Uaithne smiled kindly at his understanding. "Sounds fair.", she liked the idea, of having someone her age...was he her age? "Do you mind if I ask for your age?", she inquired lightly, her voice still soft, but not as scared as she once was when she first walked through the set of double doors.

"Hmm 18 and I'm not gonna ask her age cause my mom always tought me to never ask a woman's age". He smiles

Uaithne held a thoughtful look on her face at his words. "Your mother seemed to have raised you fair.", she pointed out.

A sigh escaped his lips, and he rose to his normal height once more. "I s'ppose that is the deal, hm? What a dimwitted price friendship comes with.." Lief added the last part underneath his breath, lowering his gaze to the woman once again. He had attempted to ignore her some sort of mix-up of names, though he knew it had irritated him at the slightest.

At the sight of her strange greeting, he cracked a tiny grin. "Who are you speaking to..?" With a raised brow, he tried acting as if he hadn't been speaking to no one in particular once more. The Hellion followed the stranger's gaze to the ceiling and scanned over the patterns that had been creased into it, but was quick to look back at her as she shook his hand.

"Rylyn, hm?" The thief tilted his head with a full smile. "I s'ppose it's a pleasure to meet you. Though, I wish it wasn't on such circumstances." Should he give it a shot? Again? "But, to be the closest friend of mine, you must tell me what a you know of me." He understood it was a small fib, not to mention a terrible attempt at bribery, but he was still curious and somewhat concerned. She said they were the same... Perhaps she didn't know how easily that could be a lie.

Uaithne tilted her head slightly as a thought came to mind and decided to ask it aloud. "Do you have any abilities?"

Rylyn's eyes were wide as she looked to the man in front of her, staring at his chest absentmindedly. The woman's body had even ceased to move for a solid few seconds as she registered what he said. Though she had heard the rest of what he had said, none of it compared to the last bit of of his talk that had solely grabbed her attention.

"Cl...closest friend?!", came her disbelieving question as her body was alive with movement again with wild hand gestures and hopping on the spot like a bunny, a very big smile on her once shocked face. "What would such a title entail?! Do I get more gifts? Will Lawr- LIEF- would he like me? Praise is part of normal friendship but what about closest friendships?! That would make me closer than Aleron! Closer than Them?!-", as soon as she said it she shook her head at her own words. "No, no, no, you wouldn't let anyone get that close. That's jus' fine cause that means that maybe it's even- ohhhh~ the possibilities!", the red-head tossed out of her mouth, hugging herself at the end to contain her excitement some more. A tiny blush decorating her squished face.

Uaithne gulped a little and felt a little stupid. "Sorry...I should have figured.", she half-defended herself.

The thief nearly choked, drawing a sharp breath with a surprised, anxious laugh. He placed his hands on her shoulders, hoping to keep her from moving anymore than she already has. Sending a look over his shoulder as if expecting someone to be at the door, he exhaled. No one seemed to be there, but he understood that at a bar much like this, the emptiness of a bathroom would not last very long. The male turned his attention to the woman, squinting. Was she.. blushing? He assumed it was his miserable eyesight playing a cruel trick on him, yet he knew the tinted color of her cheeks couldn't come from the lights..

"Rylyn, please! Lower your voice," Lief chuckled, removing his hands from her shoulders to readjust his pale hair, which was loosely hanging over his shoulders. As the thief twisted his straightened curls into a bun, he calmly continued speaking with the struggle of hiding his smirk behind the foolish grin. "You do have to keep your end of the bargain, might I say. Just tell me what information you know of myself, never call me by the name of Lawrence, and then we can be.. the closest of friends." He confirmed it with a small nod, though he wished he could correct her in some way. Perhaps no one could come closer in friendships, or relationships, than Aleron had, but he was willing to give it a shot. If it meant keeping his head from becoming a trophy, then he assumed it would be alright for the time being. Though, he was confused on how the woman knew of his old-time friend, let alone the Stars. He hadn't meantioned them, had he? Was he really that careless in his actions? Maybe the potential friendship wasn't so.. worth the risk.

Rylyn had stopped moving when he held her down a bit, but still shimmied a bit in her spot, covering her mouth with her hands to keep her giggling to a minimum volume as she nodded at him. It was barely a passing thought that he had touched her again and her stomach did a short flip as she realized that his warmth on her shoulders lingered for a moment longer after he stopped.

The red-head contemplated on if she should tell him anymore than what she hinted at, knowing that it was dangerous and that Cy would be extremely upset with her; she didn't feel like having anything torn off again. So she did slow spins on the spot and spoke, remembering to keep her voice down just in time. "I dunno...~ I would get in trouble if I say anything! Plus, this is sounding less of friendship...", she pouted at the end, giving Lief her best 'puppy dog eyes' that she could manage.
