❦Hello there! My name is Spicy! I am the leader of this amino and I will be going over the villages and city of this land known as Calbrium! So sit back, pull up a chair, and let’s break down these lovely places!❦
❦Let’s start with the city, shall we?❦
❖Arachnida(Tiered City)❖
Arachnida is the capital of Calbrium, the center and heart of the land. It is commonly known as the impossible city. There are three reasons why the city is called this.
One, it is a tiered city. Tiered cities are usually seen as fiction and myth, it being able to work, yet Arachnida stands all and strong, working even though it shouldn’t.
Two, the inside is hollow. You can actually go under the city and into another part of the city. It’s hollow and being held together by pipes, glass, cement, and reinforced steel. It shouldn’t be able to do so, but it does.
Three, it is MASSIVE. It is 340 miles in length and 295 miles in width. The city should not exist with such a size. But it does and it is thriving. It would take about five hours to drive across the city as a whole.
The city is filled with festivities a lot of the time, usually celebrating other holidays with the rest of the world, but also their own. It is the hub of everything that is going on and the place to be. Jam packed full of places to shop, play, eat, and live!
❖Bolgant❖
Bolgant is the village of water. A village known for it’s seafood, being surrounded by water coming directly from the sea, it hosts a lot of life that would normally be found out at sea. It’s a quiet little village, often keeping to itself and not really having much to do with others around them. The village is usually filled with soft music and the smell of freshly baked bread. Sweetness filled the air as the candy shop opens its door in the morning and closes late at night. The smell of the sea is strong and mixes with the other scents. Other races flock here to taste the sweet, savory dishes they have to offer. The majority of this village is filled with humans.
❖Circula❖
Circula is the only elven village in Calbrium, the other village being destroyed due to a hostile race that fought with Circula, leading to Moldinbol’s destruction. The tall, elegant elves in this village are kind and welcoming to strangers and travelers alike. Their long hair flowing down their bodies as they walk. Long and skinny, much like the skin walkers that appear at night in their true forms.
The majority of the elves in Circula are battle mages, often wielding bows infused with poison or death enchantments. Often hunting in the forest, though making sure to keep their wits about them to avoid falling victim to the illusions the forest forces upon others.
(They also make the greatest alcohol)
The elves in this village are usually seen grooming the Protectors, making sure they are clean and see it as an honor to do so, seeing the spiders as divine beasts and often praising them.
The village itself is clean and tidy, the houses looking like royal masonry. The stone fitting together perfectly with no sign of overlapping or errors in the build. Clean and bright. Some have color pops with greens and blues, the doors usually being the color pop. Balconies are apart of almost every house and the village is set up to be nice and neat, in rows and sections. Alleyways leading right into the next as well as into the streets. The paths are cobblestone and
❖Dolvo❖
Dolvo is a dwarven village to the northwest, often getting snow and the hardest winters considering the village is nearly surrounded by the forest. There is a small gap in the trees where travelers and others alike can safely pass through in order to get to the village.
The village is known for their weapons, often being large in size and slow, but strong and hard to counter. Forged from hard steel, the weapons are the best and mightiest, often taking days to craft. The dwarves are rough fellas and gals, patting each other on the back roughly, doing the same with travelers and not knowing their own strength. Their hands calloused from rough work, but also mining through the mountains to the north.
They are a peaceful folk, welcoming travelers and wishing them the greatest of lives and hoping they try some of their friends, the elves, alcohol and having competitions to see who can hold their liquor the best.
The village itself is rustic and the houses are short, bulky, and nearly blend in with the area of land around it. The path is gravel with some grass growing through it, but also sprouting flowers that end up getting stomped by the heavy feet of the dwarves. The grass is green, yellow and brown in some areas due to the activities that make the village bustle.
[CB]❖Gulderpawn❖
A village as quiet as the cold chill of winter. Winter hits this village the hardest, making it hard to travel to as the path to it is often blocked or covered by heavy snow, leading to travelers getting lost and going into the forest by accident. It is the most dangerous out of the villages.
Gulderpawn is a pleasant place to be in the spring and fall. The people of Gulderpawn hang up decorations to symbols the seasons and celebrate the coming of each, inviting whatever spirits may walk into their lives. They believe the seasons draw in spirits for that season and welcoming them will bring them good luck.
The village is predominantly populated by werewolves, peaceful but protective. The werewolves are rather possessive of their village, usually seen building onto it to accommodate other werewolves as well as travelers who wish to live there. However, they only let those who they trust live among their kind. Those who wish to be among them must also be able to endure the bitter and ruthless cold that batters the village every winter for four months of the year.
The village itself is large and everything is built close together. The houses are usually big and are usually made with black brick to stand out against the snow. The ground, when not covered, is beautiful black cobblestone, wide paths and carefully sanded down to make it all level to not irritate the paws of the werewolves. When it’s spring, flowers bloom from everywhere often closing the village in with a meadow around it, full of bright and dark flowers alike. When I’m spring, the people wear flower crowns during the first day of spring.
To the north, is a lake with a lone house, usually where a lone witch lives. No one really knows much about her, she keeps to herself and doesn’t bother anyone.
❖Moldinbol Ruins❖
An elven village that was destroyed by a rivalry between Circula overnight. The feud between them was strong, almost ended up in a war.
In this world, all characters are welcome.
There are five main characters that have permanent spots in this world. They are known as the Token Gods(also known as Tokens). This means they are chosen by the main God known as Bopandittodeli(Bo). They are given the same status as a god, but they all have their own powers. They are as listed below:
Tomas:
A birdman coming from a race that calls themselves the Rito. Hailing from the northern area of Hyrule(BOTW), Tomas is a bird of many talents. He can shoot an arrow as straight as his heart is true, sing songs of all levels, and fly through the sky as if he made it himself. He will gladly lay down his life to protect those he cares about as well as his land. He is given the right northern corner of the land to guard. He is assigned the power of insight, the ability to see the future.
Gus:
Half bear, half Minotaur, Gus is a kind soul who likes hugs and enjoys beating down traitors of the Protectors. He enjoys nice walks on the beach, baking, babies, the sound of storms, and the laughter of children. He can’t really enjoy baking in a normal house due to his height(10ft.) but that doesn’t stop him from trying. He may be nice, but be careful to not get on his bad size. He turns into a mighty war machine when angered, his large battle-ax breaking any defense. He is given the left northern corner of the land to guard. He is gifted with the power of remedy, the ability to heal those who are injuried.
Koblin:
Koblin is a mixture of three animals, all put together by one necromancer. A dog, a raccoon, and a goat. Yes, he’s aware it sounds odd and he knows it really weird, but he’s more than happy to be your friend and help you through the windy tress of Kyler’s Forest. He makes sure no children are out after dark, just to be safe. He’s nurturing and caring. He can also make some really good magic and cause harm to those who wish harm upon the Protectors. He wields a large broadsword and a large sun shield. He is given the lower right corner do the land to guard. He is gifted the ability of endurance, the ability of high toleration from most elements.
Lenny:
Have you ever heard of the headless horseman? Take that tale and make him tall, no horse, and a wizard. That is Lenny. Lenny is a very tall(9/10ft) wizard with an empty pumpkin on his shoulders for a head. Lenny was actually cursed, once being a beautiful man on the quest to find his lover. He betrayed his father and for that, his father had him cursed to live forever and without dignity. What’s more demeaning than a pumpkin for a head and a large, black trench coat? He will kill those who kill the Protectors and makes it his mission to scare intruders off. Lenny is given the lower left corner of the land to guard. He is gifted the power of light, a powerful magic element.
Bopandittodeli(Bo):
Bo is the god of this world as well as the one who controls the Protectors. He loves his spider children, often petting them or keeping them by his side should there be new babies. He is a kind god, often giving those of his land good luck and great harvests, leading to successful sellers. He is usually seen throughout the land, wearing adventurer clothing rather than his posh pink suit. Though he may be kind, he will make sure those who don’t follow the rules of Cabrium are either kicked out or killed.
More Info
The world of Calbrium seems to worship spiders. The Protectors are massive spiders that help those who are lost in Kyler’s Forest. They often guide lost souls home or let weary travelers rest beside them and find them. The Protectors are seen as divine beings that are not to be hit or killed. Should anyone kill said Protectors, Bo shall curse them with bad luck until they give up an offering as a way of apologizing. Bo makes the Protectors from his magic and thus treats them as his children.
