"Sounds hectic, but worth it to get away from family." Tyrelle shared a knowing look with her best friend. There were multiple reasons the girls didn't live in Ireland anymore, family being one of them, especially the strict religious implications of being Catholic. Irish guilt was very real, and very difficult to avoid, even over the smallest things.

"I've dealt with a few men like that. Once they lose, their bravado deflates instantly," Saoirse said. "It's relatively entertaining, especially when women are stronger than them physically." The girls weren't muscular. Lean and athletic maybe, but not overly so. Due to the nature of her job, Tyrelle was a little stronger than Saoirse, and she loved to show off a bit during sparring matches.

"You're the artist," Tyrelle said to her. "You should join in."

"I've never used sand as a medium before." Saoirse shrugged and looked down, crossing one ankle over the other and digging her toes into the sand. "Think we might want to come back tomorrow at least?"

"Most likely." That brought a smile out of both girls.

Z huffed a bit. "You can't be burger. You person. Person not be burger. Don't eat food that talks! She nodded. The little buzzy things saying sorry helped a bit, though them getting to close to her ears was...uncomfortable, and not in the painful way either.

She had ignored the other women during her interaction with Vee, distracted by her fellow green entity. "So what is you? Why you green like me but not like me? It was quite obvious Z's green was darker. Was it because she was tanned before becoming a zombie? Or because she was a zombie? In all truth a corpse didn't really turn green when they died. Fact was....she wasn't really "dead" in the literal sense. Every part of her worked perfectly fine. She just needed to do things...differently.

"Still want burger though...." She mumbles to herself, having actually forgot about Abelle and the others.

It was a reassuring thought to know Vee wasnt a burger. It seemed less and less likely they were on ZGs menu, at least currently. They were still a bit disturbed at how they acted initially, but then upon visiting a few space stations in the past, Vee had come off as quite offensive themselves and completely by mistake too. They still weren't completely sure why, but they had figured out at least a few of the things nearly no other race expected Vee to do, and in fact, expected Vee to not do.

"Vee!" they shouted in response to the question, "all Vynym green."

They felt a bit like touching ZG, perhaps embracing the way other aliens had taught Vee was an acceptable form of touching someone. It was a bit unnerving for a couple of reasons, firstly what if ZG changed her mind and snacked on Vee anyway, and secondly, they still weren't completely sure how to do it appropriately.

"You want bug?" Vee asked deciding to change the subject internally, "I will get!" with that Vee started looking around, trying to spot a ground or even flying insect they could retrieve for ZG. Maybe this is what a burger was.....bugs! Food!

"Vee? That you name? I am....don't know. Not have name. Just call Z for now. Placeholder name. She nodded, holding out one green hand for Vee to shake, unaware that Vee was an alien or that they did not fully comprehend human interaction. Then again maybe Vee did know a handshake was. Z had just met her recently.

"Vynym? All is green? Why? Why is green? What is Vynym? She didn't know Vee felt like a hug, and in all honesty wouldn't freak out of they did. Just no whispering in the ear! That freaked Z out for some reason.

"Bug? No. Not want bug. Bug not food! Food is...food... Indeed, Z was a master conversationalist.

She then remembered the other girls. "Oi! Who give me burger? Still hungry!"

"Yes, green because...." Vee paused a moment looking at Z curiously, "Because we Vynym!" they said excitedly. It was disappointing that bugs were apparently not burgers, and it began to bother them that they didnt know what a burger was at this point.

Remembering the discussion from earlier, and as much to satisfy their own curiosities as to feed Z, Vee looked up to the group of women nearby. Their eyes twinkled slightly and their vae wings repeatedly and constantly opened and closed in a constant, moderately paced motion.

"They have burger," Vee exclaimed, raising their arm to point at the general group of ladies.

Tyrelle looked at their two green companions, always having kept a listening ear on them. "Seems like hunger is getting the best of everyone at the moment," she said and looked at Saoirse and Abelle. "I heard something about a place called Mike's. We should probably make our way over."

Saoirse looked at Vee and Z. "You two alright, there? Got your energy out?" She winced and started to reach up to rub the back of her neck. Tyrelle quickly grabbed her hand and squeezed.

"I'll readjust it after we've eaten. Don't touch it for now. Squeeze my hand if you need to," Tyrelle counselled quietly. Saoirse nodded and winced again, using her free hand to twirl a curl around her finger to help distract herself.

Z frowned as Vee did not shake her hand. Weird girl... She thought, not knowing that Vee and her species were...well mistakes have been made all around.

Turning to look at Tyrelle, Z nodded."Not scare people any more. Was just surprised. Still not believe it. Am green. Half of face missing. Right eye not work so good. Very scary. Not remember anything.". She looked at all the people present, thinking, which was a little difficult given part of her mind was still mush.

"We find burger now? Or more talking. Not much to say. Not know much. Not remember. She huffs, still very frustrated that she had no memory beyond waking on a beach and vomiting out sea water. It was beyond frustrating in fact.

As Vee stared waiting for the answer to what might a burger be, that's just what they saw fly by....a bee. They had similar beings on their own planet, and as the bee flew by, they watched it, casually sauntering down the beach without a care in the world. Clearly the bee was enjoying the day as well....for now.

With a slight glance over to Zombie Girl, Vee returned their look to the bee, two sets of vae wings buzzing on their chest. The vae took off out of their pods with great vigor, hurriedly chasing down the unaware insect simply enjoying the day. The vae crashed upon the bee like a wave on the beach. One of which stood back while the other tackled it from behind. The bee buzzed in panic, but the vae retracted one arm and stabbed it in the back with a barb that protruded from their wrist, seemingly at will. It was only seconds more the bee struggled, quickly loosing feeling in its body and falling limp. The vae held either side of the bee while it fell into paralysis, holding it's weight when its wings finally stopped. They pulled it up to its chest and made it's way back to Vee, the other vae hot on its tail.

Upon their return, the empty handed vae simply fell into it's pod once more, while the one carrying the bee buzzed down in front of Zombie Girls face, thrusting the limp, yet still alive, bee in their face.

"Burger!" the tiny vae squeaked out with a smile, and Vee too looked at Zombie Girl, smiling at their own offer of peace with the hopefully not plant eating alien.

Jumped back a bit as the tiny vae thrust a bee into her face! "WHAA! Why you kill Bee? Bee good! Need to feed plants! For plants to make babies! You! V! What are tiny things? You babies?" She asks, some what annoyed at the face thrusting. "Please to be keeping tiny things away from face and ears! Disconcerting!"

That's when she stopped. How did she know bees were super important? Was it an important thing to know? Or was it just common knowledge? She coudln't remember.

"No no, not burger! Bee! Bug with sting and make honey! Burger is....hmm....you know what mammal is?"

Vee was visibly disappointed at the almost aggressive decline in their peace offer. They were hoping to make a new friend by offering food to them, but apparently they had, instead, offended Zombie Girl instead. The vae slumped slightly in sadness, and Vee's face reflected that. The vae flew slowly back to Vee, who held their hand out for the vae to drop the bee on, before retreating into their pod. Vee turned directly around and sat on the ground, holding their knees up to their chest, and popped the bee into their mouth. It was good, tasty, and had an enjoyable crunch to it as they ate it, a stray wing sticking out of their mouth for a moment before they sucked it in, finishing off the unfortunate bee. They simply sat there thinking.

Narrows her eyes at V. "Did....did you eat the bee?" She blinks. "Do Vynminimin eat bugs?" She asks, accidental butchering the name of V's species. Which has nothing to do with the fact Z's player can't remember how to spell it.

Sighing, Z scoots and sits next to Vee, frowning. "Am sorry. You try be nice to Z, but Z just be rude. Z no eat things that still alive. We wait till others give food yes? Good idea. So. You is green alien. Why you here? She asks. Part of her thought that Vee being here had something to do with her own current condition, but that thought was fading slowly.

"Vynym," Vee corrected softly while still finishing off the bee, ignoring the shock at eating the bee.

They turned their head to look halfway in Zombie Girl's direction, using their eyes to meet the rest of the distance.

"I here for.....making friend," Vee said simply, then turned to look back forward, their vae wings twitching every so often while slowly opening and closing like a butterflies wings. "Not doing good yet."

"Vihhhniiihm.....Vynym. Got it." Vee eating the bee was a bit....uncomfortable. But then again Z was a zombie....so she felt she really didn't have a right to talk about some one else's eating habits.

"You look for friend? Well you find one. You find me? Me not know who me am. Not remember anything. Is scary. Would like have friend. Make feel better." She smiles.

"Not do so good? You lucky. You still have full face? Humans not like seeing human bone." She grumbles, pointing at the exposed bone of her lower right jaw.

The male strolled along to the beach from some where the shops where. He wore a pair of tan cargo shorts, pink flop flops, and a pink button up shirt with a brown leaf pattern on it. His green hair blowing a bit in the breeze, and maroon eyes closed as he would sing a bit. His hands in his pockets. His strode in step with the song on his lips. "If everybody had a notion. Across the nation, everyone would be surfing, like the USA" What a funny man, It wasn't really his dress, singing, or walking to the music that was 'funny' about him. It wasn't even the golden safety-pins in his right ear, or the bottom left corner of his lip. But, who walks around with a coffin strapped to their back?

He jumped into the sand, knees bent and doing what would be a mix of the twist and the monkey. " Inside, outside, USA. inside outside USA." He continued singing. His next step would be of him mis calculating, his step, and falling face first into the sand. The coffin landing on top of him. one hand held up from the side of the coffin. The other laft. His legs bent up, then flopped down. "I," Shifting a bit under the coffin. "Am okay!"

Having watched Vee and Z for the last, well, what felt like three days, talking about bugs and burgers and things, the beach bum grinned and ran her fingers through her hair. Oh goodness, she thought as she laughed.

"Alright you two green people, come over here and Abelle will tell you all about what a burger is.." Slowly she started to walk towards the duo when she stopped and just... stared.

Was that a man with a coffin on his back? Side-eyeing ZG, she wondered if that box was for her, but quickly dismissed it for now. If it was, they could all have a civilized conversation about it. Counting five people, including herself, she realized she wouldn't be at the bar in Mike's for once, but she'd, need, shudder, a booth. Loathsome things for tourists, if she had any thoughts about it. Clearing her throat, she spoke in one of those authoritatively loud voices that all but said "Yo, listen up, I've got something to say and you might wanna hear it."

"A burger, or hamburger, is a small round disc made out of the flesh of a cow. It has a bun, which is two pieces of specific bread and sometimes has sesame seeds on it, and you can get any number of things to go on the burger itself up until the top part of the bun. Most people get lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese.. some put mayonnaise on it, mustard, pickles, onion rings, bacon... But it's one part meat from an animal, one part bread, and zero to two parts vegetables."

Hoping that she had explained it enough to them all, she began to start walking towards Mike's once more, her gaze on the person with the coffin, curious and... he was as klutzy as the greenies! Another delay in getting food, she turned on her heel and walked over, offering a hand. "Need some help?" Her general kind nature was going to get in the way of burgers yet again. Hopefully no one starved.

Down by the coves, long before Man had walked on the beach and decided "hey this is pretty fun, let's never leave here and become a problem to all the local ecosystems" a serpent dove into the sea to avoid a sorceress's spell. She managed to just touch his tail, changing him into something that was hunted for hundreds of years. Eventually people stopped hunting when they realized if they cooperated with the serpent of the sea, they were given treasures that were so rare, small wars could be fought to possess them.

To Lothan though, they were mostly just shed scales from his back. They tended to itch and getting rid of them was easier than rolling around on the rocky shore of the coves to loosen them all up.


"I don't know why we're here again, you old soft scaled snake." A mermaid sat in the shallow water by the coves, perched on top of the sea serpent's coils. She was lounging on him, sprawled out as pretty as could be, with a tiny black tank top that hugged her minimal chest snugly, her dark teal scales of her tail turning to a charcoal color as they made their way up to her waist, which was lightly tanned. Her fins have sharp looking spines on them and overall, she looks relatively annoyed, her full lips pouting, deep teal colored hair looking like it was still wet, sticking to the back of her neck. Webbing lined her fingers, gills were mostly hidden on her neck, and her eyes, such an electric shade of blue, glared out at the beach goers.

"Well we wouldn't be here if you hadn't taken my belongings and thrown them up here, now would we." The coils that the mermaid was perched upon belonged to none other than Lothan, the local Sea Serpent. His total length was a hundred or so feet long, with a few coils in the shallows for his mer-frenemy to lounge upon, the majority of his bulk hidden in the drop off past the coves. His head is above the water, fins sprouting from just below his glinting aquamarine eyes and along his jaw, spined fins making a frill on his head and trailing down his back. He has a few other sets of headfins, one of them with what looks like a piercing in it, a blood colored stone hanging from a black piece of cord. Long teeth are lightly off-white, a few hanging beyond his lower lip when his mouth is closed. The sea serpent's snout tapers to a point, his head more triangular than anything, and little tendril-like appendages hang from his jaw, almost like a beard. His coloring is mostly silver, some soft blues and purples thrown in there, along with the odd teal or dark grey.

"...Shut up Lothan, you don't need those baubles the humans gave you. Honestly, accepting bribes from them to not kill them... what sort of sea serpent are you, anyway?" The mermaid flicked her tail a little, watching the land dwellers and continuing to glare at them.

"Says the mermaid who accepts bribes to ferry Man across the oceans. Nice one, Antique." Lothan let out a soft, throaty laugh, his voice deep and rumbling. They're far enough away that most people probably don't even see them, lurking just a bit in the shade, but he keeps his head down a bit just in case. "I really want to find that thing that you threw away this time... Stop coming over if your only goal is to throw my treasures out."

Lothan was hoping one of the humans who had heard of him would come over to accept a 'quest' from him, in return for a few of his shedding scales, which were hard as diamonds and sharper than any razor could get. With the right blacksmith, who didn't really seem to exist anymore, his scales could have been made into knives, daggers, or even swords, with a little magic. Unfortunately, of course, most of the magic in crafting seemed to have gone and been replaced by machines. No magic there, just the most basic items being mass-produced.

Vee stared at ZG as they spoke, a soft smile curling across their face as she spoke of friendship. The conversation turned at the end, however, and Vee came to a sudden realization.

"This why they say monster," they said, reaching up with their hand to touch ZG's face where to flesh had seemingly dissolved away. "This not make monster," they said, their smile growing. Their vae wings fluttered quickly, intermittently flapping about in apparent joy.

As they looked at Z, they noticed a strange alien in the background. They pointed to the individual dancing about the beach, singing about the USA as they strutted about wildly with a strange wooden box strapped to their back. Vee's hand left Zombie Girls face as they stared at the person, pointing with the same hand in the strange aliens direction as they face planted on the ground.

Z stiffened a little at Vee touching her face. Touching people's faces was a little...taboo to some people? Thankfully Z was beginning to figure Vee was not used to how humans did thing.

"Yeah, but humans judge by eyes a lot, not by heart. Is kinda dumb." In that regards, Z felt kinda good about not being human anymore. Only kinda. Just a tiny bit.

She blinked up at Abelle, smiling. "See? That is what burger is. Meat! Meat good! Want meat! Not meat that talks though! No no no! That bad!" She nods, smiling and sitting with Vee.

She then sniffs, sensing something...off. A sort of tingle in the back of her head. Turning, she peers at the man carrying a coffin, narrowing her eyes at it and him, disliking both almost instantly.

Saoirse felt like metal rods were being shoved through the muscles on her neck, going straight through to above and on her right eye. Man, what a headache...Hopefully she can adjust it, maybe with a little acupressure. Resisting the urge to rub it, she held onto Tyrelle's hand, snuggling closer to her side before tears sprung up. She looked down, hiding her face behind her hair for now, until the waves of pain slowed.

Tyrelle watched with interest as Vee offered, then ate, a little bee. Interesting. A plant that eats bugs...I really hope I can get that extension and continue studying them. Holding Saoirse close, she started walking toward Abelle, guiding her carefully and attempting not to jostle her too much. A strange man with green hair was dancing nearby. With eyebrows knit together in confusion, she watched him topple over with a coffin squishing him into the sand.

"I'm not entirely sure I want to help him... There's something off about 'im I'm not comfortable with," Tyrelle said, watching the scene carefully. "I'm hungry. Let's get going. Saoirse, do you want your cover-up?"

Saoirse nodded slowly. "Yes, please"

Tyrelle took her to their stuff left abandoned on the sand near the water. Bending down, she dug through their bag and pulled out an emerald green cover-up. Wrapping Saoirse in it, the girls quickly went back to join the others.

After a moment, Abelle realized how weird it was to offer her help to someone with a coffin. On their back. Pausing and pursing her lips, she thought about it for several seconds before sliding away slowly, the lure of burgers causing her to say, "Actually I may not be the best help, I don't think I can lift... that..." Eyeballing that coffin with a weird glance, she shuffles away, as if belatedly weirded out by it, and scuttles off to join the girls in burger grabbing time.

Opting to not say a word about the peculiar person who had been dancing, she just sort of shows up next to Saoirse and Tyrelle, smiling in her carefree way. "You'll like Mike's burgers, and if you don't, well.. don't tell him, he might blame me for messing with them again." There's an impish sort of smile in her grin as she walks on the beach, and she looks over her shoulder at some point, staring pointedly at the coves for a moment, one eyebrow arching, before she looks at the two ladies. Opening her mouth to say something, she stops when she hears Z talk.

Calling out to the green gal and person, she waves them over. "Well come on, the burgers aren't going to wait around for us all day!"
