(This idea was created purely on a whim abs has little development, but I wanted to try this.)
The world I present to you today is one very much like our own. Same seas, same trees, same soil, even the same history.
But in this world, unlike ours, WE are the stories...the myths...the tales. Rather, this world is inhabited by creatures of myth, folk lore, and legend. And they live lives as we do, aside from their own supernatural abilities.
This story begins not too long after the end of the Second World War. When the scars of nations are fresh and deep.
Under MCArthur, the U.S has begun assisting in the rebuilding of the nation of japan. Causing many soldiers and their families to settle there temporarily as efforts continue.
A young soldier, and fairy, seeing the devastation brought by the war, agrees to take in a few orphaned children. The issue, he’s very young, and clearly not ready for fatherhood. On top of that, he’s clumsy and easily flustered. Will he last long enough trying to raise these kids, and facing down the glares of the locals still feeling scorned from the war.
All he can really say is, the war was less frightening!
(looking for decent grammar, 2-3 paragraphs, people willing to play multiple characters at once, and an over all love for story telling.
I am also willing to include a romantic sub plot if you can convince me. This is the family friendly version.)
