I mean characters. Heh.
Do you daydream about characters at work or wherever occasionally? Which ones and what kind of scenes?
Me: usually David, Jacob, or Jude.
1. Usually whatever they're going through (how to get them out of it)
2. Also.....yep...romance! Usually some emotional thing that leads to feelings of closeness, but sometimes just simple attraction.
3. Scenes to increase drama to try to suck the other person into their role and give them lots of satisfaction.
I do at work and tend to distract myself (oops) but that is only because I am writing and RPer so I think of different scenarios for each character they could face.
It varies since I have a handful but most of the examples are:
Kamira having an artifact to defeat the Lord of Darkness, ultimately ending in sacrifice as the shard took all of her Light and life.
Twilra almost dying due to a disease in Skyrim but resurrected by having a Dragon soul down into her. The dragon and she tend to fight over control of her own body.
Or Agent Hawaii trying to bring a child home although hunted by ONI officials due to her past.
Yeah. It is nice to think about scenarios. I find it interesting.

this is a perfect post for me to weigh in on if you don't mind.
As some of you might know already, and others not, I am a truck driver. This entails a maximum of 11 hours of actual physical drive time, not including the up to 3 hours of not driving time I am also sometimes working per day. That's a lot of time for daydreaming. Not that I'm not paying attention to the road, mind you, but it is possible to think and drive at the same time
My Voldarian race which some people may be tired of hearing about at this point was made almost exclusively during 3 years of driving. The Lumni, the Piniri, the Aryquin, Zyrth, Vorheen, and many more....all created behind the wheel. Siira, and Pix...basically everyone was created in this way.
so my answer to you, abigail, is literally everyone on my character list as well as many more characters, races, planets, plots, etc are something I think about.
I confess this started out behind the wheel, and now I find that I live in my fantasy world(s). It has reached a point now where it has all consumed me, even before rpr when I returned to roleplaying. Now that I am here I am thinking of new ways to roleplay as well as write stories.
I guess I've become a dreamer again....no regrets........
edit: sorry if I messed this up, I might have gone a little off topic on this? I can change or remove this if you'd like

Of course you haven't gone off topic! This is exactly what I was asking about. That's interesting, Vol. I like Pix a lot--she's cool. Even though I'm not consistent on that forum Star Trek thing I started, because I've got all the PM ones to think about, I do enjoy it and your floating pixie-like gal. She's cuuuuute! I can tell you're a science fiction guy at heart and more power to you. Long as it's a positive for you I say great. And thanks for getting the stuff where we all need it to go.

I usually daydream about Hoozuki or Kyoraku really, imagining them stuck in weird, weird situations and how they are going to get out of it with the least amount of trouble. Sometimes if I don’t have the imagination to imagine one of the more ‘original’ plots then I would just throw them in the common fanfiction tropes (?prompts?idea?setting?) and have them go to Hogwarts, teach there, put them in the common cliche settings (coffee shop, librarian, school teacher etc etc), get transported around the universe, that ‘what-if’ scenario if Kyoraku never actually grow up the way he is or ‘how much would change if Hoozuki had black hair instead of white hair- turns out, a lot’, or ‘how different things would be if Kano never made the big decision to swear loyalty to Inari- not much actually’
I daydream less about other characters and more about plot or story ideas. Things I can do to said characters, usually bordering on a sense of sadism. I like to make my creations struggle and suffer in the name of story. I enjoy doing the same to other people's characters as far as they'll let me.

This excites me. I'm daydreaming about whats in store for our plots now.
