The werewolves upstairs were frantic when they heard that there was someone nearby looking for them. They were trying to figure out what to do with the last of the werewolf family they had been keeping in the basement. The woman would be dead very soon, leaving only the werewolf girl to deal with.
"Fan ... bhfolach...mo Galena." Stay...hidden...my Galena The woman said weakly. She was laying on the cold stone ground, her thin frail form shuddering. A small girl sat beside her mother, sobbing. She watched the life fade from her mother, her body becoming still.
"M-momma?" Galena sniffed and touched her dead mother before sobbing even louder. She was all alone. Her father had died almost a week earlier for he had starved himself to feed Galena and her mother and now her mother had done the same to keep Galena alive. Now all that was left was 6 year-old Galena. Her body was thin from that lack of food, her long brown hair and body were covered in dirt as well as her torn up clothes. Her collar was dirty as well as she gripped it, sobbing.

Garret was sitting deadly still in the bushes across the house. He was glad that it was located in a clearing, it gave him the easiest cover he could possibly get. The bow in his hand was now resting horizontally on his knee, an arrow resting in the other. One of the man was out on the porch. Whereas any man would've spotted the member of the order of the green arrow, Garret was an expert when it came to hiding in the most obvious of places. As long as he'd stay still, he should be fine.
The man's head suddenly turned sidewards, to an area about 45 degrees away from Garret. The archer smiled. His trap had been triggered. He quickly moved his arm and brought his bow into position. The arrow was quickly in place and in one fluent movement, he pulled back, aimed and released all in a fraction of a second. Before the man was done searching for what had initially gotten his attention, the arrow dove straight into his heart. he screamed as he fell down, immediately dead.
Garret could've gone for the vocal cords, and cut off his scream, but he wanted the others to come out and investigate. It'd be way easier. He just hoped they were as stupid as she thought them to be...

The other two heard the scream and ran outside. They looked around, their eyes turning yellow as they tried to locate the attacker.
Galena heard the scream and crawled over to the hole beneath the bed. It was small enough for her and it was too far away for anyone to reach her. She laid there, still sobbing as she stared at her mother's dead body.

Garret's own trained eyes noted the change in eye colour of his oponents and scowled slightly. He was glad he took the silver-tipped arrows. At least that guy outside was now dead for sure. He readied another arrow and once again performed his split second motion of drawing back, aiming and letting go, watching the arrow fly and pierce a second man's head. he then quickly moved, invisible to their eyes, to another location just in case the third might come looking for him.
The third began to panic. He started for the house, hoping it would save him.
Galena covered her mouth, scared. She didn't want to die as she tried to scoot more into the hole, trying to hide. She tried to stifle her sobs and hiccups but some noise still escaped her.

Garret responded quickly. He aimed and let go again, the arrow piercing the man's hand and pinning him to the wall next to the door. If he wanted to free himself, he'd have to slide his hand all the way across the wodden shaft, for the arrow had buried itself deep into the wood. Garret slung the bow back over his shoulder and drew a long knife as he approached him, just to be sure.
The man sensed him and paniked more. He tugged at his hand, wincing.
Galena whimpered as the acent of blood reached her. She cringed and began to shake.

Garret pushed the man down on his knees, automatically torturing him thanks to the arrow in his hand. "Where are they." His rough, seemingly uncared for face glared at him and the dark eyes bore into the man's.
"I don't know who your talking about!" The werewolf said, freaking out. He didn't want to be killed yet so he tried to get by by lying, hoping the man torchuring him would stop.
Garret pulled his hand down and held it down. "I can keep pulling until the arrow pops out of the wood again, if you want." he pulled again to demonstrate it. "But it will definitely hurt. Your choice."
"Okay, okay. In the basement. But your too late. The child is the last one and she's already starting to die." The werewolf smirked." The gril dies and my job is done." He reached for his back pocket.
Garret didn't allow him to reach for it. He cut the man's throat and pulled the arrow back from his hand. His face softened again. "May the earth take you back and the spirits guide you." he muttered. The man was dead after all, he'd payed for his sins.
Garret moved downstairs and forced the door open. He lit a couple torches and sat down at the entrance of the room with his legs crossed. He closed his eyes and layed his hands in his lap. He then spoke with a soft and gentle voice: "Má tá tú ann, is féidir leat teacht amach. Tá mé do chara. Tá tú sábháilte a dhéanamh liom."
(I know I said I wasn't going to have him speak Irish, but I changed that :')

Galena blinked and swallowed. She was a little scared as she silently scooted out from beneath the bed. She watched him a moment as she was still halfway under the bed." Conas is féidir liom miunín agat? Níl a fhios agam agat nó bhfuil tú ag feiceáil roimh." She said in her waek voice.

Garret smiled. he didn't open his eyes yet as he spoke, a gentle tone remaining in his voice and his smile warm and welcoming. "Ní féidir leat. Ach tá a fhios go bhfuil mé anseo chun cabhrú leat." He then reached behind him into his backpack, and took out an apple, placing it out in front of him. He shoved it forward so it lay about two meters away from him, then returned to his original spot. "Ní féidir leat. Ach tá a fhios go bhfuil mé anseo chun cabhrú leat."
Galena blinked before slowly climbing out from beneath the bed. She stood up, barely managing to stay on her feet. She stumbled over to the apple and sat down, unable to keep standing. She picked up the apple and sniffed at it before taking a bit out of it, being cautious. She watched him." Cén fáth a bhfuil tú ag cuidiú liom? D'fhéadfá a fháil a maraíodh."
(as you may have read already, i'm having pc issues. translating on psp from irish is apparently impossible, so my replies on here will be slower than the others I hope you don't mind.)
(Lol I saw. She said " Why are you helping me? You could get killed." Hope you get a new PC soon.)
Garret smiled and shook his head. "Eagla mé aon bhás, do bhí sé an bhean na foraoise féin a chuir mé anseo." his words were sincere. he trusted that his godess would never send her to places where his life would be in danger. Only he himself could do that.
Galena looked up and tilted her head." Who is the lady of the forest" Galena said in English.
Garret smiled. So she was comfortable enough to tread outside the safe zone of her own tongue. "The lady of the Forest, Finihuga, is the godess of Woodland Vale - the place I come from." he replied.
