Rae laid on the cold ground, her eyes closed. She was knocked out. A cut down her breast and a couple on her arms. She felt a person pushing her side. " Mam? Hello? Do you hear me? Please wake up. We need 911 down here. " The pressure on her side vanished. Rae softly breathed, her chest going up and down. Her body was lifted up in the ambulance.
" The girl's still not awake. Maybe she won't- " " Keep trying, something about her is special. " Rae's eyes flicked open, showing those bright green eyes. She lifted her hand, looking at the IV. Her green eyes scanned the room. " Where am I? " She whispered. The two hospital guys saw her, turning, " Your awake! " One exclaimed, the other simply stared at her. The second guy walked towards the first. " Maxwell, we can't figure out what this girls DNA is.. " He showed him the paper work. " See. " Maxwell looked at him, then at the papers. " I'll have a look. " He lifted his eyes off the paper, then at her. " Excuse me, girl. What are you? "
Rae took the IV out and pushed herself. " I'm Rae.... Just a normal girl. " Her eyes staring into his soul. Maxwell felt disturbed, turning away. " Send her to the testing room. " He walked out of the room. There were only two people in the room, Rae and some doctor. The doctor was the first one to speak, " Rae, my names Valdrid. Not a great name and all, but I'll be showing you to your new room." He grabbed her arm, not giving her chance. Rae slapped his hand, " Let me go you flea bag! " She tried to turn away. Valdrid kept dragging her, " If you don't fight this would be a lot easier. " Rae smirked, starting to walk with him. " Would that make you happy? " Valdrid simply answered, " Yes, yes it would. "
Rae walked with him silently, looking down. " Where are you taking me? " Valdrid kept tugging at her arm, " A testi- I mean your new home. " He chuckled, nervously. Rae laughed, watching him walk. She kicked at his legs every once in a while. Valdrid ignored her even more. " Okay your here. " He pushed her into a room, locking the door, and calling through the hall ways. " Okay someone else watch her. "

Leon had watched all this from afar, although no one had dared to approach him. He was an intimidating figure in his Secret Service uniform and shades covering his eyes.
He waited until there weren't many people around and finally approached the guy who had locked Rae in the room. "I'll take it from here."

Isobel grit her teeth and clenched her hands. She couldn't stand that stench, the smell of antiseptic. Her nerves were screaming at her to run, to get out of this place as fast as she could, but she forced herself to stay. The bandages around her eyes made her blend in with the rest of the patients and she walked with a staff in her hand. She was wearing a windbreaker over her t-shirt and jeans instead of the standard hospital gown though.
A nurse came up to her. "'Scuse me, miss? Where's your attendant?"
"I don't need an attendant." Isobel snapped at the nurse.
"Ah, you're one of those patients. The ones that think they don't need to be here and can get better all on their own."
Isobel ignored the nurse and walked on. Her sensitive ears caught the sounds of struggle though. She felt her anger flare. A testing room?! She knew exactly what went on in those. She hurried past the insistant nurse trying to talk to her.
"Ma'am stop! You're going into restricted area!" Again Isobel ignored her and when a guard tried to stop her, she spun her staff, thwacking it and taking his legs out from under him. She was now even with the doctor and Rae.
"Let. Her. Go." She said in a dangerously angry voice.

Valdrid nodded his head to Leon, passing him. He saw Isobel. " Mam, I think you need to go back to your room. " Valdrid's eyes scanned past her, to see one of the workers. He simply winked to him, the worker grabbed a knock out shot. " Now Mam, simply back up and go to your room, or we will have to take matters into our own hands. "
Rae looked at the two, standing up, walking towards the door. She watched the girl simply take out the nurse. Who is she? Is she from heaven or from hell? Her hand touched the handle of the door, trying to pick it open. Rae's nose wrinkled up, she had smelt... Blood. Her hands gripped the door handle tighter. Don't! They must not see you like this! She fell to the ground, gripping at her wrist.

Isobel grinned ferociously. "Go ahead. I'd like to see you try." She twirled her heavy staff like a baton and turned her head to face the man with the knock out shot. "You're not very good at being sneaky you know."
Isobel took a defensive position, centering herself and holding the staff ready. Whatever they'd do, she'd be ready for it. She waited patiently for them to attack. The doctor and man with the gun would be easy enough to take out, but there was another. One that was quiet and also holding Rae. He seemed to be the one most worried about.

Leon nodded back as he passed Valdrid, then walked silently over to Rae's room. He stopped outside the window and held a finger up for silence, mouthing the words I'm going to get you out of here. Now stay quiet.
The man with the darts shot at Isobel and she smoothly stepped to the side, twisting her staff and pulled it apart into two swords. She stepped towards the gunman and cut his dart gun in half, thumping him in the head with the hilt of her other sword at the same time. The doctor had run by then, probably to get reinforcements. Isobel ran into the room Rae and Leon entered.
(Can I hop in soon?)
Rae watched them. Heaven for sure. She saw the two walking towards her. Her emerald eyes looked at them, she pushed herself back. Before they could get into the door, she spoke. " Don't come in, please. I have no promises. "
Promises of what? Isobel kept going as she thought this. She wasn't just going to leave the girl now. Chances were, she'd be caught all over again. "I won't hurt you."
"Way to go, princess," Leon sighed in a bored tone of voice as he finished picking the lock on Rae's door. "I was going to get in and get her out without a skirmish, but that seems pretty much impossible now, what with all the ruckus you made."
Turning and glaring at him seemed pointless right now, so Isobel just shrugged. "I had my own plan: Get the girl to safety. Being able to fight back at those labbies, well that just added a bonus."
Rae stood up, stepping back. " Why did you come and save me? Such a silly girl. " Her hands turned to fist. " I really don't understand why you would try and save me. " Her emerald eyes measured up both of them. " They knew I was special, my DNA mixed up... But you two, I have no clue why you are here. "
Isobel stood still for a second, mulling over Rae's words. "Let's just say I made a promise I intend to keep." She heard footsteps coming down the hall. "Sounds like we're about to have company." Her hands tightened around the two swords in her hands.
Rae stared at her, trying to figure out what she was. She scurried into a corner in the room. You must not do it here, they'll find you for sure. She felt her heart racing, she was turning into her wolf form. By the time she was in her full wolf form, the humans were grabbing a gun and shooting it at Isobel.
Isobel felt her own heart racing, but forced herself still and listening as the bullets came at her. Her swords spun through the air, slicing the bullets and diverting their path past her and into the walls. Right shoulder..headshot..second left rib... She could hear the air paths of the bullets and predict where they would be. One got past her blades though, and hit her in the right thigh. She almost went down, but simply grimaced and leaned more on her left leg. If she stopped now, she'd be dead.
Rae shook her fur, her white coat no longer blending in with the dark shadows. Her emerald eyes then saw Isobel. I've got to help her, she's helped me so far. Rae nodded her head, at her own thoughts. She jumped over Isobel, snarling and growling at anybody who came near. The men still had their guns but now they were pointed at Rae. Rae darted at one of them, biting his leg. She simply threw him to the side, crushing his gun in her mouth. She looked over her shoulder, the other guy in her target. She drew back her lip, showing her teeth. She growled and walked over towards him. Her eyes then looked at Isobel, she noticed something was wrong.
Isobel twisted the two swords together and they became a staff again. She leaned on it to keep weight off her leg. "A were-wolf huh? Cool." They had to get out somehow. If it had been just Rae, she could've just flown out. She couldn't carry Leon too, and she wouldn't just leave him here.
Rae flicked her white tail, shacking her head. " How can you see me? You have bandages on your eyes. " She said, walking towards the human she had almost killed. She sniffed around his coat, nudging the pockets. She finally found a pair of keys.
"I can't see you. I've met a were-wolf before and they make a distinct sound when they shift. I think it's the fur as it comes out of your skin. It's really faint, but I've had to depend on my ears as eyes." Isobel limped over to the wall and felt it with her hand. "Any windows in here?"
