Sirens?! Ugh. It was bad enough living in the same waters with them.. She thought she could have gotten a break from them but here they are! She blinked in annoyance and during that moment she blinked, she couldn't believe her eyes. The deadly dance of Isobel's swords took her aback for a second. It was like she wasn't blind at all. "Amazing." She whispered and smiled. Not wanting to waste another second and while wishing she had her bow, she sprinted through the group and attacked from behind with focused jabs to their pressure points on their necks, back, and head leaving two unconscious from the dull side of her blades.
When she back stepped quickly to move out of a fireball's trajectory, her foot was caught in an ice trap leaving her stuck to the ground. "Dear Neptune!" She grunted as she bashed on the ice with the back of her blades. Another fireball was hurled toward her while she was distracted. Rae clenched her jaw and prepared for the burn.

Vincent easily swung his scythe in the wide hallway. He had heeded Isobel's warning and took care to avoid whatever she was worried about. "Time to disappear." He thought as he slowly evaporated into a shadow and moved toward the back of the group. He could hear the group looking for him as he crept up on a member of the group who was holding a club. "Surprise!" He screamed as he jumped out of the student's shadow, slicing him with his scythe. Then he saw the fireball heading towards Rae and jumped in front of it, taking the strike. Slowly he got up from the fall he took and faced rae Lana. "You okay?" He asked as tiny shadows danced across his wounds, slowly healing them.
Isobel left one man incapacitated and managed to slice the throat of another before they realized she was there. One of the mages turned to her and lifted his hand. She felt the temperature drop and couldn't tell if it was internal or external. Her teeth were chattering and she lifted her own hands in his direction. A flash of light came from her hands and didn't succeed in much more than giving him a little shock. Guess it doesn't work too well in the cold. She thinks numbly as another of the group approaches.
As Vincent saw what was happening to Isobel, his eyes turned red with anger. He looked down at the scythe and it disappeared. "Howl, wolfsbane." The sword appeared in his hand as he charged towards the mage. But before he could make it to him, the mage put another ice wall in front of him. Vincent whistled and the sounds of paws could be heard going Down the hall. His hell hound came bounding forth and attacked the mage, biting his arm off. "Speak" Vincent commanded, and the hell hound breathed fire upon the ice wall and Vincent came charging through again and stabbed the guy about to attack Isobel. "You okay, too? I think one of the mages won't be a problem in a minute.". He looked back at his hell hound. "Sick 'em.". The dog leapt on the mage and began attacking. "Well, now that that's done..." Vincent's sentence was cut short, as he smelled the scent of perfume. "That smells amazing.". He said in a transe.
Isobel took in a deep breath when the effects wore off and almost started coughing as she breathed in the sweetness. The dreaminess in Vincent's voice confirmed her fears. Tinkling laughter came from behind her and Isobel whipped around, a snarl on her face. She'd never had very good experiences with Sirens. There was only two left, the other mage and the Siren. Isobel stepped forward with her swords raised and the laughter stopped. "Nuh uh, I saw what you can do with those." The Siren directed her voice at Vincent. "She's trying to hurt me, you wouldn't let her do that, would you?" She said in a pouty sweet voice.
"No, I wouldn't." Vincent walked toward Isobel, every part of him trying to fight it, but couldn't break free. He could only watch as he summoned Shikurasa back into his hands.
"Aw, such a gentleman." The Siren said in a flirty tone. Isobel faced Vincent and changed her two swords back into a staff. She moved to a defensive stance, not intending on killing him. I just need to touch him...
Vincent's body lifted his scythe and prepared to swing. "Damn it!" He thought. "How do I stop this? I can't hurt her! Why can't I control my body?! Its like I've become that woman's puppet! ". And then, he began to swing his scythe.
Rae finally broke out of the ice trap with a hard smack of the back of her blade. Seeing Vincent becoming tranced by the siren, she silently crouched down to the ground, silencing her footsteps besides the fact that she was unable to feel her left foot. While the siren was busy controlling him with that sickening voice, she quickly trapped the girl between her blades. "Hello cousin." She snarled in the siren's ear, distracting her from her spell on Vincent. "If you don't want to have you throat slit... please. shut up and leave us alone." She glared.
Isobel blocked the first swing. These were a little harder to block, only a quiet whistle as the blade swung through the air. One little misjudgement and she'd be dead. "Don't worry, I've got a way out for you." She dodged underneath his next swing and come in close, her hand on his chest. "Sleep." Light emanated from beneath her hand. He would be asleep until she came back and woke him up. She really hoped she didn't die now, if she did, it was likely Vincent wouldn't wake up.
Vincent felt himself fall asleep, his conscienceness slipping.
Rae gasped slightly in surprise, but still kept a tight hold on the siren. "Isobel. Is he all right?"
Isobel nodded and set him down on the floor. "He's just asleep for the moment. You got the siren?" She listened for any of the others to try to attack but it seemed they were all down.
Rae nods. "Yep." She looked at her cousin and frowned. "What should we do with her?..."
Isobel cocks her head and thinks for a moment as she reaches down and touches Vincent's ankle. "Hey, wake up big guy." She walks toward the siren and Rae. "I suppose I could take away her voice, or maybe do a little facial reconstruction." She could do pretty much anything medical as long as she was touching the person. Though she usually healed.
The siren began to struggle in Rae's grip, clearly frightened by Isobel. Rae bit her lower lip and shook her head. As much as she hated sirens.. they were family... With a small sigh, she quickly jabbed the back of her neck, knocking her unconscious. "I.. I can't let you do that while she is awake... leave her voice though. Other than that she is all yours." Rae let down the girl and dusted off her hands.
Isobel knelt down next to the girl. She wasn't really intending on doing anything so harmful but the words had been out before she could think. Her own words made her a little sick. Guess the labbies rubbed off on me. She finally stood up. "I don't think she'll mess with us anymore, we scared her pretty well."
Rae internally sighed in relief. She walked toward Vincent and knelt down, offering her right hand to him. "You alright?" She asked as she felt her left foot, wincing slightly. "Ouch frostbite..." she whispered under her breath.
Vincent awoken and took Rae's hand. "Yeah, I'm alright. Did I hurt you guys?" He asked. Vincent looked over at the hell hound, where it sat happily with a bone in its mouth. "Come." He commanded. And the big dog wandered over and began to transform into a little puppy, which jumped into his arms. "Good boy, pride. Good boy.".
"Nope, I put you out before you could do much." Isobel's swords were once again replaced with a staff. She listened as the heavy breathing from the hell hound changed into the lighter breathing of a puppy. "That's some pet you got there."
