Nick sighed as he slowly drove down the highway. He had all he needed right here on him.
Eventually he pulled into a motel to stay the night. He was tired and it would be a bad idea to keep going so late at night. Better to sleep until morning.
He checked in and collapsed on the bed, holding his katana close in its sheath like a teddy bear.

Sebastian lays down on the branch,on his back,his arm dangling off the edge of the branch,he looks up at the moon.Not wanting to go home.

(how are they going to meet again.?)

(Idk. Should Sebastian go after him? He could probably catch him really quickly considering how fast he can move)

"LEE! LEE, GET OVER HERE! I FOUND HIM!"
Nick ran through the trees, lugging his medical gear along with him. He found his best friend on his EMT squad, Lily Vasquez, kneeling next to a man leaned on a tree, his shirt stained red with blood pouring from a bite in his neck. There were two puncture holes in his neck- looked like they had pierced an artery.
"What the hell, Vasquez?
"I've never seen a wound like this before."
"Where'd the cop go?"
"I dunno... He told me to stay here-"
A yell rang through the dark forest, followed by a gunshot and then silence.
Lily's eyes were wide in the flashlight reflected off her irises. "What was that- AAAAAAHH!" She screamed as she was lifted off her feet and into a tree- a second later, blood spattered Nick's face as he craned his neck to see what was happening.
"VASQUEZ!" he shrieked as he was roughly grabbed from behind...

"VASQUEZ!"
Nick bolted upright in bed, unsheathing his katana and swinging at nothing. "Lily..."

his eyes shade back to blue.
Figures he'll have to go home eventually,might as well make it now.
He jumps out of the tree and heads towards home. he walks through the door,and sees Ryatri asleep on the couch,but Nick nowhere to be found.Sebastian walks over to the couch and shakes Ryatri lightly to wake him up "mmm..what?" Ryatri looks up at Sebastian . "Wheres Nick?" asks Sebastian. "No idea.." says Ryatri as he rolls over and tries to go back to sleep.

Nick sat up, breathing heavily and clutching his sword so hard he could see his knuckles.
"Just... Just a bad dream, Nick... J-just a bad dream..."
He curled forward on the bed, biting back sobs. Lily... Oh, Lily...

"Great,just,great." Sebastian sighs. "I'll be back later Ryatri,"

Ryatris eyes snap open,and he sits up. "Can I come?"

"Sure,but,you do know we're going to be flying,right? ..maybe I can teach you how to use your ability to fly,rather then me carrying you half the night."

Nick huddled there for a while, regaining control of himself. Finally he stood up, rubbed his eyes, and slung his katana across his back once more.
Might as well keep going now that he was awake.

Ryatri gets off the couch,and follows me out the door. It seems Ryatri learns fast,cause it only takes me about 5 minutes to teach him to use his speed ,and fly. "Lets go." Sebastian floats into the air,staying there waiting for Ryatri. Soon enough,we begin our voyage,to find Nick,at high speeds of course.

Nick checked out of the motel and mounted his trusty steed, the motorcycle, once more. Pretty soon he was roaring off down the highway again.

(just to say some time) Sebastian and Ryatri see a guy,riding a motorcycle on the highway,they slow down their speed a bit,but they still keep up. maybe that's him

Nick was unaware of his flying stalkers. He was mostly concentrating on the road and his destination and getting there was quickly as possible.

We stay in the sky, not going down to check,cause we don't want to be responsible for a wreck.

(You just gave me a horrible idea *le grinchy smile*)

Nick paused, noticing some odd looking shadows on the road. Looked like... People?
He looked in his rearview mirror, tilting it up so he could better see the sky.
Oh God, was that-
He didn't have time to finish that thought because at that moment some crazy driver swerved in front of him, ending up bashing the front of Nick's motorcycle. Nick instinctively tried to swerve away, but he was already sort of spinning and his wheels skidded out from underneath him, sending both him and the bike flying off the road and into a river. Sadly, the motorcycle sort of landed on Nick, and he was unconscious to begin with, so now he was stuck underwater with no way to get out.
So technically it wasn't Sebastian's fault, it was the crazy car driver, but still. Bad Sebastian. Bad.

takes a second to look and watches the driver simply drive by,like nothing happened., "DESEND!" grabs Ryatris hand, and practically starts to fall bringing Ryatri down with him.

Close to the ground I use a bit of floating,so we land without dying.

and uses speed trying to keep Ryatri near, .. .we reach the river.

Nick was down at the bottom, pinned there by the motorcycle. He was still out cold, and the fact that he was now drowning wasn't helping at all. Naturally, he was trying to breathe, but instead of oxygen his lungs were met with cold water. Unfortunately he was not a fish, so he couldn't turn the oxygen in the water into something breathable.
He was going to die in the next two minutes if Sebastian didn't do something quick.

Looks at Ryatri "stay here.dont.move.I hope I know how to swim,i never bothered to try"
Sebastian jumps in,and uses his speed to reach the bottom,since it would make his oxygen last longer then it would simply swimming like a mortal..
He tries to push the motorcycle off you,the water should be helping just a bit, since things can float atleast a second in water.Sebastian tries,using every single inch of strength he has.

The motorcycle moved away obediently, not too heavy at all considering it was underwater.
Nick's chest was now heaving, desperate for some form of air. He was sucking in the water, unable to tell himself to stop and hold what little breath he had left.

Sebastian wraps his arms around you,and speeds up to the surface,almost out of air himself.
We come out of the water,and end up laying on the ground,i release you.

Nick was still and silent. True, he could get some air now, but it was still insufficient considering his lungs were pretty much filled up with water.
Hope you know CPR, Bassy.

( im not doing mouth to mouth.any other option of cpr?)

Sebastian,isn't sure what to do..
