Nick winced slightly as his chest was dealt with, the throbbing pain forcing its way into his subconscious, although it wasn't enough to wake him up again.
It was enough, however, to force a single, small tear out of the corner of his closed eye. It hurt so much, and he just wanted it to stop, to go away...
He just wanted to end the pain, that was all...

Sebastian had dealt with Nick, all the bleeding was stopped,Sebastian left the room,he was filled with regret, which was a first, probably in a very long time.
It took a long, long time, but eventually he woke up again. The hurt he felt had died down somewhat now that he had been treated for the most part, but it was still there, especially in his rib. His eyes opened and he fixed his blurred gaze on the ceiling, focusing on breathing without hurting himself any more.
It was hard since any little movement sparked a new wave of pain, but it was possible.

Sebastian sat in his bedroom upstairs, thinking, feeling regret,he wasent really used to feeling regret,he'd probably only felt it one other time in his life,he was unaware that Nick was conscious again.
The memories of what had happened that night hit him full force once again, the room triggering the memories. He lay there, letting out silent, dry, racking sobs- Sebastian had betrayed him. His best and only friend had tried to kill him, had hurt him, had bit him...
Sebastian had bit him.
The thought of it shocked him into a sad silence. Sebastian had never bit him before, never really bit him before- the nip on his finger didn't count. It hurt even worse than all the other wounds combined... Sebastian had bit him.
God, that hurt.
Sebastian had bit him.

Sebastian went from sitting on his bed to laying on his bed, deep in thought, maybe a little to deep in thought,he rolled over and he wasent aware he was near the edge of the bed,so he fell of and hit the floor. ow...
Nick jerked back as he heard something hit the roof above him, although he soon regretted that reflex. A jolt of pain shot through his neck from the site of the bite because of the sudden movement and he let out a weak yelp, breathing heavily through his teeth.
Oops.
Oops.
Sebastian sat up on the floor, shaking his head,he heard you yelp, but at this point he figured it was nothing,he probably just moved the wrong way.
He sighed, letting out his breath in a wheeze. The pain in his neck died away again and he felt the urge to curl into a hopeless little ball on the couch.
But that would probably hurt too much too. Dammit.
But that would probably hurt too much too. Dammit.
Sebastian got up off the floor, and went quietly downstairs,he peeked around a corner at you for a second then went back behind the wall that separated the living room from a hallway,
Nick was still a little too out of it to notice Sebastian's epic ninja move. On a normal day he would've caught the movement and called Sebastian out, but this was no normal day.
He took a deep breath, ignoring the pricking feeling in his side as he did so. Was there anything he could do without subjecting himself to some form of pain? Probably not. This wasn't a good day at all, was it?

Sebastian sighed silently to himself,he slid down the wall until he was sitting on the floor,he was almost considering approaching Nick, but he already knew how he would react,he would freak.
That was when he realized something else was missing from this odd equation. Reaper was gone. The sword was probably still lying in the front lawn where he had dropped it, his blood drying on the blade in the sunlight. He saw his empty sheath propped against the couch; it would be poking him in the back if he still had it on.
Yeah, this wasn't his day at all.
Yeah, this wasn't his day at all.
Strange Sebastian had that same thought. He got up and went out the back door quietly to retrieve it,since his front door had no window on it,and the others windows were closed and covered,he wouldnt be seen by Nick.
Slowly, carefully, shakily, he brought his left hand up and rubbed his face. He noticed the three gashes on his arm, now bandaged as well, but the sight of them caused him to drop his arm again-
His hand landed on his chest, since he had forgotten that it was messed up. The contact ripped a startled and pained yell from him, and he swore a blue streak in his head, fighting back many different emotions at once.
This was going to be a long, long road to recovery.

Sebastian returned quietly through the back door, closing it quietly,he was thankful the doors in his house didnt squeak. He heard Nicks yell,He walked back to where he once was in the hallway,
He paused a moment, not daring to breathe as his chest settled down again as he closed his eyes. This was horrible.
He vaguely wondered where Sebastian was, but his hurt mind quickly slapped that thought away. Who cared?! He could burn in the sunlight for all he cared!
At least, that was what Evil Nick kept screaming in his mind. Nick himself, despite the innate fear he now had towards Sebastian, also had the protective friend instinct and dim as it was, it was still there, and he had a slim desire to find him.
That desire was overruled by the better half of his mind and body, however. It would take a lot of time for him to trust Sebastian again, and it sure wouldn't happen overnight, especially if the two never laid eyes on each other again.

Sebastian looked at the blade on Reaper,he took a deep breath,it was taking alot of courage for him to do this, knowing how Nick would react, even if he planned to do nothing bad,He used his speed and went and layed Reaper beside nick on the couch and left the room faster than a blink of an eye, yeah,he failed,he didnt want to be there, regret and all still lurked all inside him.
Nick could barely follow Sebastian's movement, although he felt his presence in the room. He stiffened up momentarily before blinking and realizing he was gone... Gone.
In his place was the sword he loved so dearly, stained with his own blood. How ironic.
It took some effort, but he moved his hand over and picked the weapon up. With his other he tugged his bandana off, wincing against the sting in his neck, and shakily started to wipe the blade down as he always did, the sword singing sadly at his touch. It was hard since his hands were shaking badly and he didn't have enough strength to wipe the bigger splotches off, but it was his duty to care for his sword, and that was what he did.
It wasn't Reaper's fault, after all.

Sebastians heartbeat had fastened he wasent even in that room for a second, and he slid back down the wall to sit on the floor,so much regret, yet so much wonder in this all.
