Sweaty bodies pressed together in the club as they all danced to the sick beat that Tech was laying out for them. She had been here longer then usual, expecually on a school night. Who cares? Not me, or my parents. she though as she banged her head in midair to the tune. Tech decided she would have some fun tonight, so she hoped off the stage and gave the regular DJ the mike. Tech was outfitted in a ripped t-shirt and some army cargo pants, but she fit right in with the crowed of misfits in the club. She positioned herself in the middle of the dance floor, with all eyes on her, and danced like there was no tomorrow. As she was dancing a red aura filled the air around her, invisible to mundane eyes.
Hazuki slid through the back door when no one was looking. 'Too easy' she thought as she tiptoed to the croud. When she saw that they were all crouded around something. She tried to stand on her tiptoes but, being the short girl she was, she wasnt able too see what they were all crouded around at when she tried to inch her way in, one boy pushed her over. Hazuki let out a cry when she hit the floor, but she knew no one could hear her over the music.
Tech soon got tired and left the circle with much applause. She was headed towards the bar when she almost stepped on a young girl laying on the floor. "Want some help up?" She called over the blaring music, holding her hand out. Techs hair was plastered to her face from the sweat that she worked up dancing, but she still had her headphones on despite the wetness.
Hazuki nodded and reached up, taking her hand. "Thanks" She yelled, noting the sweat that covered her.
Tech hauled her up. "I'm Tech, Want a drink?" Tech asked walking to the bar and sitting on a stool.
Hazuki followed her, sitting on the stool next to her. "Um... Just water please. And I'm Hazuki."
Tech called the bartender over. "I'll have a beer, and Hazuki will have a water." She said to the tender. Tech turned to Hazuki. "So why you here this late in the middle of the week." She asked.
Hazuki thought about this for a moment before answering. "Well, I heard a couple of people talking about this club, so I wanted to see what it was about."
"Cool, I'm here almost every night. I DJ for money to take care of my family" she said just as the tender brought them their drinks. Tech took a swig of her drink and stood up. "Well I'm going back to the dance floor." She stated starting off towards the other dancers. "Have fun, and don't get in trouble." She said over her shoulder.
Tech reached the middle of the floor and everybody moved to give her room. "Pump up the beat" Tech yelled to the DJ. Suddenly the music reached a new level. "That's what I'm talking about!!!" She yelled as she closed her eyes and danced like there was tomorrow. Different colored sparks erupted from her body as she danced, invisible to mundane eyes, but not to supernatural beings.
Hazuki's eyes widened as she watched Tech dance. Seeing the sarks erupt from her body made her gasp in suprise. "Amazing." she said under her breath. Curiosity struck her as she watched the sparks.
The sparks grew larger and larger as the song reached the climax. Tech was sweating so much, that her hair and clothes stuck to her body. Suddenly all chaos broke loose when the back of the club exploded, and out came some men in weird gear. "Find her and bring her in alive." one guy shouted over the dying music to his companions. They glanced at the crowed, and their eyes fixed on Tech. "There she is!! Get her!" They yelled charging towards Tech.
Hazuki gasped when the men came through the wall. When their eyes landed on tech, she had a bad feeling. 'I picked the wrong day to come here.' she thought as she got up from her seat.
The club was in chaos now.Everybody was headed to an exit except Tech. She immediately took her favorite dagger out of her boots. Tech braced herself as the first wave of men came at her waving their guns and daggers. With a few quick thrusts, half of the first wave was dead. Suddenly a searing pain in her left arm caused her to turn around, swinging her dagger in a wide arc and slicing the head off another guy, creating a fountain of blood from the guys neck. Tech tried to pull the dagger out, but there was no time. The second wave had already started coming.
Hazuki's stomach turned as she saw the men get killed. She stared to inch towards the door, but was pushed down once again. She couldnt tell if it was someone that was trying to get out or in to the club. She shrunk back in the corner helplessly as she watched the chaos unfold before her.
Tech had cuts all over now, but the men kept coming. She was getting really tired. Tech saw Hazuki get pushed down and that was the last straw. She screamed and the whole foundation where the men were standing broke apart into a large fissure. Fire was shooting out of the fissure, engulfing the men that were trying to escape. Once all the guys were swallowed up, the fissure closed and Tech turned and smiled at Hazuki, who was still in the corner, awestruck. She took a step toward Hazuki but fell to the ground unconscious, breaking her favorite pair of headphones.
Hazuki stared at Tech's motionless body in panic. For a moment, her mind wasn't working. Finally, she took action, dragging Tech out the back door of the club. She could hear more of the men yelling in the distance, and dragged Tech behind the dumpster. After she was sure they were gone, she dragged Tech back towards her house. Once there, she made sure that her parents were still asleep before taking her upstairs to her room. She layed her on her bed, still panicked.
Tech's phone suddenly started ringing, it had fallen out when Hazuki had put her on the bed. It was playing a lovely song as the ringtone.
