{ sorry, this is being taken down since i don’t want any trouble for ranting a bit. Sorry. }
Lol! For as long as I’ve been role playing online, there has been ghosts. It happens. I was even sort of guilty of it myself a couple times.
If I’m heavily invested in the rp, i usually just take the story and write an end to it myself.
I do get what you mean when they weren’t anon andvtgeybarr carrying on elsewhere without do much as as a peep. But everyone is free to be how they are. Sorry you’re feeling bad. Maybe a little less passive-aggressiveness will help.

I mean I understand how you feel about ghosts but somethings happen in peoples lives where sometimes people can't answer back at all or something like that. It's not that they probably don't like you,just sometimes ghosts have reasons.
Yeah, maaaybe it would help. But since it’s happened to me 12 times. Since the start of March. My sanity was gone at that moment... haha.. 😐

No I get that. It’s my best guess when they aren’t online. I’m talking more about the ones that stay, online. They just didn’t wanna rp with you
Yeah, I know that sucks really bad but it's okay they probably weren't worth your time.
I have had this happen to me numerous times, on almost all rp sites I've rped on. Including this site. It's happened during simple ooc posts for discussing/plotting rp, and during rps. Sadly all that can be done is remove the thread (if you don't want to keep waiting), and move on. It's not easy, not fun, but it's the way things go no matter the reasoning.

Yup. I know. Once I know someone is standing me up and i just get rid of the chat. Since I don’t need it cluttering my feed
Sometimes people want to reply and do the rp with you, but they are just at a loss on what to put for a reply. I've found myself in that situation were the rp goes through a rough patch but I want to continue because I know it'll get better but finding a correct reply for the rough part can be hard.
And sometimes people are just busy, try messaging them outside the rp to see if they are ok, or if they just have something going on. It could be a simple misunderstanding

Before this gets locked, which often happens, let me point in the direction of some other topics that pop up about this:

It is without a doubt a very common issue, and there's tons of advice that people have given on the subject so you're not alone and there are a lot of different ways to deal with it.
Edit: Also, if you're curious about my opinion, I provided some advice of my own on the first page of the first link.
