Hazuki steped back in in suprise and an attempt to save her ear drums from the loud noise that issued from Tech's mother. "I-I'm H-H-Hazuki Miss." She sputtered. "I-I"m one of T-tech's friends!"

"Well if your one of Tech's so-called "friends" then-" Techs mother started to yell getting louder until her father put a hand on her shoulder and steered her out of the room."
"I'm very disappointed in you Tech. You need to stop begging for attention by getting yourself into trouble and getting hurt." he started "Your mother and I don't have enough money to keep taking care of your mishaps all the time." he said, his voice slightly rising.
Tech leaned her head on Jennine's shoulder and started sobbing quietly.

After recovering from the scolding she got, Hazuki raised a questioning eyebrow. 'All the time? So this has happened before?' She thought to herself as they left the room. She turned back to Tech and walked over to her bed.

Tech looked up at Hazuki, glad to have a friend at this time. "Sorry you had to witness that." she said laughing slightly. The doctors informed Tech that her parents had given their consent to put a cast on her leg. Tech sighed in relief and grabbed Hazuki's hand once again.

Hazuki smiled in return, but her face immiditly turned serious. "What did your parents mean by 'All the time'? Has this happened before? I don't mean to push, but if this has happened more then once..." She trailed off

"Yes..." she said timidly. "I've been in 2 car accidents, suspended 5 times from school, expelled twice, and broken my arm once." she said looking away from Hazuki ad staring at the ceiling while the doctors came in the room with the plaster. "You two have to step outside now." the doctors exclaimed as they wheeled the cart in.

Hazuki gave a cautious look at Tech before squeezing her hand in reassurance. "We'll talk later, kay?" She let go of her hand and waved as she left, letting Jennine walk out before her and closed the door.

Tech practically screamed as they put the cast on her leg. They gave her pain killers but they didn't work very well. When they were done they let Hazuki back in, Jennine was asleep in one of the chairs. Tech was so exhausted that she didn't notice Hazuki come in until she grabbed her hand.

"Hey, how you feeling?" She asked, concerned about all the screaming she heard.

Jennine hadn't wanted to leave Tech in the room by herself but she had to trust the doctors to make her better. She hadn't slept all day and it was late at night, the lack of sleep had caught up with her and she was asleep in the chair before she knew it.

"Better then I was." she said tiredly as her phone binged. She checked her cell phone and saw that she had received a text from her mom. Mom: We aren't coming back to pick you or your sister up. Find somewhere to crash. The message simply said. "Geez, their such lovely parents aren't they?" Tech exclaimed to nobody in particular.

Jennine woke at the sound of voices talking. She sat up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She looked around. "Mom and Dad leave?"

Hazuki's jaw dropped to the floor. "They just LEFT you here?! AND you sister?!" Hazuki stood in shock as she read the text.

"At least they notified me time. Last time I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days until I got the clue that they weren't picking me or Jennine up..." Tech said shrugging. "Hey Jennine, you can come in now." She called out to Jennine, who was still sitting in the hallway.

Hazuki sighed. "Well, of you need a place to crash, my place is always open." Hazuki suggested.

Jennine walked in the door as Hazuki offered her own home as a place to stay. She turned to Tech. "Oh could we pleeease??? It could be like a slumber party!" Her face broke out into a wide grin.

Hazuki smiled at Jennine's reaction. "Of course, I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind."

Tech couldn't help but smile too. "O-Kay." She sighed trying to sound like she didnt really care, but failing miserably. "Thanks Hazuki. You have been a best friend even though you didn't even know me at first." She said hugging Hazuki. "Get in here runt." Tech called to Jennine holding out her free arm for Jennine.

Jennine ran into the hug giggling. "Thanks Hazuki!!"

Hazuki smiled at the sweet sight. "No problem."
