Lidia (played by RepairlessPain)

The streets were covered in glitter and party stuff as Lidia left the New Year's party. The journey home should be an easy one, but first, she needs a coffee. Now. She made her way to the nearby coffee shop and ordered a grande ice coffee.
It's the New Year, a time for new beginnings and happy endings, but Lidia can't help but feel as if she's still stuck in her horrid past, reliving each and every moment.
There she layed on the floor in her own blood. She certainly had done it this time. Piss him off, that's a good way to survive this year out. He began beating her at the beginning of the relationship and hasn't stopped since. This will be the last tme though. Lidia pulled herself up, clutching her wound that remained on her thigh, and hobbled towards her kitchen. She shouldn't have invited him over tinight when her parents weren't home to tell him it's done, but she just thought that it would be a rational decision, adult like. She was dead wrong. He sat at the kitchen table, sharping a knife. Picking up the frying pan that laid in the floor, she tried to use it as a weapon before but she was only defeated, now she crept up behind him and smacked him one good time. Not hard enough to kill him, just hard enough to knock him out to where she could run.
Shuddering at the memories, Lidia snatched her coffee and wished the cashier a happy new year. There's no way he'll find me. My parents pay for my apartment in cash and I never ever call home from a traceable phone, only a pay phone that's miles and miles away from where I live. It's a bit extreme, but hey, I'm taking all precautions.
but am I really that safe?
The wolf anthro walked through the streets. He had a calm demeanor, as if nothing could really bother him, or if it did, he was good at hiding it.
A pair of Skullcandy Skull Crusher headphones rested around his neck, some music playing quietly from them. He was wearing a pair of worn jeans and a green hoodie with black stripes going vertically on it and his bare paws made no noise on the sidewalk.
He stopped when he saw Lidia and looked at her for a moment. Being a wolf, he had a good knack for knowing when someone else was as distressed as she was.
"Hey... You okay?" he asked her, a gentle tone in his voice.

(The more the merrier ! :D)
Lidia clutched her side, trying to control her breathing. She glanced up to the stranger and felt sudden fear. She's been like this for a while; scared of men, constantly thinking they're going to hurt her but she knows she has to trust. Somehow.
"I-I," She was prepared to reply I'm fine like always, but something about the stranger's eyes made her feel comforted, "No, I'm not."
He held out a tentative hand to her, "D-do you need a doctor?"

"No, it's my ribs... They were broken before and they just hurt time to time." Lidia said, then tried to straighten up, only to feel something snap inside of her. She cried out in pain and felt fat warm tears dance down her cheeks, "Okay, okay, maybe a doctor would be good..."
He yelped out in surprise and rushed to her side, helping her to stand, "Alright... I'll call an ambulance."

A man saw the commotion from a street over. He ran over to help too. He turned to the man beside her. "I-is she okay?" He put a warming hand on the girls shoulder. "What happened and if something hurts, where does it hurt?" He showed a small briefcase. He opened it up and a small medic kit lay inside. "I can help until an ambulance arrives." He looked over to the man gain. "You called an ambulance right?"

Lidia gestured to her ribs, but the man couldn't do anything with his utensils. She felt her heart warm towards him offering his assistance and thanked him silently.
"no, no, please don't call an ambulance. He'll find me. And I, I, just don't please. Take me to my apartment. If you can." Lidia tried to rise, only to slump back down in painz
