I want to make photos of my characters but I don't know what I can do to create them. Any ideas?
Unless you want to draw them yourself, it's best to find images that match their descriptions - or describe them based on images you find of other characters on the internet. Are you not sure where to look to find avatars?
You can also commission artists to draw them for you.

A website that is very useful to create 'unique' faces is Morphthing, it's okay to use the images from this site as references!

Thanks, I made something on Morphthing but how do I bring the image here?
You can save the image you made on Morphthing. Do you want to use it as an avatar (small size) or upload the full image into your character's gallery?
Full image. I morphed it but what do I fo next?
1. Go to your Dashboard and click the pencil icon next to your character's name.
2. Click on Character's Public Profile
3. Look to the bottom right of the screen and click on the gear in the white area. From the menu, drag and drop the Gallery widget to your page.
4. Click the pencil in the Gallery widget to edit it. Click Add an image, click Choose file, browse to where you saved the image, then click Upload Image.
Once you did that you can give the image a title and description, then save the widget!
Sorry if the description is unnecessarily detailed, but I don't know how much you've done around the site already, so I figured a little detail wouldn't hurt!

I'm talking about how I get the image from the Morphthing site to my files. I know how to upload images from my computer, I just don't know how to get the image from Morphthing.
Does right clicking on the image and selecting "Save image as" work for you? I am not familiar with Morphthing.
Thanks, I got the image but for some reason it is too big for it to be my profile pic. What should I do?
Use any image editing program to resize it. If you're on windows 7, you probably have PhotoGallery installed by default. Here is a link to a tutorial for that program: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2375090,00.asp
Thank you, I managed to solve my problem. BTW is there a way to use on the computer a program that has models and you change their appearance?
Probably, but I don't know of a free one if you're talking about a 3D model.
I think a lot of people like to use online "doll maker" programs to make a basic cartoon of their character concept. I've also see people use the character creator in the game Sims 3 and then take screenshots, to create unique looking custom faces.

Do you know any free "doll maker" programs?
I see a lot of folks using www.dolldivine.com/, though I've never used it myself.
I personally fiddle around with tektek.org's dream avatar maker (it's specifically for Gaia Online items, but I find it useful in picking up attire ideas) and a little Photoshop magic.

I made an avatar on tektek. Thanks
