustrated that I apologized for them bumping into me.

7. Getting a call late at night?

I just silence my phone. If my phone's not silenced, I figure it's my fault, not theirs! I like people trying to connect with me, no matter what time. I don't get mad if someone wants my company; I take it as a compliment.

8. Someone being late?

I don't get mad, because I struggle with punctuality.

I love it! I will listen to it and talk to them the whole way back.

I usually launch into some long, nervous explanation, but I enjoy them.

Well, I personally don't drive, but it always amuses me when my dad gets mad at the other drivers.

I either ignore it or apologize, it depends.

I usually get annoyed and ignore the call.

I am very punctual so it really annoys me, especially when its my dad and I have to be at school in ten minutes.

It depends, some people who do this are innocent, some are wacko. Usually, I'll listen, but I don't feel comfortable. I'm no good with strangers IRL.

I honk back depending on what they're honking at, not even gonna lie about this one. If the light has just turned green and you're honking, you're getting it right back, buddy.

I get super excited and giddy! I usually hug the person (if they're in reach) giving it to me.

I actually prefer to or I feel like I get some kind of stir-crazy. RP is fun but so is life outside of it, and this weird thing happens where I get anxious if I've been sedentary.

4. Your city's team winning at sports?
I'll be honest I stopped caring about football after highschool. I went to every single game back then and saturated myself in "school spirit." I painted myself, tailgated, the whole shebang. Every win was this big thing. After I graduated, I just didn't care about my state's team.

I usually make some kind of noise or I cuss, too.

I apologize for the sake of being courteous. If they apologize, I smile and let them know "you're fine!" or something like that. No harm, no foul.

My life can get hectic even without me being there so my phone is kept on full volume even late at night. If you're calling me late, I'm assuming it's an emergency so I'll answer with concern. If it's not an emergency, I'll be a little miffed, but it's forgiven if I can go back to sleep.

I don't get mad but I can get irritated, depending on the situation. If it's something that's been planned in advance to the most minimal of details, I won't be thrilled. But if we do what we're supposed to regardless I get over it.

This actually happens to me a lot. People have told me I'm just super approachable and I should get used to it, so I do. I've met some really interesting people with just as interesting stories, so I listen. The only time I'll ever turn someone away is if I don't feel safe. (Which, has happened.)

10. Compliments?
If it's some kind of authority figure I try to take it with grace and humility while also trying to play off of whatever was complimented. If it's a friend or a loved one, I absolutely gush and turn into goo. >: Compliments get me every time.

Oh dear. I go into full blown road rage mode, and it takes me a while to calm down. I am still young, and have only been driving on my own for a short amount of time, therefore I'm still learning how to operate my stick shift vehicle. My response is usually flipping the person off and continuing down the road.

I absolutely love surprises, but being surprised with a gift makes me feel entitled to give one back. I love reviving gifts, but I have to return the favor.

3. Taking a few days away from roleplaying?

Depends on how I might be feeling on a day. When I'm really not in the mood and feeling very down in the dumps and bad about myself, I'm not online and take a lot of time for myself, but most of the time I use it as an escape from reality, writing is a coping mechanism for me.

I'm not a huge sports person, but when I hear about it I'll cheer.

I swear quietly, and pick it up.

I rapid fire apologize and get away as soon as possible.

Thankfully, I don't get late night calls, but I assume I will eventually once I start up my desired job. I still keep my phone unmuted just in case a friend in need calls me in the middle of the night, so I can answer them in time and talk to them.

Depends on how much I like the person. If I like them, I don't have an angry response, but if I don't, I'm irritated to no end.

If they need to talk, they need to talk, but it's certainly out of nowhere and I'll feel slightly uncomfortable, but listen either way.

I tend to deny most, but I've been getting better at responding to them appropriately.

I wouldn't really care. I don't exactly have my official license yet, just a permit.

A cordial thank you usually gets my point across. I'm not one of those emotional types of people.

I do this quite constantly due to my brain not having any good ideas, so I just sit back and wait for any kind of motivation to bring me back.

I'm not a sports person, but if they win, great! More rep for us, I guess...

I don't make a big deal out of it, but when I'm in public, I do have a tendency to flip my lid.

You fool. You absolute buffoon. You think you can challenge me in my own realm? You think you can rebel against my authority? You dare come into my house and upturn my dining chairs and spill coffee grounds in my Keurig? You thought you were safe in your chain mail armor behind that screen of yours. I will take these laminate wood floor boards and destroy you! I didn’t want war, but I didn’t start it!

I have trouble getting to sleep, so usually I just turn my phone off, that way my peaceful slumber won't be interrupted by the night dwellers.

I will give them flac for it, gently, depending on just how late they were. I am ALWAYS on time, and or early to wherever I need to be. Just one minute over and it's the end for you!!

I'll listen, but if they drag on too long, I'll revert to just saying "oh, really? Wow. Nice, very cool...". Most of the time I give the benefit of the doubt.

Compliments are the backbone of my motivation. If I receive good word, then I'll be energized for practically the entire day. A...verbal energy drink, if you will.

I don't drive, but I do shout when cars don't respect the traffic light, specially at pedestrians crossing.

It makes me frustrated, I deal daily with a person that surprises gift the hell out of me but expects to get surprises gift in return, it just ruined the whole deal for me.

If it's random objects that survive the fall then I guess it's alright, dropping food is bad thou, it makes me sad. Specially if it's late at night and there's no replacement.

Most of the times I apologize even if it's not my fault.

I don't remember the last time my cellphone rang and I actually saw it.

Please don't, it makes me really angry. I can tolerate 15, even 20 minutes but I have friends that manage to be hours late, this drives me up the walls.

Yay! That was fun for me to read. Yeah, those kind of reactions are what I was picturing. It's so funny what people will say to themselves in a car.

And that's...probably the case. It's kind of sensitive and triggers on the area close to the wheel itself, not the dead center area.

I never willingly take a few days away, and I slowly lose my mind when I do.

I usually manage to catch it in a spectacular manner. Even knives. I am in no way coordinated though, I drop things all the time, I'm just really good at catching them.

I enjoyed reading your answers. I'm working my way down the responses. This is exactly what I needed since I am on a break; I needed a fix. As usual, you guys and gals are such interesting people.

I have a friend that goes full road rage too. But she's worse, sometimes she will follow people who cut her off or honk at her really closely to freak them out...and one of those times someone started following her back for a while. Yikes! But yeah, flipping people off is not all that unusual from what I've seen. Lol

Considering I don't drive, I don't get angry, but I definitely have a "????? dude chill" type attitude from the passenger's seat lol

Lots of awkward thank yous, I'm bad at accepting gifts lol. But I rarely get random gifts anyway so not a big deal I suppose.

Considering my current RP schedule is replying once every 1-2 weeks, this doesn't much apply to me lol

My sister calls a lot for every little thing and my mom and I have gotten into the habit of not answering and yelling "Kay's calling, I'm taking a nap if she asks!" to each other lmao
If it's like late at night then it goes to my mom for emergency purposes considering I can't drive and am therefore useless lol

Depends on the context tbh. If it's not very late and/or to a minor thing, then whatever, but if it's important, I'm going to be sassily bitter about it to my mom via sarcasm lol

Listening until I can get an excuse to go "Yeaaaah, I gotta gooooo," or would probably text my mom to call me with some fake emergency lol

Oh, boy. I'm sort of, well, notorious among friends and family for my temper. Specifically, my road rage. If somebody honks at me, it means I'm going to honk back. And curse. And probably give them the finger, if I get the chance. I've really tried to get better about it, because -- all laughter aside -- people can be dangerous, and I don't know who's got a gun or a worse temper than me. I would never hurt someone; I might yell and slam my horn, but I'm more hot air than anything else. Unfortunately, some people are violent. So, I try to keep my cool but I'll mutter under my breath or even exclaim loudly, usually while my passengers chuckle. For some reason, people find it funny when I get worked up in the car, lmao.

Love it. I try to do it for others, too. Whether it's a note, or a small present -- I like to surprise my mom with flowers, too, when she doesn't expect it. I love it, too.

I hate it, but it has to happen sometimes, I'm doing a lot outside this site, just like everybody else. But I definitely need a creative outlet. I don't know if it's the right word, but if I'm not writing, or creating, or something...I get antsy. I feel pent-up with emotion and creative energy and it always needs a way to express itself. I like to make regular time for RP to keep my writing skills sharp, and to keep that angst at bay.

Don't care, lol. I like our hockey team, and I enjoy going to a game every now and again. My family loves football, and I've always been looked at like an alien for rolling my eyes at it.

Swear. Sometimes mutter something incoherent under my breath, sometimes make a random noise if I'm having a particularly bad day where everything is going wrong.

It depends if it was actually an accident or not, lol. I'm very polite, I always say "excuse me" when passing others, but if someone bumps into me, I'll usually smile and say "that's all right" or "pardon me" or something like that. But if I can tell they're just being rude...lol. I'll raise my eyebrows, give them the death glare...and usually mutter "excuse me" sarcastically. Kinda like the road rage, but way more tame, lol. I promise I'm a nice person.

My phone is literally always on silent, lol. If I know someone I'm close to is struggling, I'll purposely turn it on at night in case they need to get a hold of me...but in general, I don't want anyone contacting me while I'm asleep. Because if you woke me up for something goofy, I'm gonna be a grizzly bear.

8. Someone being late?

I get frustrated. I'm on time for everything (on time has always meant early in my family -- someone once told me, "if you're early, you're on time, if you're on time, you're late -- and if you're late, don't bother showing up" and that's been like a little mantra for me since about age 12, lol. I'm not a very patient person, but I usually give others the benefit of the doubt and laugh at my own strict upbringing.

Depends. If they're creepy/the attention is unwelcome, I find a way out of it. But if they're engaging and not trying to pull something over on me, I'll listen. I love meeting new people, but I am shy and sometimes I feel extremely reserved. But I'm always polite and I'm an attentive listener, so I would also be inclined to give them my attention and hear about what they have to share.

I blush. Always. And then immediately find a way to give a compliment back.
