Why had she made such a choice? The fact she was knocking on death's door at the time may have had a slight hand in it. Now here she was over six weeks after her 'incident' of becoming a vampir, the one who both saved and cursed her having went his own way right after turning her. Now she was alone, confused, and scared. Her only saving grace at least was the fact that she was a employee of a blood bank and worked the night shift on her own, not like chilled blood was going to do anything!

Morgan sighs too herself as she closes and locks the main vault room of the bank, a bag of O- negative blood hanging from her mouth. Another dull night having 'dinner' on the job. After making sure the vault was properly closed she grabs her hello kitty backpack and heads for home, sipping on the blood bag like it was a big Caprisun. It was a long walk home and she was hungry after all.

Zero woke up to the sound of footsteps coming down his ally. Probably those stupid social workers again. he thought bitterly as he poised himself with his dagger. When the footsteps were close enough, he jumped from his box, bringing his dagger to the throat of the intruder.

Isobel walked with her hands in her pockets. The night air was dark and cool and she was thinking about taking off her wind breaker and just taking off right now. She didn't usually reveal her wings in towns but it was in the middle of the night, who would see her?

She narrowly dodged the knife coming at her. Startled out of her reverie, she mentally shook herself and brought out her own dagger from its sheath at her waist. "Attacking people in the middle of the night is a good way to get yourself killed." She warned quietly. She listened intently, waiting for the attacker to move so she could more accurately guess their position. Her blood was pumping in her ears, but she couldn't mistake another person's footsteps coming towards them. Two of them? She shifted to a more defensive stance. Maybe I should just fly up and away.

"Well it ain't nice to go barging into other people's homes either, is it?" Zero said, throwing his voice so she couldn't pin point him in this dark ally. "But its rams like weir both in he wrong." He added continuing to throw his voice.

Isobel frowned. She couldn't pin point where the voice was but it sounded like a boy's. "I didn't exactly expect someone to be living in an ally." She didn't relax the arm that held the dagger. It didn't seem like he knew the other person coming towards them, so that was something good, at least somewhat.

Zero decided that if the girl hasn't tried to kill him yet, then he was ok for the moment. "That's the point." He said putting his dagger away and not bothering to throw his voice. He could still hear more footsteps coming closer, and he smelled blood. "Do you smell that?" He asked the girl as he got up and sniffed the air to make sure.

The sound of the voice centered and Isobel lowered the dagger. She didn't put it away quite yet, as she still didn't know whether the third person was a threat. She sniffed and wrinkled her nose. "What are you trying to get me to smell, the dumpster nearby?"

"The blood in the air." He said as he grabbed a discarded flashlight. He tested the batteries to find it worked pretty well. "Here," he said tossing the flashlight to Isobel "I can see perfectly well."

Isobel caught the flashlight and held it. "Don't need this, wouldn't really help anyways." She motioned the flashlight towards her face, revealing the bandages across her eyes.

Morgan was absorbed in her own issues, mainly nursing her dinner so she could have some at home. Turning down the alley she normally used as a short cut after work she notices two others in the alley. She wasn't worried, figuring they are just walking homeless. Always treating them kindly and they treated her kindly in return after all.

Zero stiffened at the sight of blood. It had been two and a half weeks since he last fed. Slowly his eyes turned red as he glared at the potential meal. Zero slowly locked his lips a his razor sharp fangs slowly entered his mouth. He took a slow step forward, as if in a trance.
