Vincent returned the handshake and then stood up rewrapping the remaining bread, "Good thing me and Lavex happened by." he chuckled, "Guess a pyromancer can come in handy huh." he grabbed the metal staff, "Well, is there anything else you can use me for? If not I think I should wander on."
He looked ahead, "I plan to continue my random sight seeing. I just had the urge to start walking in this direction, though now I don't know what else to do. I followed instinct up until now." He scratched his head and shrugged, "Maybe the urge will return to me later. I think I can't be to far from a town."
Vincent looked back down to Kori, "So why is it you travel my flame-admiring friend?"

"I'm on a quest," he replied simply, not wanting to go into more detail than he had to. "And I like the dragon. He breathes pretty fire."
Oh God. Crysor peeked out from behind his bush, watching Kori cautiously. Hopefully the little fool didn't go and get himself into anymore trouble.

Vincent laughed, "A quest huh?" he rubbed the back of his neck, "Sounds important." he glanced to his shoulder where the miniature Lavex sat. He nodded his head to his dragon's silent words. "Lavex said I should ask if you need any more help on it? We have no true goal anyways. And perhaps our gift can come in handy?"
Vincent held tight to the staff. The odd black metal reflected no light as he turned to look again to his last bit of work. "Plus with us able to fly short distances and such, we can provide as a decent scout if needed." He laughed, "And I can make one hell of a campfire."

"You can come along if you want, sure," said Kori happily, simply ecstatic to have such a flammable person in the group. He was a pyro after all and loved fire; therefore he adored these two and their wonderful abilities.
Crysor facepalmed violently. This was going to be a joy, what with him being pyrophobic and all.

He smiled and turned his golden eyes back to Kori, "Excellent," he turned his head to the sound of the facepalm, "Your friends are over there then." He walked slowly, using the staff as a walking stick. His long red coat flowed behind him. He stopped when in sight of them and quickly noted Crysor, "Another elf?" he smiled and gave a slight bow, "Been so long since I seen anyone of my kin." he offered his hand, "Granted, I am only half..."
Crysor flinched back as if afraid of being hit; it was obvious he was intimidated by this guy and his powerful magic. He glanced down at Kori, who nodded slightly, and he finally glanced back up at Vincent.
His life had been destroyed by a pyromancer. Burned to the ground, just like the trees. (Those poor trees.)
Would it work to fight fire with fire?
Hesitantly he extended his own hand, although he was ready to pull it back if needed.

Gave a quick shake and smiled. He turned back to look around, "So...what exactly are we questing for?" He ran his hand through his hair. "I mean, I not turning out now but...am rather curious what I just signed up too." he gave a half chuckle and leaned against one of the trees that survived the mass homicide of tree and sniper alike.
Crysor leaned against his own tree, watching cautiously.
"Well, umm, the warlord and the demon dude are being bad, so, uhh, I'm going to stop them." The Cliff Notes version courtesy of Kori the hobbit.

Vincent sighed, "So that is what I got into." he nodded, "Well I promised not to back out and I will stay in this until the end." He sighed and rubbed his chin, "Granted those are two people I truly did not wish to cross paths with in the beginning. But, I guess that I can be of help might as well quit hiding from it all." he smiled, "Besides, I am fire proof thanks to Lavex here."
"Well, you were going to bump into them at some point. They're everywhere now. Personally, I'd prefer to face them with friends instead of alone."
He nodded, "True. Usually I run into to much trouble I just burn and run." he laughed, "I suppose this will be a lot easier than that." he smiled, "Well, you have me and Lavex at your backs. You own personal pyromancer and Dragon." He bowed for a moment then looked about, "So...what now?"
Kori shrugged. "I suppose we should get going- WAIT! I FORGOT ABOUT FALEN AND SHAITO, OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS!" He dashed off to find them, kicking up ash as he ran.
Crysor just shook his head in amazement.
Crysor just shook his head in amazement.
Blinked as the hobbit darted off, "A group of five then." he rubbed his chin and looked at the small flame that whipped his face, "Fine, six. Damn lizard." his face was whipped again and he sighed and looked to Crysor, "Not much for words?"
(Lol. I love lavex xD)
Crysor shook his head, watching the little dust clouds the hobbit had kicked up.

He sighed and watched the little hobbit run, "I guess being tiny comes in handy. He is pretty fast." he chuckled, "Which explains why a particular lizard always rides on my shoulder. Probably moves like molasses." Another whip across his face as the small flame dragon glared at his summoner, "What?" the two stared for a long moment before he turned back to Crysor, "So...how do you communicate?" He ignored the whip this time. "I am not being rude, I promise."
Crysor hid his smile with the skill of someone who has had a lot of practice. He raised his eyebrows instead, holding up his hands. Those were his two main ways of communication: his facial expressions and his hand signals. Sometimes he'd resort to writing if his message was too complicated or hard to understand, as he had done when he had first met Falen. It all depended on the person.
He nodded and shrugged, "Well as long as we have some way to talk." he began make a slow walk along the path of the Hobbit. He grew quiet now as he mostly looked around, making sure no surprises would appear. He did hate surprises, they never did go with plans.
Falen a bit dazed walked over to the new member of the group and grabbed his shoulder for support. He was bleeding pretty badly again. "W-w-where are w-we g-going?" He stumbling around still using the new member as support. Falen tripped on a rock and fell flat on him. He had been knocked out from the amount of blood loss. He may not last to much longer. After all, he did get shot a few times.
"Seems the danger has passed, for the moment. Right now, you're going to sit down and stay there so I can get a look at those wounds. Can you get your shirt off or am I going to have to cut it off you?" Walking the injured man over to the base of a tree, he rested the guy against it. From his bag and various pouches on his person, he started procuring bandages and medicine. He spoke in a calm but serious tone that suggested this wasn't a point to argue him on. He was a medic, after all, and he damn sure wasn't about to watch someone bleed out while stumbling around aimlessly.
He moved himself to stand beside Shaito and Falen now. He watched Shaito for only a short moment before tilting his head slightly to the left, "Is there anything that I can do to help you out?" he waited for a reply with full patience. He would only give the occasional glance and nod to the small flame dragon spirit on his shoulder.
