"What's that mean? What 'kind' of vampire are you, then?"

"I dont know what you'd call it.. But lets just say..when it comes to power,skills,capability and all that junk,im a second place compared to Nixx..a close second.."

"So that means you are now one of the most powerful vampires in the world, now that Nixx's gone..." He sighed, his mind drifting in and out of awakeness again.

Sebastian looks up at the ceiling "Guess so..."

Nick was floating around now in his mind, the drugs the doctor had given him to knock out the pain kicking in. He mumbled hoarsely under his breath a song he had sung with Lily a few times before.
"Seven stars are in the sky... Six and six go equal... Five's the rambeau's in his boat... Four score's an acre... Three is a driver... Two shall be the lily of the day... a 17 year old powerful vampire.. Sebastian listens to every word of that little melody. he narrows his eyes at you. drugs must be kicking in i guess.

He sighed, twitching his nose like it itched but not having the energy to scratch it.

A nurse walks in out of the blue,a different one than earlier,
I look at her,

(No- it's from across five aprils. I just liked it and when I sang it to myself it had a pleasing tune, so I memorized it)

Nick opened an eye, looking across at the nurse as well.

(oh,okay then )
We both look at the nurse. "I overheard your conversation..." she says,even though thats not the reason she came to begin with. (duh DUH duh DUH!)

"We had a conversation? About what?" Nick asked, looking genuinely confused.

"You two believe in vampires?"
Sebastian keeps his mouth shut.

"Vampires? You must have peanut butter in your ears- weren't we talking about umpires? I thought we were talking about umpires- my bad."

"I'm not deaf" she says "I know you werent talking about umpires"

Sebastian keeps his mouth shut,his fangs may be short at times,but better not to risk it.

"Then maybe I'm going deaf... I dunno... What say you, Bassy?"

"Still seems as if your deaf." Sebastian shrugs "who believes in vampires these days anyway....?" (so says the vampire...)

The nurse says nothing.

"Besides, Bassy, if you were a vampire, wouldn't you have sucked on me now in this fragile state I'm in?" he asked before suddenly cracking up.
Oh, morphine.

Ignores the laughing "Yes,according to the legends i've heard,if i was one,i would've"

The nurse doesnt seem very convinced.

Nick just kept laughing, at least until his throat gave out on him and he was just wheezing.

Sebastian says nothing else to the nurse.

She stares at Sebastian "i still say your a vampire"
