So this is the first time I have even made a post about commissioning an artist to draw any of my characters. I will admit I am a bit nervous about proceesing into this and may ask questions that would seem obvious to those used to this kind of transaction but for me are brand new.

Really I have a lot of characters I would like created some day, but I figured the best one to start with would have to be Siira.

I feel like I would be a little picky on this, due to the fact I have had her image in my head for a long time (as well as many other characters) I could provide pictures of certain items and a detailed description of her as well. I am not looking for anime, chibi, cartoon, or otherwise unrealistic drawings of her. She is a humanoid alien who wouldn't be terribly different from a human as far as drawing would be concerned. By this I mean theres no tails or wings or other crazy inhuman body parts to be made. There would, however, be some difference in colors of certain areas which are important to this race and as such, I do expect the artwork to be in color.

As far as price goes I am not really sure where most people are paying, but I have a rough idea of what these projects do and do not go for, and I'm willing to wager I would pay relatively well, particularly if I got exactly what I was looking for. I do realize how difficult it is to make something off of only a description though, so I'll try keeping an open mind here. If I was so impressed though, I would likely be interested in repeating my business with an artist if they were also interested.

I, obviously, reserve all rights to this character and race as an original creation of my own. I realize the artist may want to use the work as an example of their abilities, and I'm fine with that, just as long as the credit for the character and race itself is given to me. I will, in all ways, return this courteously, accrediting the artist in all areas for the creation. I'd even be willing to link the artists rpr page or other page somewhere either on my profile or maybe even the character page.

Of course, I'd like to see samples before I decide to move forward and we can settle on a price beforehand also. Like I said this is a new idea for me, commissioning artwork, and I am a bit nervous about it. I suppose the best payment method is PayPal. This is also something I am new to but it's supposed to be pretty simple.

If you think you may be my artist, reply below and mail me and we can discuss the transaction and I can provide what you would need to create this artwork. Also if you feel I am wrong in some area and am need of some guidance due to my ignorance, I would appreciate only a PM to keep from embarassing me (hehe)

You might want to contact MadRatBird. He's the first person I think of when it comes to a realistic style and a willingness to work off a written reference.

Hi, I know I’m not a well known artist but I am starting off with commissions online now and I wanted to offer my services. I work in realism, and use a variety of different mediums but normally I do pencil sketches and marker drawings with fine liners as well. Most of my art is fantasy, sci-fi, and modern. @crystaldragon really the name is irrelevant as it would most likely be lost on me anyway, seeing as this is my first time branching into this idea. Besides, some of the best movies have no big names in them whatsoever, if you understand the comparison. If it works I plan to commission more in the future. Regardless I would love to take a look at your pieces if you want to pm me your link. Siira is a sci fi character, as well as many other characters I make are, so experience in that probably would be helpful I would think.

@claine thanks I'll take a look. I wanted to try here on rpr before going to deviantart out of comfort and familiarity with the community, but that's likely my next stop if rpr doesn't work out.

Ref/design sheets (80 euros for a front back, + 30 euros per extra pose)- (good to see body types)

You can make up to 5 sets of changes from the sketch stage to the shaded stage. I can make further sets of revisions if needed for an extra charge.

Due to my queue I can start work around the 25th of March, and have a 7-12 day turnaround! However, if you're interested in my style we can discuss the details of your commission further in the meantime
