"Wh-what are you doing?" He asked flinging Crysor off of him. "Get that thing away from me."
"So. Are y'all just accident prone or is there something to this little relationship of yours that I should know about?" Seriously. He hadn't even been gone that long. It was rather obvious from his slightly raised eyebrow what exactly he was referring to. Well, anyone could have walked in on that particular positioning and gotten the wrong idea. Still, the slightest of an upward tilt to his lips suggested that he was only joking. He did have a sense of humor, after all, even if it wasn't often shown.
"I think we're accident prone," Kori said, melting back into the bushes.
Crysor bared his teeth again slightly in annoyance, slamming him back to the ground and holding him there with a forearm. Then he quickly pressed the arrowhead against the wound to cauterize it before he could start struggling again. At this point he wished he could've explained that he was helping, but alas.

He yelped in pain. Before he knew what he was doing a fiat shot up and hit Crysor square in the jaw.
Crysor's mouth was open in a soundless yelp as he got knocked away and landed on his back. At least it had worked- the cauterization had stopped the bleeding, so long as he didn't strain himself.
He rubbed his jaw ruefully. He sure could throw a punch, though.

He grinned sheepishly. "Truly sorry about that." He situated himself to the upright position m. "I have quite good reflex."
Crysor rolled his eyes, considering that to be an understatement. He looked around again, remembering that there was a sniper somewhere, but he still couldn't figure out where.
An arrow whizzed past Crysor's head from atop one of the high trees. It missed and struck the ground sending pebbles flying everywhere. "Shit!" He yelled trying to get away, his wound catching on a rock. "Ah god that stings!"
Crysor ducked away, firing up an arrow like a lightning bolt of his own at the sniper's general area.
While the man was busy scrambling for safety and the elf taking pot-shots at an unseen enemy, he figured he would take his time doing something actually productive. From his vest pockets came a rather strange looking clump of ashen grey powder packed into an egg like shape, and a vial of clear liquid. Setting the egg on the ground, he popped the cork on the vial and drizzled out the contents over the powdery lump. The effects were immediate, and filled the air with a thick cover of smoke that obscured vision and scent, but was otherwise harmless.
"Head down-wind. Follow the smoke cloud. We can't shoot at what we can't see, but neither can they. We need a plan and thinking under pressure is never a good idea." If the other three didn't want to heed his advice...Well, that was their own damn problem, not his. True, he was free to leave. But, these three were his only leads concerning his 'mission', as it were, so he was reluctant to let go of them quite that quickly.

Crysor paused a moment, thinking, then nodded and booted Kori ahead of him, following this odd little smoke cloud. He reloaded his bow, checking out the fallen arrow to study the fletching. It wasn't any kind of arrow that he recognized, that was for sure. He stuck it in his quiver to look at later.
Falen scrambled to his feet. He couldn't where his group went it anything. He was in extreme pain and could barely see. He just started walking randomly into the forest still not able to see.
"Oh, god damn it. Come here. Don't speak, you'll give your position away. Just follow." With little fanfare, he plated a hand on the injured man's shoulder and guided him in the right direction. His voice was low enough to be heard given his short distance from Falen, but low enough that it couldn't be used to track him by anyone more than a couple yards away.
He nodded recognizing the Nan's voice. He just followed the short tugs of the Ann guiding him.
Vincent was traveling along the roads when he stopped and noticed the small sight in the distance. He eased to the trees and squinted his eyes some to get a better look. "Lavex, it's arrows.." he said quietly as he watched the small black lines dart from the tree tops. "But what are they..."
He followed to the general area to see the arrows flying into a smoke cloud. He rubbed his chin, "I think they are attacking someone.." he took a deep breath, "I don't see anyone firing back, well..." he drew his staff, "And I don't really see any reason for others to hide when they fire..." he rotated the staff and slammed it down. A small flame appeared before Lavex's dragon body formed and spread his wings. The two rose into the air, Vincent on Lavex's back, "Ok let's even this up."
The dragon growled, "Be glad fool, that I do not toss you there with them. Passing orders onto me like this." Lavex let out one more fierce roar catching the attention of the tree top snipers. A few of the arrows bounced off his scales before a massive golden flame shout from his throat striking down the trees below him.

Crysor looked up sharply when he heard the roar, his eyes widening in genuine fear. So many flames- and a dragon-
Terrified, he backed away from the scene, his odd eyes huge and reflecting the light. The memories were too much.
Kori, on the other hand, was enjoying himself immensely. The flames were so pretty, and the dragon was simply-
"AWESOME!"

Lavex bucked his head tossing Vincent high into the air. A massive white ball of intense flames began forming in front of the pyromancer. Vincent then rotated his body hurling the large orb as hard as he could. His body beginning to descend to the ground. He closed his eyes and held his body together tightly.
Lavex swooped around snatching him up in one of the claws then flapped his wings hard forcing the fall of the large white flamed orb to descend faster. The impact made a small shockwave, the heat radiating outward as the trees it struck became pure ash. A few flames danced on the edges of the affected area.
Vincent and Lavex landed, the dragon flashed into a flame taking his smallest elemental form and landing lightly on his Summoner's shoulder as the two looked at the handiwork. "Good going Lavex, that should deal with the archers." He chuckled. The small dragon whipped his cheek with his tail, "I know, I know. But that didn't take any effort at all. Besides, I am sure the rest fled. Who wants to fight a dragon with a puny arrow?"
He sat down by one of the partially charred trees and pulled out some bread and began to chew large pieces, "Ya know.." his mouth still full, "I wonder who they shot at.."

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Kori yelled in approval, dashing out of his hiding place despite his silent companion's protests. "SO MUCH FIRE- AND A DRAGON! SO AWESOME!!"
Crysor was still too petrified to facepalm, the fire still burned in his memory. He didn't like fire all that much, no, not at all.

Vincent looked up to the hobbit that approached him. "Well, we thank your appreciation of a good show." Vincent turned around and smiled at the ring of ash behind him, "Bread?" He offered out the loaf for the hobbit to take a piece. Regardless of if he did or didn't he later pulled it back to get himself another chunk.
"So you was the one they was attacking? All that for one hobbit?" He laughed, "You certainly can make an enemy I take it." he grabbed another bite, slowly refueling his body with the bits of the baked goodness. His golden hues looked about as the small flame dragon ran along his shoulder, "I told you that we are safe, I see no one here to attack. Lavex...behind us...the remains of a group of trees. Gone, ash, less than ash. Relax my friend." Vincent turned his attention back to the small one and offered his hand. "My name is Vincent Enkou."

"Me and some friends of mine... Crysor, come out," he called before turning to Vincent. "Kori," he introduced himself as, shaking his hand.
Crysor shook his head violently- hell no he wasn't coming out.
