"Honestly? No clue." Tech said through a strained voice to keep from screaming. "Do you or your parents have a car?" She asked wincing as Hazuki wrapped her arm.
"Yeah, why?" SHe had finished wrapping the wounds up and was putting back all the supplies into the first aid kit box.
"I'm going to need to go to the hospital to get my leg checked out, and the cut on my arm." In the process of beating the guys, one of them managed to get a hold of her leg and break it. Tech checked her pocket for her wallet. After making sure she had her driving licence she turned back to Hazuki.
"Um, okay. But I should probibly go with." She walked to her door and stuck her head out. "My parents are asleep, so we should be good to go. We just have to be quiet."
"Ok do you want to drive or me?" Tech asked quietly as she re-adjusted her jacket and checked to see if Jennine was still on the phone.
"Are you sure you are good to drive with your leg all... broken?" Hazuki asked looking down at sid leg.
"Good point. You better drive." Tech said nodding and following Hazuki.
Hazuki slowly opened the back door to the house. Before she went out, she grabbed the keys in a basket near the door, and headed out, leaving the door open for Tech.
Tech followed Hazuki silently to the car. Every once and a while she would hear a small rustling sound, but took no notice after the first few times. "When we get to the hospital, you can either stay or leave. But beware, I might have to call my parents." she said scowling when she said parents.
Hazuki blinked, notcicng her reaction. "Um, whould you rather not call your parents. Mine don't wake up until late, so its okay if I stay."
Tech sighed. "Thanks. You probably won't like my parents when they arrive..." she said. "The hospital won't just let two sixteen year old girls in without contacting their parents." she added climbing in carefully and buckling her seat belt. "Don't want to be any more banged up." Tech winked at Hazuki then rested her head on the window.
"Alright." She slid into the drivers seat, buckling her seatbelt also and started the car. Once they were on the road, she started to relax a little more. "So, um... who was that girl on the phone?"
Tech smiled. "That was my sister. One of the only people I actually love in this world." she said as they neared the hospital. Hazuki lived really close to it.
"She seemed worried about you." Hazuki pulled into the parking lot and parked in a spot close to the hospital. "You need any help getting out?"
Tech unbuckled her seat belt and tried to move her broken leg. No success. "Yes." she said ashamed of her own weakness.
Hazuki got out of the car and walked over to the other side of the car. She bent down to Tech's level and put Tech's arm over she shoulder. Lifting her up, she started to walk towards the hospital doors.
Jennine listened to their conversation. It seemed like Tech was ok, and they were going to the hospital to fix up the parts of her that weren't ok. She'd have to insist on going with her parents when they went to the hospital. Hopefully they wouldn't ask what she was doing still awake.
Tech grimaced. The pain in her body was tremendous. Every step she took felt like a mile. Tech looked over at Hazuki and smiled. At least I have a friend. As they approached the front doors a nurse with awhile chair came bursting through the door. They must have seen the odd pair wobbling towards the door. Tech refused to leave Hazuki when the nurse tried to wheel her away. "I don't care how serious my cuts are, I'm NOT leaving Hazuki." She said grabbing Hazuki's wrist and dragging her along with her.
Hazuki stumbled to keep up. "Gah! O-okay!" she tried to keep pace with the nurse that was going what felt like 30 miles per hour.
When they finally found an empty room the nurse asked Tech for her parents number. "And all hell is revealed." Tech said just barley loud enough for Hazuki to hear as she gave the nurse her house number.
