Hey all, Winter here.
I'm curious if any of your character's have any role models? They don't have to be real, they could be made up by you or from some book, TV show, etc.
Take my OC Maestro as example. It just dawned on me the perfect role model for him, and would probably make him a super fan of, being the rl violinist Lindsey Stirling.
It came to me after finding this youtube video of Lindsey, performing songs from Phantom of the Opera.

A big role model for the MC of the fantasy novel I'm writing is her mother. Her values mostly match those of her mother and she tries her best to live the way she was raised. It is also often a motive behind her actions.
Other characters of mine tend to have an older family member or a teacher as a role model, but also sometimes a certain God or Goddess. The only exception for my own characters is a character that has J.K. Rowling as her role model ^w^

Sweet! Glad to know I'm not the only one to use a rl person. But seriously, that sounds cool! Good choices too.

But since this is not an IC forum and I'm not supposed to let him talk here, I just have to repeat that while not all of my characters have actual role models, Darius here is definitely one to both crush and generally fanboy over that guy and therefore predestined to be a part of this topic
I guess his obsession with Karajan developed mostly due to professional achievements and career, but if we talk more personal values, I guess his role model would most accurately be his own mother.

LOL! No worries, it happens. But it sounds like he has some good choices. ^-^
