You see a boy sitting on a bench, looking out to the harbor, crying quietly to himself. He had headphones in, so he didn't notice you walk up to him. He talked about that it was the last time. That he would never fall for it again. You tap him on the shoulder and asked what was wrong. He took his earbuds out and wipe away his tears, giving a painful smile to you, insisting that he was fine, just injured a little. But there were no signs on him that showed he was hurt. You again asked him why he was crying, but all he responded was, "I'm sorry, I need to go now." He got up and ran away.
The next day, you find him again, happy and smiling. It was almost as if he forgot what happened yesterday. It's strange to see someone so destroyed one day, and the next happy and carefree. You decide something was wrong and went to investigate more, no matter the cost.
