Megan looked out the window at the scenery going by. She was on a bus heading out of town towards a school for "Gifted" children. She adverted her gaze from the window to look around at the other kids surrounding her. They weren't special at all, they were just delinquents that the city didn't want to deal with. Sighing Megan looked out the window to see the school looming up from the distance. It looked more like a prison then a school. They pulled up to the school and she realized that it was a prison that the city had half-heartily turned into a school. The bus pulled up to the front and the kids filed out.
Vincent watched the girl file off the bus in front of him and decided to talked to her. He walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder."excuse me."
Megan looked over her shoulder and gave the boy a once-over. "Hey." she said simply as she turned towards the front to listen to the principal. Megan saw a rock on the ground and picked it up, Moving towards a younger kid. "Hey kid." he whispered "I'll give you a Dollar if you throw this rock at him." Megan finished, breaking into a grin and giving the kid the rock. She scooted back to her place and watched the kid throw the rock.
Vincent stood and tried to listen to the principal but became lost in his thoughts."why did I go to talk to her? Was she someone I knew from somewhere else? Why did she make that younger kid throw that rock?" He looked over to the boy the girl got to throw the rock at the other student. He had gotten quite a few new bruises from doing something as stupid as throwing a stone. His eye was black and bruised, he was cradling his right arm as if it had been broken. And his nose was turned a way no nose should turn. "Magic, no doubt." Vincent thought." A pretty good example that I should watch my back here." Vincent let the thought pass and continued to listen
Soon the principal stopped talking and showed us to our individual dorms. "Each child will be assigned a dorm to themselves, with the opposite gender across the hall." he shouted to be heard. "Come with me to see your dorm assignments." he added walking towards the doors and entering the school. "So we actually have to stay here?" Megan said sounding exasperated. "I was looking forward to working on my bike." she added grumpily, following the principal.
While following the principal into the dorms, Vincent saw the girl from earlier."maybe I should ask why she made that younger kid throw that rock". He tapped the girl on the shoulder for the second time to get the answer for his question.
"Ok Room number 1 is Megan Swartz's room. Please step forward and get your key." The principal yelled out just as Vincent tapped her. Megan wove through the crowed with ease reaching the front and collecting her key. "Room number 2 goes to Vincent." The principal called as Megan was putting the key in the lock to open her dorm.
kurumu glances at vincent from the busy crowd around her, she walks up to him and introduces herself,
"hey, im Vincent. do I know you from somewhere?" Vincent asked the second strange girl he had met today.
"Maybe, you seem familiar, maybe we were friends in a past life." she says with a focused look on her face.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Vincent said as he walked over to his dorm room. "Well I have to go put my stuff together In my room. See ya later" Vincent took his dorm room key from the manager and unlocked the door. Then, he heard the manager of the dorm say "school won't start until tomorrow so you have one day to prepare. And remember, no wandering around after midnight. If you do, you don't want to know what we'll do to you" a wicked smile stretched across the managers face as she continued to lead students to their dorm rooms. Vincent closed the door to his room and thought to himself. " we really are trapped here, aren't we?". He sat down on the bed and wondered where he had seen the strange black haired girl before. "Did I know her from somewhere? She seemed so familiar". He sat back and wondered what the two strange girls were doing.
Megan got restless after a while and decided to explore. She quietly stepped out of her dorm room and locked it again. "There, now time to cause some trouble." she mumbled to herself as she passed Vincent's dorm and walked down the hallway.
while he was thinking to himself, vincent heard the girl in room one lock her door and walk past his room. "i should go see what she's up to. not to mention I haven't introduced myself yet and i've been following her like some wierd stalker or a lost puppy." vincent walked out of his room and began following the footsteps .
Isobel hadn't really paid attention at all to what the principal had been saying. She took the key for her dorm, number 3. She had dark glasses over her eyes and a staff held in her hand. She reluctantly let one of the aides lead her to her room and unlock it for her. She doubted there were many other blind kids here at this school for the "special." Most were just delinquents. Isobel hoped she wouldn't have to share a room with someone. She listened to the footsteps of kids trying to quietly leave their rooms.
She ignored them and went to the window, opening it and letting a cool night breeze in. A smile threatened to break out on her face and she climbed up to the windowsill. She listened for other people, but it didn't seem like anyone had made it outside yet. She carefully stood up in the sill and started climbing up the side of the building until she came to the roof. It probably wasn't a good idea to come up here, but being inside for so long had been stifling.

as Vincent continued walking, he found himself catching up with the girl. "I wonder where she's going? I'm just surprised I've been able to keep up with her". Vincent watched as they passed all of the already filled dorm rooms. "jeez, how many students go here? my room is room two, and we're already to room 125!".
(lol I typed the number with my eyes closed.)

RaeLana carefully wondered through the hallways, lost. Waddling along with her luggage, she looked for her room number 143. Being shy, Rae couldn't being herself to ask someone for directions or trouble them to help her find her room. While she was looking around the halls for her number, she accidently crashed into a male figure (Vincent), falling quite hard onto her bottom with a small yelp with her luggage flying out next to her, luckily still tightly closed.
Her brow furrowed as she winced. "I'm so sorry..," she said in a small voice, a crimson red blush painting her cheeks as she looked up and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Vincent recovered from the strange hit from behind and turned around to see a girl had fallen over behind him. "I'm sorry!" He said, kind of surprised he hadn't seen her earlier. "Do you need any help? I guess I kind of knocked you over, so its the least I can do.".
"Ah.. No! It's fine! Really, I was the one who bumped into you.. " she sheepishly smiled and scrambled onto her feet as she dusted herself off. Righting her short skirt, she asked " Um.. I was wondering if you knew where room 143 is?.. If you don't mind helping me out?.." She picked up her over sized bag and waddled towards him.
Vincent thought for a moment and tried to think where room number 143 would be. "Well, seeing as how that over there is room 125 over there, I'd he willing to believe that the direction we need to go is..." Vincent pointed northwards. "That way. Here, i'll help you carry some of that. How come you didn't ask others for help before now?".
Her cheeks burned from embarrassment as she slightly nodded her head. "um.. I-I'm too shy to really talk to anyone..." She gulped and smiled at him "My name is RaeLana. Call me Rae." she said as she pulled a small bag onto her shoulders while handing him the other one. "Thank you."
