The Tank was an obedient car, even to the end. Her tires and axel screeched loudly and certainly didn't sound good at all, but at least she was moving.
The poor car was definitely in bad condition. Her skeleton had been way jacked up when she had flipped like that, her tires were mostly grinding on metal, and of course all the windows had been blown out. She was a sad sight to see slowly making its way to D.C.
Josh sighed, reloading his gun as fast as he could and resuming his job of shooting zombies.

Austin pushed with all of his might: Even though it was in neutral, the Tank's current state didn't exactly make it easy to push.
He also kinda had to run from the steadily growing mass of zombies and have enough time to get the car through the gate.
He stopped to catch his breath- And turn around to open fire on the zombies behind him. Three-round burst semi-auto fire filled the air.
*bububum bububum bububum*
*tchk shh tchk shk-shk*
*bububum bububum bububum*
After a while, he decided to turn around and push again. He was halfway to the gate now...

Josh was once again reloading the sniper rifle when Leon and Anthony showed up on the scene, attracted by the sound of gunfire.
"What the hell-"
"I'm kinda busy, Leon," Josh returned, leveling the rifle again and dropping zombies.
"Oh- YOU NEED SOME HELP WITH THAT?" Anthony called down, realizing what they were trying to do and how painfully slow it was working out.
Leon helped out in his own way; he slung his AK-47 off his shoulder and carefully popped off some single shots.

"NO! THE PAINFULLY SLOW MOVING PROCESS IS ENJOYABLE AND NOT IN THE LEAST BIT NERVE WRACKING! STAY WHERE YOU ARE!"
Austin exhaled heavily as he reloaded once again, popped off a few more rounds, and then shoved into the car with everything he had.

rolled 1d100 and got a natural 12. After the modifier of -23, got -11
90 or higher says he gets an adrenal boost and pwns the noobs
"I have a feeling that was sarcasm," Anthony commented, confused.
"I think it was too," Josh said, shooting a few more zombies. "Don't help him. He's got this."
"Okay, whatevs." Anthony loaded his own weapon and helped pop some zombie caps as Josh reloaded.

(Wow that die roll failed miserably.)
Austin felt like he had popped or pulled something vitally important.
Turning around, he felt like almost all strength had been sapped.
Then- The unthinkable happened. His watch beeped. Armor materialized just a few seconds before a massive wall of flames descended upon the walking dead.
"Glad you could join the party!" Austin called into his headset.
"You're welcome," came the response. Kenzie and Austin chuckled.
A few SET-armored specialists dropped from the sky, landing on their feet with a thud.
Man, they looked massive.
Austin turned around and waved at Josh, Anthony and Leon. "Meet my friends! Guys, we need to fix this car up so my friend doesn't kill me."
"No problems, man. We've got it covered. First we need to check this place out, though. Make sure it's up to regulation."
"Regulation? They still have that?"
Austin and his two friends walked up to the gate, their armor dematerializing.

Leon couldn't help but be startled at this odd turn of events. "What the hell?" He wisely lowered his AK, figuring it would be rather hazardous to his health to point a weapon at these guys.
Anthony couldn't have been more surprised and confused if a sparkling unicorn had floated out of the sky, kissed him, granted him three wishes, and then exploded in a rainbow cloud of magic pixie dust. "Reg- regulations?" He had the horrified expression of a military personnel who had forgotten to clean his bunk or polish his gun or something equally awful. "There are r-regulations?"
Josh, on the other hand, was ecstatic since he was ignoring everything else. "You're gonna fix the Tank? I LOVE you guys!"
