Lord Nightbane walked down the streets of a local village, it's stone streets crowded and loud as it was market day. there were many little alleys off to each side, each containing groupings of people who were either unable to work or unwilling. The village was built from stone and held a good number of people. The people smiled and greeted the lord happily, his control one of friendship with his people.

Dimitri looked down the alleys and frowned. He quickly bought a large amount of fruit and got people to help distribute it to the homeless, personally handing out the fruit to some "I want each of these people to get food." He looked over each person and smiled, some of them had served with his father and him and he made sure them and their families were taken care of "Tell me of any new homeless please." He said to one of the helpers.";

Faith was hiding inside an old crate. Her parents had left the city and had not cared to take her with them . The small five year old girl was very shy, and had a hard time trusting people. So when one of the helpers moved to close to her she backed up away from them, but not before snatching the apple out of there hand hungrily.

Dimitri blinked "Move from her." He walked over toward her "Hello little one, where are your parents?" He said in a gentle and kind voice, he had a soft spot for children and always had tried to protect them "I'm Dimitri." He'd say, a kind smile on his face.

Faith looked at him for a moment then said " I don't know, they left me here about a week ago" she said in a low voice.

Dimitri frowned "Come with me, I'll make sure you're taken care of." He offered out his hand "I won't let you stay out here any longer though, it isn't the safest place for a young girl." He smiled lighly.

Faith hesitated for a moment then took his hand, and crawled out from the crate. " I'm.. Faith" She said shyly.

Dimitri smiled and led her from the alley "It's nice to meet you Faith." He bought a couple more pieces of fruit and gave her one "You are a pretty little girl. You are going to be safe with me." He'd say as he led her off towards his home "The Nightbane family home is open to you as I will take care of you." He'd say as he took a bite of the apple he had.

Faith smiled as she ate her apple " Thank you" she said looking at him with her bright green eyes as she walked next to him. See seemed to have relaxed a little but still seemed a bit skittish.

Dimitri looked up at the sky "It will be a bit different than before but you're in my care now." He led her to the gate to his grounds "I hope you enjoy yourself." He said and she'd get a view of a small and well maintained castle "This is my home, now your's as I will be taking you in as my own." He smiled to her "If you're still hungry we can fix some more food for you." He'd say to her kindly.

"Wow.. " She said looking at the Castle, then at him " its nice.. Yes I am still hungry" she said with a small smile.

Dimitri hugged her lightly then led her in, there was a bustle of activity as he did, the people working in his home hadn't expected him back yet "What do you think you'd like Faith?" He'd ask lightly finishing his apple.

she looked around for a moment then replied. " um, Well i would love to have some chicken"she said " or anything really" she said licking her lips slightly.

Dimitri smiled "Chicken it is!" He'd say and look around, people moved to clean a bit, Dimitri led her into a large room with a table and pulled out a seat for her to hop up onto "I'll be back once I've got them started on some food."

" Alright" Faith said as she sat down in the chair looking around " this place it so big!" she said with a bright smile.

Dimitri smiled "It's been my family's home for generations." He went out of the room and soon returned "It's now open to you as home." He said with a smile "You're part of my family now." He'd say and put his blade down agaist one wall.

" Thats cool, and thank you.. i was beginning to think nobody cared about me" she said smiling as she brushed her fingers threw her dirty light blond hair.

Dimitri smiled to her "I care about children they're important to the future. You need something to clean your face and hands before you eat?" He'd ask lightly.

"Yes please" Faith said with a soft nod, and a soft yawn " how long till the food is here i'm kinda tired to" she said

Dimitri smiles "It'll be ready by the time I find a cloth for your face and hands." He went out and got a cloth wet to clean off her face, by the time he returned she'd see a man following him with food for them. Dimitri wiped off her face then held out the cloth for her to get her hands cleaned. He takes the food from the man with a thank you and sets down a plate in front of her then his seat "Eat as much as you like then we'll take you up to get fully clean before you sleep." He'd say with a smile.

faith smiled and cleaned off her hands before turning to the food " Thanks " she said before starting to eat happily, glad to finely have some good food.
