Vincent looked over at Isobel. "you think so? he walks around with me usually, but he was asleep yesterday and was late getting up this morning. people are usually scared of him, but he doesn't bite or ignite himself and turn into his regular form while you're holding him." Vincent looked over at what was left of the mage. "most of the time.".
Rae stared intently at the dog, somewhat curious by the furry beast. "So this is what you call a dog?" She asked while she covered her foot with her hand with the other outstretched to see if she could pet him. Rae bit her lower lip, she needed to head to her room to heal herself. She sighed and wobbled slightly when she stood. She frowned noticing that she still need to get used to working her legs. "You guys head to class first, I have to make a quick stop to my room to get something." She really needed to get this insufferable frostbite gone and after this event... she really wanted her retractable metal bow with her.
"I don't know." Vincent said, concerned. "Wouldn't it be a good idea for us to come with you? In light of what just happened, I think three is better than one. Isobel, you don't mind heading back, right?".
Isobel agreed. With everyone out to get each other, being alone didn't seem like a good idea.
Rae pursed her lip and nodded. "Sorry. I'm already making you guys late for class.. On the first day even." She tucked her hair behind her ear and offered her hand to Isobel if she wanted her help. "I'll be quick and we can run to class after?"
Isobel grabbed her hand and paused. "You're hurt. From that ice spell." She felt bad for not asking her about her wounds before. "Here." Light glowed from beneath her hand and was absorbed into Rae. The girl would have felt a warmth that spread down to the frostbite and filled her whole body.
Rae gasped, her eyes widening in shock. She rolled her left foot and smiled, feeling warm all over. "How did you do that?"
"So you're a master of healing magic, Isobel?" Vincent was surprised. Of all the things he expected to see at the school, healing magic wasn't it.
Isobel shrugged. "I never really thought of it like that, but yeah, I guess I am. I can read a person's energy if I'm touching them. Don't remember how I learned it." She couldn't remember anything before waking up in a lab.
"Interesting. Well, should we be able get into class now?". Vincent summoned Shikurasa back into his hand and put pride back down onto the floor. Taking the scythe in both hands, Vincent raised shikuras into the air and brought it down onto the ice, cracking it. "Pride, speak!". The little dog lit the flames on its back alight again and howled fire onto the wall, breaking it. Vincent moved out of the way for the girls to go through the walkway. "Next class is open". Looking back at the hell hound, Vincent commanded it again. "Sit." The large canine sat down and transformed back into a black puppy. Vincent picked up the little dog and looked st his friends for a response.
"That's amazing! You're both amazing!" Awe was completely saturated in her tone as she stares wide eyed at the two. She couldn't believe she was grouped up with them... she shook her head and helped Isobel to the next class. "Thank you. Both of you."
Isobel blushed a little at her sincere thanks. "It's no problem. We're in a group right? We watch out for each other." She felt happy saying so and sat down in an empty desk.
For being in a fight where he killed a couple of people, and sent some away with serious injuries, vincent was surprised when they weren't really late at all. Actually, the teacher was running late so they had to wait for him to get there. But when he got there, he made his prescence known. The teacher had kicked the door off of its hinges, and walked in like it was nothing. He hadn't even gotten any dust or debris on him or spilled one drop of his coffee from his "I hate Monday's and kids" mug. As soon as he set his stuff down, he began his adress to the class.
"Alright, listen up!" He yelled, easily silencing the classroom. "I'm Mr. Lee, I'll be teaching you delinquents about math and science. Meaning you'll have to come back to this room at the end of the day. Now I'm sure your homeroom teacher already told you about what we do at this school. And I'll tell you what I think about you as a class. You will NEVER amount to anything unless you train hard. If you don't keep on your toes, you will die. Any misbehaving in my class, and you'll be brought up front and have to fight me. And I WILL kill you. If you want to see me after class, don't bother. No teachers at this school are going to help you with anything. And I hope you know what I mean when I say math and science. I will teach you how to fight using different strategies to defeat an enemy. I will teach you how to lie with a straight face. And now I tell you my rules. One, get any blood on the carpet, and you pay for it. Two, no death in practice. That's all, now get out.".

Rae sat by her, beckoning Vincent to sit close to them also. she was slightly startled by the teacher's burst into the room but otherwise, she stayed silent.
Isobel raised an eyebrow at the teacher's outburst and it took a lot of her self control to not say a sarcastic reply. Adults like this didn't seem to like her very much, though she didn't know why.
In his seat, Vincent found it hard to keep pride under control. The little pup was sitting in his lap, growling at allthe students who looked at him. Then, the second bell rang, it was time for lunch. "You guys bring anything?" He asked. "All I brought was some charcoal for pride.".
Rae dug into her small pack. She brought out an apple and slices of beef jerky. "I have these? You guys want some?"
Isobel took out a slightly squashed sandwich and a bag of chips. "I have this." Right about now, she was wishing she had some food magicing ability. She reached into her bag again and brought out a water bottle.
Rae took out one of her daggers and sliced the apple and jerky into shareable pieces. She distributed them and began to nibble on her share. "This is a weird and dangerous school...."
"Yep." Vincent agreed. "We've already seen some of the types of people we'll have to deal with. And some of us were controlled by them. And man was that unpleasent. Again, I'm really sorry Isobel.".
