Hi RPR! ❤
It's been quite some time; I believe over two years? Something like that. Anyway, I'm hoping to return and make some friends here, so I'm going to start off by opening up this little thread for some free character/ landscape sketches. :>
Please post your references below, and I'll consider a quick little sketch when I have a moment. If I choose to draw your character, I'll let you know! Please don't hassle me or expect me to draw a certain way; these are free so I'm offering them simply for my own enjoyment. Thanks so much everyone for your interest! As of now, I'll no longer be taking new requests.
And just for a conversation starter - if you had to choose one medium to make artwork in for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Why?

Hi, nice of you.
If you'd like to, feel free to draw my villan, Jude.
He usually wears black or brown animal skins and a leather belt holding a shealthed sword, with black leather boots that rise to the knee. He could, if you like, have a dagger in his hand.
He is a werewolf cult leader who believes humans should be overthown. He was subject to rigorous training and abuse as a child and brainwashed with one goal, to be alpha of all the packs. I just tell you that to give you an idea of what's behind his expression.
His face claim is Joaquin Phoenix.
Of course, do any part you want or can...no complaints here. This is free after all. Thanks.

Despite drawing other’s characters, I’ve never actually drawn any of mine so- if you are willing to draw Cyrene here I will love you to death haha (Though, I hope the pictures from pintrest would be enough;
I imagine that she would look around late 20’s to mid 30’s-ish? Sort of short, with a young-ish appearance but with a stern expression.
Also, if I have to choose only one medium it has to be watercolours- I can even do without pencils, watercolours all the way. I just find it very easy compared to other things like oil or pencil or things like sculpting I guess; it just comes easily to me and the sense of freedom when playing around with watercolours is very nice as well

Which one? Alice or Nathan. Alice would be around the 17-20 range, Nathan would be 23-25 looking? Again thanks so much and which one are you doing? Im very excited.
Heyo, welcome back! Thank you for the opportunity, I really appreciate some free art every now and then.
Welp, I'm not an artist, can't even draw the human figure on paper, although it's my dream to become a "decent" artist one day. Although, if I ever follow a 'path' with art, it would be traditional, specially oil paintings. I'm the kind of person that, despite my art being bad, I end up being proud of what I've done, and I don't think there's something comparable to the satisfaction of looking into a finished piece on a canvas, regardless of what it may be.
Anyhow, I've got two peeps I'm looking for drawings at the moment. That would be Ilia (pictures I, II, III, IV) or Captain Wannabes. Neither works, whichever you like the most! Again, thanks for the opportunity and I hope you have an excellent day!

I didn't focus very much on details but the gothic clothing was very fun to scribble, I hope you like it!
I adore art, https://www.rprepository.com/site.php?char=98270 I'd love to see some art of either of my mages?
Medium? I tend to draw with a pencil and then digitally colour so I guess if I had to pick one, i'd settle with pencil forever more.
I mean i'd just have to get better lol.
also, that's a scribble!??? WOWZA WHAT?

I really should sit down and play with watercolours more! I'm more of an oil painter myself and I find watercolours too... fragile, if you know what I mean, haha. I quite often like to start dark and work light, so oils suit me a lot more. I really ought to give them another chance though.

I absolutely feel you on the oil paint - it's my favourite medium (I'd probably choose it too because of how diverse it is) followed closely by pyrography. I don't personally think any art is 'bad', though - it's an entire spectrum of ability and style; a subjective one, at that! We're our own worst critics in the end.

OMG THIS IS NOT A SCRIBBLE ITS BEYOND ANYTHING I COULD HAVE IMAGINED I LOVE IT.
SORRY
I turned caps off.
Also lol @monkfish similer reactions huh.
I would love some art of Summer by someone who's art sucks less than mine.
Can you draw Colin, please? I always enjoy seeing how people imagine his scars and/or uniform.
Also, as for art, I don't know. Art's a broad category, so if we're narrowing it down to illustration, then I guess pencil. I don't draw, I doodle.

;o; any chance I could interest you in doodling my Odette? I only have one ref for her, but there's a lil desc, basically this but less makeup! (she's 15)
Odette's appearance blatantly reflects her pedigree. Her posture is precise, her features are uncannily symmetrical. Angled eyebrows slant over deep brown narrow eyes, nose short and slightly upturned, all framed on an oval face and curtained by glossy spider-black hair. What makeup she wears is minimal and appropriate for her age. She is thin, willowy, with awfully pale skin.
writing is art, right? I'd always want to be a writer
