"You hungry pride?". Vincent asked the dog. Pride looked back up at him. "Yeah! Can I have some. Charcoal, Vincent?". Vincent was surprised. He didn't think that pride's voice would be the voice of a young boy. He expacted that if he could talk, he would sound like his father. His voice deep, somewhat soothing. "Well, I guess it worked. I owe you one.". Vincent thought of ways to pay her back as he gave the little dog a piece of charcoal. "I know! You can join the group! It might be a good idea to have a new member before gym class.".
Eri blinked and smiled. "I would love to." She gently placed a hand on Pride's head. "Just to tell you this rune won't last, at most it should last for a good week." she turned back to him. "Please take good care of us." Sasha huffed and walked closer to Erissa. "Take care of her mostly." Peppit squeaked in agreement. Eri playfully glared at both of them and scratched his muzzle.
The group sat down as their first class started. The teacher began her first actual class with a reading from Dante's inferno, a reading Vincent found ironic if he was pride, seeing as how he was born in hell. Then it was off to Mr. Lee's class, who proceeded to kick down the new door and yell at the class about how weak they were compared to the teachers and then challenged the class to take him on at once, but no one took him up on the offer. Soon, it was gym class.
The gym teacher was actually two teachers, both of whom were brother and sister. They split the class into their respective groups and got ready for a "training exercise". Suddenly, Vincent looked over his shoulder and saw the siren from the day before, only this time she had four others with her. Nervously he tapped Isobel on the shoulder. "Hey, Isobel. Remember how you said that the siren wouldn't bother us again? Well now she's got friends with her. This could turn into a problem.".

Remember how you said that the siren wouldn't bother us again? Well now she's got friends with her. This could turn into a problem.".
Isobel listened as the new addition to the group introduced herself. It seemed they were getting more people with an affinity with animals, mostly canines. The classes seemed to go by a lot faster, soon enough, their group came to gym class. Isobel turned around when Vincent told her about the siren. Her eyes were still covered with the bandages, not bothering with the sunglasses any more. The siren gave a look that was lost on Isobel and she stared back, unseeing. One side of her mouth tweaked up. "Looks like we'll have competition then." She handed an herb to him. "Here, this'll help if the siren decides to come after you. It's bitter."
Vincent looked at the herb in curiosity. "So I eat it?".
She nodded her head. "Just chew and swallow. Learned about it from a mage that lived close to the sea."
"neat. thanks!" vincent carefully put the herb in his pocket as the whistle was blown. immediately he jumped up into the rafters and jumped back down on top of a students head, rendering him unconscious.
Isobel played the helpless blind girl at first, quickly putting down those who attacked her first. The siren wasn't fooled though, having seen Isobel in action beforehand. She'd kept her wind breaker on and was burning up in the hot gym. A werewolf soon solved that problem for her though, when he shredded through it. She snarled and turned on him. He easily dodged the wide swing of the staff, but missed the low kick that quickly followed. She whacked him soundly in the head and he was out like a light. Isobel took off the remaining tatters of the windbreaker and frowned. Seeing as how her wings were revealed, she took to the air, continuing the fight there.
rika hid behind the others, for she wasn't used to combat. then pridewalked up to her in his larger form. "hi rika. what are ya doing?" he asked. "I'm hiding. I'm not used to combat. will you help me fight, pride?". the hound seemed to be surprised at the statement. "sure, i don't mind helping." he said happily. the hell hound walked to her side and stood in a defensive position. as soon as she thought she was safe, she began to cast an ice spell. she felt the air around her drop in temperature as she envisioned a large crystal shaped ice mound appear in the middle of an enemy group. it took a lot out of her, but she did it. the opposing group were thrown into the air like rag dolls. what she needed, was her staff. she would be able to use magic without much strain then. she saw the staff in her mind. and, exactly as she remembered it, her mothers staff naoru appeared in her hands. "now!" she yelled. "I can use magic!".
Ceilibell didn't have any weapons of her own, but if one tried to look for her, they couldn't seem to find her anywhere in the gym. You could hear the music of a flute playing, but could never pin point it. In reality, their eyes were simply slipping past her without acknowledging her. She grinned as she was virtually invisible to everyone. She decided to do something a little more helpful towards the fight though. The music of the flute changed and the opposing team seemed confused for a moment. Ceilibell was visible once again, concentration in her face. The opposing team started attacking each other as they had been attacking Ceilibell's team a moment ago. The siren didn't seem as affected. Perhaps it was because their abilities were so alike.
As quickly as the fight began Sasha was all ready in a defensive position, protecting Erissa and Peppit at his flank, snarling and occasionally biting off an attacker's head when he tried to get close. Erissa had all ready designed and tattooed enchantments of a protective shield for herself and her two companions before grabbing her dagger stash that she carried in her pockets. With accurate aim, her daggers sailed through the air, successfully taking down her intended target, slicing their necks. Sasha savagely took down his fourth victim, his muzzle covered in crimson as he went for the kill. Peppit squeaked a warning every time someone came near Eri in her blind spot, giving her time to maneuver and avoid some of the blows.
This time, Rae didn't forget the one weapon she could use without worry of coming in close combat with anyone. As soon as they attacked, she took to the high railings near the ceiling. While she ran, her hand quickly retrieved two a thin metal bars. One that automatically assembled itself into a silver long bow and the other into metallic arrows. Like what a sniper would do, Rae quickly found a spot, taking her position, she took three metal arrows, notched them on the string and aimed at three attackers on coming Ceilibell's blind spot. Taking aim, she pulled back and released, cleanly taking them out before finding another spot to find her next victims.
Ceilibell spared a quick smile of thanks to Rae and moved on as the opposing team incapacitated or killed each other. She had to focus hard to only affect the other team and not her own. Usually, she only used her persuasive melodies on passerby when she wanted to draw a bigger crowd while performing. This was more aggressive and took longer with so many people. It wasn't hard to get them to turn on each other though. Everyone had adrenaline pumping through them and were in a fight mode.
Isobel couldn't really tell anyone from each other besides her own group. She had to go on whether or not they attacked her, making her go mostly defensive until they did. The music in the background seemed out of place in such a battlefield, but the it was beautiful.
Rae's eyes widened once she looked up from her targets. Seeing Isobel in the air.. and with black wings! She rubbed her eyes and gazed at her. "Isobel has wings?..." She never had seen a human with wings only feet and occasional people who lost limbs and had them replaced with wood or metal..but not wings. This really was a special school. She shook her head and quickly returned her attention to the fight.
Continuing to swing his scythe in the open space of the gym to get rid of surrounding attackers, Vincent looked up and saw Isobel flying. "Cool. I want to fly to." He said as he built up chaos energy. He could feel his body become lighter as he thought of the natural order of things he got to break whenever he wanted to do something like this. Soon, he found himself off the ground and flying toward Isobel. "Nice day, isn't it?". He said laughing.
Isobel jumped (well, as much as one could jump while flying) and just stopped before swinging the staff through him. "Vincent! I didn't know you could fly too."
"Yeah, well its not easy." Vincent complained. "Not only do I have to concentrate on keeping your balance, but I have concentrate on keeping the chaos magic under control. Only my race, demons, and angels are the only people I know who can use chaos magic.".
She grinned. "Guess there's an advantage to being all natural. This is easier to me than walking." Isobel wondered what other powers he had as she sent someone's chimera back down towards them.
Sasha howled in victory as he overcame his latest victim, his paws and muzzles coated in crimson as he snarled at the now wary students. When Sasha was like this, he looked like he could might as well be the same species as Pride, except with metallic silver and white fur. He protectively circled around Erissa as he snapped and snarled at the students. A smile played on her lips when she looked up. "To be able to fly.. lucky." The most her runes could do is enhance a person's jumping distance or height, but to fly... that was only a dream. Eri shook her head and Peppit squeaked providing her with more daggers from the field with the help of the protective rune. "Thank you, Peppit." she smiled and picked him up as she threw three more daggers, protecting Sasha's flank. With the help of Pride, Sasha pinned down the siren, who was shrieking as they growled threateningly at her.
With that the fight was over. The remaining students blinked and shook their heads back to reality, some dizzy from the adrenaline or from blood around them. Cries for their friends, lovers, and teammates could be heard behind her as Eri walked over to the siren, who was whimpering pitifully on the floor. "Looks like she was behind all.."
