"Kay!" she called, closing the bathroom door and starting the water. When it was nice and hot, he let the water caress her body and wash the filth away.

as rika sat on the bed, she remembered her reasons for leaving home in the first place. ever since her mom had saved her that day, she had begun studying ways to bring people back from the dead. there was necromacery, which she was unwilling to try because she was afraid of the end result. a pact with a dark being of some kind, but she didn't feel that was a good idea. she would ask another mage, maybe one of a higher rank, but because of reasons she didn't like to think about because they made her swell with anger and sadness at the same time she felt they couldn't be trusted in matters such as this. so what could she do now? but the last thought that ran through her mind after that brought up a good point. unlike the times before when she was alone, she had a friend this time. not to mention she wasn't limited to a small library in a town in the middle of the forest. but one problem she ran into and was sure she would run into again was that she had never visited this place before so she didn't know where the library in the town was. well, if there was one thing she knew, it was that she was going to need to shower after megan was done.

Megan got out of the shower and toweled herself dry and wrapped the towel around herself. She opened the bathroom door to see Rika watching the TV. "Hey, your turn." Megan said lightly throwing a fresh towel at her. Megan looked at her filthy clothes in her arms. "This will not do." she mubled putting on a robe from the hotel. "I'm going to wash clothes ok?" Megan called through the room.

"alright!". rika said as she turned the water on. she let the feeling of comfort seap in and the feeling of unease pass. she was soon done and walked out of the bathroom to join megan in the other room.

Megan walked out of the door as Rika went into the living room. She hummed quietly to herself as she made her way down to the laundry room and put her clothes in.
