Greetings everyone! Here's where we'll be handling the organization of the RP. A character sheet doesn't need to be posted here, but whatever sin and the accompanying power granted with such are about the only things I need. The ability is pretty much free reign and can even derive from a mutated preexisting one from the host. Lore wise, it's the essences themselves that choose an ability it finds fitting. I suppose they can be somewhat comparable to DC's Lantern Corps with different emotions harboring different results and even have designated colors too. An example is how my Tharraleos uses the Pride essence to manifest weaponry. He's a perfectly capable unarmed combatant, but still has a passion for armaments. I'll make a list that I'll edit as time goes on and more people join. The posting order for the main RP will also follow the one established here.
Good:
(Characters actively against Mallum)
* Tharraleos (Gryphtaur)
Neutral:
(Characters merely trying to survive
Evil:
(Characters siding with Mallum)
Sins:
(Hosts for semi-sentient constructs of sin)
Pride (purple):
Wrath (red):
Greed (yellow)
Lust (pink):
Gluttony (orange):
Sloth (blue):
Envy (green):

So for the character we are, we should pick a ability that best represents that deadly sin? It’s all in fancy writing so my brain is over worked hah!
I remembered I picked pride for my character Zilla. Mainly focusing on things I believe represents pride. I think an ability that goes well with pride would be the ability to make people notice what they have done. So I’m away, control what people see in my character. For the better of my OC, of course. So I guess a slight version of mind control. But not to.. extreme. Just enough to get the satisfaction from herself and others.

@gryphtaur : Would this plot fit into the story context that you have in mind?
I am thinking to start off my characters on the good side then the selected sinful 7, more weak at heart, shall fall into the dark side (willingly by actively embracing evil like envy or wrath) (or otherwise, more reluctantly or passively like gluttony and sloth)
7 sinful characters:
Toyle (royalty/human) ---> Lust
Kalkas (royalty/elf)---> Pride
Pentre (nobility/human)--> Wrath
Glendale (low born thief/human)--> Greed
Lancelot (low born knight/human)--> Sloth
Nimueh (low born witch / human) --> Envy
Edward Teach (low born pirate / human) ---> Gluttony
Whilst the 7 good characters will remain strong in virtue throughout the RP (if they did fall, they would make penance and cleansing, rise up and continue their fight all the stronger for it). They will be actively fighting the sorcerer/Mallum and trying to talk others out of wrongdoing. This group of righteous 7 would be lead by my modest and humble sorcerer Taff
7 righteous characters:
Leonardo (nobility / human) --> chastity, abstinence (vs lust)
Arn (wealthy knight / human) --> temperance, self restrain (vs gluttony)
Serena (low born maid / human) --> charity, generosity (vs greed)
Merthyr (royalty / human) --> patience, forgiveness, mercy (vs wrath)
Aynor ( nobility turned mercenary or assassin / human) --> diligence, persistence (vs sloth)
Lwyncelyne (high born healer / elf) --> kindness, compassion (vs envy)
Taff (low born servant / human - druid sorcerer) --> deference, humility
Another couple of questions to ask... more specific to the RP itself rather than plot...
1) is there a specific place they all start at? a tavern or a market? perhaps an event: festival or a parade? or everyone jumps in differently and eventually meet up with the others
2) in your plot overview and IC reply you mentioned this is a modern setting.
Can there be a time travel element?
For example all or most of my characters are medieval fantasy. Can they roleplay as they are with their past behaviour, clothing, knowledge but stuck in modern day setting? (perhaps via spell gone wrong or something?)
and those with magic (can they travel back and forth between past and present? have visions of the past war?)
or does it have to be modern day characters fitting a modern day setting exclusively (in which case I'll adapt mine)
I don't mind either way but it is good to see what options you have on the table

If you guys would want the Seven Deadly Sins still, I have the perfect characters for it under Other People From Dimension D's Diablo, where he has all seven of his minions, which are based on the seven deadly sins.
Since Vremya here would be wrath, and her ability that's granted should reflect that aspect of her, I was thinking that her ability would be that in moments of rage or intense emotional turmoil she'd manifest a phantom version of herself which is capable of doing everything she can barring her strongest magical abilities. It does have a number of limitations which would prevent it from being too obscenely overpowered.
Whose turn is it to post in IC?
