Video Games, and movies!
We all have a few we love, and a few more we cannot stand.
However, in the spirit of fairness...
What games/movies do you really dislike, and what good things do they have in them (regardless of them making up for the badness)
For me it is DmC, and Prometheus.
DmC is an insult to the original Devil May Cry series, even the lack-luster 2nd one.
However the overall gameplay is PHENOMENAL. And the morphing terrain? Awesome!
Prometheus also was insulting because of its "Chariots of the Gods" shtick, which I do not enjoy (if you do that is fine) and because it was insulting to AVP fans like myself. That being said the visuals, and the pacing, were on top. Pity what happened to the main character in Covenant.
So...what do you dislike.....but also can admit has one or more good qualities?

Well, not many games really get on my nerves, but this one really was a waste of time and money; Elex.
$60 of my money went into a game where, not only could you not choose the character, but also was extremely difficult at the starting point; I mean, evil fishermen at level one should not be able to kill you in less than 15 seconds. The controls were terrible, there was no indication of where I was going, and the “open world” part of the game took the phrase too literally; every interior (dungeons, houses, etc...) is part of the main world, leaving it all open and ridding is of the imagination.
I suppose one good thing about it was the background of the story, though the story itself was not direct, and the graphics weren’t the worst I’ve ever seen. But of every game I’ve wasted money on, this one was absolutely the worst; $60 I’ll never get back because I purchased it digitally. I’m still mad about it, btw.
