"HA! Loss for words from getting such rare pieces of metal are we now?" He patted the hobbit on the back. "You can come with me if you would like. I was just going into town to get some more supplies."
"Okay," Kori said stupidly, still fascinated with the glittering pieces of gold.
"Let us go then." He snatched up the gold coins. "These my good sir, are for expenses." He patted the hobbit on the back. "You'll get it when you find something you want to buy."
Kori blinked, his trance broken.
"What were we talking about again?" he asked, his brows furrowed in confusion. "Oh, never mind. It probably wasn't all that important."

He was already about thirty feet ahead of the hobbit. "You comin or not lad?"
"What- OH!" he yelped, running to catch up with Falen. "Geez, you move fast!"
"I do." He chuckled. "That and you're just slow." He looked at the hobbit while walking. "Do you believe in this 'end of the world' stuff?"
"I blame it on the short legs." Kori scratched his chin. "The end of the world... I'm not entirely sure what to think about it. I'm not sure what's really even going on... I heard stories about raging fires that couldn't be put out- which would be TOTALLY AWESOME to see- and the Warlord rising up again, but I don't think that's necessarily end of the world material."
"Yeah." He looked forward. A small tear rolled down his cheek. "We are almost there. When we get there we will buy horses." He looked down at the hobbit. "Well, I'll get a horse, you'll get a mule."
"Okay, cool. I like animals."
He just smiled. "Oh we are now entering the town." He pointed at the sign that says; Magik
"That's what it's called... It was just a dot on the map, last time I saw it. Cool," Kori said happily, looking for the idea of having his own little mule.
"Here are your two shiny gold coins." He flicked the coins at him. "Go buy whatever shiny thing you desire while I get the horses."
"Cool, thanks," Kori replied, weaving into the crowd. He was soon out of sight.
Falen walked over to the stables and bought the horse and bought a mule. He then went searching for the hobbit, hoping he hadn't wasted his money on something.
Kori came back a while later. "Look what I found!"
It was a sword, a sleek and shiny sword just the right size for a hobbit like him. "Isn't it great?"

He examined the sword. "Very nice." He looked at the hobbit. "How much?"
"I found it," he said awkwardly, handing Falen back his two coins. "Let's hurry and keep going."

He grabbed hold of the hobbit. "You're not going anywhere." He looked at the store he came from a guard stepped out of the front gate. he shoved the hobbit toward him. "Return it to him you idiot! I don't want to be a wanted man!"
"Ugh! Fine," Kori sighed, going back to part ways with the lovely sword. "But you knew what you were getting into when you met me! I warned you!"
