So I've been meaning to get into MMD for a long while now, and (as soon as this bloody update on my computer wants to finish) I plan on bucking down on it and getting started.
I'm ready for the commitment that it takes and I can't wait to spend hours perfecting it. I just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else had some tips and tricks for a noob like me that might make my experience a little easier?
Things I need desperate help on:
How to create my own model from scratch without getting pissed at the program.
How to easily control the camera
And everything really.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don’t have much advice for you sadly but I used to be into it a few years ago so maybe I can remember something of use.
Do you mean how to build your own model out of parts or how to create a model entirely original to you (which is a whole other can of worms)? The general gist of building from parts is franksteining them together and deleting unneeded polygons using the editor controls - which I’ve long forgotten. There’s MMD and then there’s the sister programs you edit models with: PMD and PMX Editor (they have some differences but I was told PMXE is generally superior).
Try visiting LearnMMD.com, it’s got a lot of tutorials but keep in mind it’s fanmade and it’s like a lot of resources out there where some of the information is very...word-of-mouth since much of MMD’s inner workings are a black box to us English speakers.
