While perusing Craigslist, you stumble across an ad that captures your attention. ‘Witch For Hire!’. Chuckling to yourself, you open the ad and read it;
Witch for hire! I’m a real witch-in-training from Germany (don’t worry, mein Englisch ist gut
), about to be finished, and need to start interning or practicing somewhere. I’m not the fake kind that likes to charge you hundreds of dollars to read your tarot cards and another 100 for a “special candle” that they bought from Target (although I can read your tarot cards if you’d like; I’ll just tell you to buy the candle from Target yourself ) or the kind riddled with parlour tricks which are really just showy science experiments! Currently searching for people and places to practice my skills on; I’m available for a whole host of events! Let me read your tarot and tell your fortune! Book me for your organization’s next exhibition! Allow me to brew potions for your health clinic! Bedazzle your kid’s next birthday party with a witch who can perform actual magic! They’ll never forget it, I promise! Donations appreciated but not expected. And no asking me to hex anyone; I’ll not do that!
‘A real witch, yeah right’ you think to yourself. As a gag, and possibly with the intention of lampooning, you contact her to hire her for her ‘services’ but when she arrives...well, prepare to be amazed.
